Die Lage, direkt um die Ecke ist der Makrtplatz und man ist mitten in der City von Alkmaar.
Einfachverglasung, man schläft geräuschtechnisch auf der Straße. Ein Fenster hat einen Riss und ist quasi dauerhaft offen. Der extreme Verkehr beginnt um 6 Uhr bis nachts die Poser auch endlich Feierabend machen.
Betten in der Suite sind komplett durchgelegen.
Frühstück wird portioniert auf einem Teller serviert. Jeden Tag das gleiche. Keine Auswahl. Parken ist nur im angrenzenden Parkhaus möglich. Fährt man raus muss man erneut 12,50€ bezahlen. Alles ziemlich teuer.

Sehr süßes Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Klein aber sauber und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend.
Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Super zentrale Lage.

We stayed in the hotel - in a small but cute room, in an old building with two flights of very steep stairs.
The hotel reception and breakfast are in the nearby partner hostel - and the stay felt very much like being in a hostel ( I didn’t mind but I hadn’t expected this)
Our bed was past it’s best, and the room was tiny

cozy place, clean and affordable. The breakfast was nice, although a bit expensive for what was offered. The parking was quite convenient and it was right around the corner from the hotel. The hotel in general had a unique character.
The rooms were pretty small and the ventilation was a bit suboptimal, specially the ventilation in the toilet and shower. Also, a major complain for us was that there was no coffee or tea equipment in the rooms. It was only offered in the lobby room on the ground floor, and there was no water tap around this area. So you had to take the kettle and bring it up to your room to fill it up. It was inconvenient.

had a discount price 50%. normal price is 150€ for a room probably 8m2 ! as image take a bed + 1m around and you have roughly the size excluding bathroom

only one thing the good destination
there was no heating in the room, not even in the bath. the room was on the rooftop there was no space I need to go with hear down, all the stairs was narrow so I dont recommend to take your suitcase with you

Great location. Close to the pubs, restaurants and shopping centers.
Bathroom was cold. Windows were single glass and I could hear lots of noise at night.

I couldn't open the door and no-one would let me in so I didn't get to sleep the the room. I want a refund

The staff were excellent - they could not have been more helpful or polite. The room is small but perfectly adequate for an overnight or short stay. Breakfast is a 2 minute walk away in the hostel which had a good variety of food. The hotel is right in the centre of Alkmaar and only minutes away from the shops, bars and restaurants.
The lighting in the bedroom was rather dim. Weekends can be noisy due to the close proximity of a main multi storey car park but otherwise is fine.

Kings Inn is described as a hostel but the room I had was spacious, clean, excellent view of the canals, with helpful staff. Good breakfast.

3 flights of stairs. Not a problem for us but it should be mentioned during the booking of the room so people that aren't really mobile know this.

The room was quaint and very comfortable.
Accessibility to the cheese market was excellent.
Thankfully we took an overnight bag as getting our luggage up to the room would have been difficult.
Having tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have made our stay perfect.

Good size room, very friendly staff! Clean, make a lovely breakfast. They make sure you're comfortable. Location is in city centre.
