The location was very good and the apartment was comfortable, with good facilities. The cakes on arrival were a lovely touch.

We were bothered a little by noise from the apartment above us: not partying, but the noise of footsteps late at night did cause some disturbance when we were trying to sleep. Setting and maintaining temperature of water from the shower was a bit tricky.

Had a fantastic stay. Just a little off putting as a guy was climbing around on scaffolding painting the external window frames of the bedrooms, during the first few hours of our stay.

The location is perfect, it's peaceful, relaxing & not crowded.It's what we needed, an escape to the country side. The locals are friendly & a short drive to the beach.

Everything was great, nice quiet spot to chill with all the facilities meeting our expectations.

Nothing to dislike

Superb location for visits to surrounding area, lots of equipment in the kitchen if you wanted to cook. The bed was very comfortable and the lounge /dining room was quiet spacious.

As a ground floor property we did not like the noise from first floor occupants moving about. (We appreciate the property is old and a bit creaky but we found it disturbed us, something to consider when we look for accommodation next time.) The hot water took a long time to run through to the bathroom taps, again you would get used to it eventually. The parking space was very tricky to get when every space was occupied. A small car would find it easier. These are all very small things but you did ask!!

Great position, central for Sandwich and surrounding area, tastefully decorated to a high standard.

Utensils on windowsill were dusty. All plates and crockery in cupboard were dusty and they all needed washing before they could be used.

Wonderful, well equipped, comfortable property. Although it's very central, it's very quiet and the location is ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others!

The apartment was in an oasis of calm...except for the beautiful birdsong which was wonderful. It's lovely seeing water outside your windows and the patio next to the stream was gorgeous. The owners were very helpful and responsive when I had a couple of questions. Sandwich was really quaint and pretty, with a beautiful river that you can walk along partly then break off through the golf course to the sea. The apartment was located where I could walk around town easily and I used it as a base to drive to nearby beaches like Margate, Deal and Broadstairs. I also worked really well at the kitchen table. All in all, a fabulous trip!
