The Beachhouse was really nice. We had seven adults and a five-year-old and a three year old. Plenty of room. Really enjoyed our stay

At $600 night, the home and location were good, not great. Clean property. The placement and flow of some things were a little odd... From light switches for bathrooms not located well in the bathroom to unsecured water heater/attic access doors next to children's rooms. On the flip side, the home seems well suited for elderly with grab bars and a flat first floor with two spacious bed rooms. The Roku in the den is temperamental and requires rebooting each day to connect to the internet to watch TV. This might not matter so much if the Roku was not the only way to watch TV. But it is. The washer/dryer and pool pump ajoin the open floorplan eating/living space to ensure you're bathed in sound. At good moments the consequence is white noise and at other moments this evokes a desire to flee the space. The pool heater is not operational. The east beach location is nice. The kitchen is nice. The number of bedrooms is nice. In summer, provided you are indoors mainly to sleep, this seems like it would make for a great stay. Anecdotally, the property next door is for sale and we were greated by a crime scene like vibe when we arrived after sunset at 7pm from the flashing/strobing led lights of the golf cart on said property. It proceeded to flash througout the night through the windows of the lower bedroom windows. I hope the property sells soon for the sake of the neighboring properties.

Our party of 8 adults enjoyed this property for a week so much that we have already reserved it again for next year! The pool was absolutely beautiful and private! We had 6 adults playing games or relaxing in it, and it was the perfect size! The house was very spacious. The kitchen/dining/living space is open-concept, and the attached sunroom is another comfortable area to relax when you get out of the pool. All the bedrooms had TONS of closet and dresser storage. The kitchen was well stocked and updated. The entire house and pool were very clean. The location in East Beach is perfect for a 2-3 minute bike ride to the beach or just riding or walking around the quiet residential neighborhood. The AC worked really well, too! It was perfect. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect house in our favorite East Beach neighborhood for our family vacation. Having the pool after a hot day at the beach is amazing! Updated kitchen was a nice surprise. Already booked again for next year!

Perfect spot for a family. Not a bad walk to the beach. The pool was a great addition. We also rented a golf cart to make getting around a lot easier. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was amazing for a group of 8 in town for a wedding. Pool was perfect and beach was easy to get to. House was clean and had everything we needed.

Was not pleased with the property. Needs some major updating including appliances, furniture and overall cleanliness. Did like the location and pool, wish it was heated. The house was a good size and fit our family.

We have stayed at a few different spots on East Beach and this was our favorite yet! The pool is perfect for adults lounging or kids playing. Great beach access with a golf cart (under 5 mins) and the house was super clean with a great layout for two families. We would definitely rent this house again!

Loved the location - short walk to the beach and short golf cart or bike ride to the village. Backyard area with pool was great! East Beach area has a special charm and the beach rental felt the same.

We loved having the pool. We didn't feel like the access to the closest beach was conducive to using wagons to carry our canopy, chairs, etc., so we ended up driving to another beach. If you are able to carry your stuff, it may be an option, but it is a bit of a hike. The kitchen was well-equiped and if you want to go to the village, you have to drive there. We had a great time!

Easy to find, great communication from staff. The location was close to the beach and the private pool was amazing.

With the craziness that we have all encountered, it is an understatement to say that we needed a family vacation. This was a perfect spot and we look forward to returning! A couple blocks to walk to the beach, short drives or golf cart rides to the local eateries...it was all perfect! Thank you!

The house is adorable. Pool is longer than expected and very cute with good sun. Great stay would def stay again.

The size of the house was great and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms where we all slept well and had plenty of room in our party of 6. The house is older, and does need the carpet replaced. It was cleaned by a company before our stay, but we went in and thoroughly cleaned before we brought in our luggage and babies since it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. The pool was great and a good size. You are one block from the beach path entrance, but then you are a good 2 blocks from the entrance! We had a beach buggy, but we really needed a golf cart with the kids. By the time we got there and realized this, all the golf carts on the island were spoken for. The family who owns the house has a golf cart, but they do not rent it out to the renters. Overall, this is a good size house, with its own pool, but prepare to give it a good wipe down when you come in and rent yourself a golf cart!

My family and I stayed here to celebrate our 2 year olds birthday and it was quite enjoyable. The house was well equipped, in a great location, and we loved the pool. We would definitely stay again. The only thing I did not love was the sofa, it was a bit weathered/stained but it was ultimately a great stay!

This house is perfect for a family beach trip! We had 6 adults and two young kids in our group. We all loved the convenience of the pool and access to the beach (which was not crowded at all). The kitchen was well equipped with a good supply of spices, and nearby grocery stores allowed us to eat well without dining out. Beds were comfortable, and the AC worked well. There were plenty of books and games too. We will come again!

Property fit our family great We had 2 children that really used the pool and a few adults that enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a phenomenal stay at ‘Johnny’s Hideaway’!!!! The house was perfect for our large family and never felt crowded! The pool was the icing on the cake after a hot walk back from the beach which was private and astonishing!!! We are so grateful for a comfortable home to make memories in... they even went out of the way to accommodate a couple circumstances! Thank you for a great beach vacation... the best memories are made by the sea!!!!!

We loved the location, the layout and the amenities at the house. The pool was a wonderful feature along with the open layout with the large gathering area, big dining table and well appointed kitchen. It was perfect for our group. Very good bedroom and bathroom space with plenty of privacy. Would definitely stay there again!

Very nice! Plenty of room for our family. Great week. Property Owners and Property Manager were very responsive and available. We will definitely keep this house on our list of favorites for SSI.

What an awesome experience! This house, the street/block, the short walk to the beach and the pool, definitely a homerun. My family of 5, and 3 grandparents had a blast. The house was extremely accommodating for all of our needs and the screened in porch and outdoor area by the pool provided great places for all of us to easily be together without ever feeling crowded. We will definitely be back to St. Simons and this house if it’s available!

We enjoyed our stay in St. Simons. The house was well appointed and it was wonderful to have a private pool. WE had way more space than we needed for our family. The kitchen and patio were great options. It was a fairly easy walk to the beach even with our wagon full of sand toys. I would recommend guests use the 6th street access which is easier to navigate than 7th. I grew up vacationing in St. Simons and loved being back on East Beach. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Great home close to beach access! Kitchen has all of the necessities and more. The floors weren’t as clean as I would have preferred (but not dirty enough to necessitate a call to property manager - cleaning supplies on hand to clean ourselves). Overall great home! We hope to stay again soon!!

My friends and family had a great time staying at this house. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay in St. Simons. Everything was clean and the owners were very responsive. I would stay here again.
