Great place to stay!

Fantastic waterfront property just steps from the beach. Very comfortable and well-appointed with comfortable seating areas inside, on be wrap-around porch, and underneath the house. Full sets of cookware and barware. Plenty of towels and blankets. Outdoor shower is a bonus after time at the beach. Recommend without hesitation. Enjoy!

Everything we wished for and more. I have stayed in other Houses in Galveston but none of them compete with this place. From all the little touches to being right on the ocean and when I say right on the ocean I mean you are are right at the oceans door. I could go on and and on but you must stay here to understand what I’m saying. We will definitely be back.

Probably one of the nicest properties that we have stayed in. It even smelled nice which is hard to do in beach houses. The house had everything needed for the perfect stay and beautifully decorated.

This home was the perfect beach property for our couples retreat. The ocean views and sunrises were amazing. It came fully stocked and equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The home was both beautiful and very clean.

Host and house both wonderful! Right on the beach, easy access, sweet decor. Couldn't ask for a better weekend spot!

Hubby & I had the most wonderful Christmas alone this year. We loved Salt Air Cottage! The bed was comfy, linens luxurious. The house was appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our Holiday! The Welcome drink was fantastic! We spent hours walking the beach finding beautiful shells. The house is in a quiet area, but convenient to Galveston. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage Stevie!

We feel so refreshed after a long weekend at the Salt Air Cottage. This home is so cozy and has an amazing view of the beach. We enjoyed reading on the porch with the sounds of the ocean in the background. Our dogs also loved lounging on the porch. The best part of our stay was waking up early to catch the gorgeous sunrises (and we’re not usually morning people, but the views were just that good). The kitchen also had everything we needed to cook throughout the weekend. We will definitely be back for the views and the specialty mimosas (IYKYK).

We had a fun and relaxing stay at Salt Air! Great location on the beach. The inside was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Host was very responsive and thoughtful and even gave us restaurant recommendations. Kitchen and bathroom contained all the needed essentials. We would definitely come back.

We stay here almost every time we come to Galveston. Stevie is a great host, and my son absolutely loves this house. It is well appointed, and we just love every time we stay here. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful time in this cottage. Beautiful views out the living and bedroom windows. The covered patio was wonderful to sit on. It was like being on the beach with the bathroom and our snacks handy. 😉 The host was wonderful, checking in throughout the stay and very receptive to suggestions. The house is located in a quiet strip of the beach and as two women traveling alone, we felt very safe here.

we enjoyed our stay. to view the ocean from the deck was mesmerizing and relaxing, that was most important to me. the place was decorated with taste, in certain area a bit too much, like too manny books too many pillows and blankets. the faucets in the smaller bedroom needs to be replace or repaired. Your supplies with coffee and creamers and paper products was ample and we enjoyed the beer and prosecco. We thank you again for your complimentary cleaning. On the deck we enjoyed the taller chairs the view of the ocean was unobstructed. The location was perfect close to restaurants, groceries and shops and the busy areas. The neighborhood was family oriented and quiet. The ice cream truck bells had a charming effect. All in all it was a great vacation, thank you.

The house had one of the best locations with steps to the beach. We saw dolphins from the porch. Loved the style and decor. We really enjoyed our stay minus a few issues. We never got any check-in info. I reached out to the owners the night before and contacted VRBO when they didn't reply within a reasonable amount of time. The only light in one bedroom didn't work and the guest toilet kept clogging. The owner tried to make up for these issues by having dinner delivered. I declined at first, but she really wanted to offer us something. We agreed to a pizza delivery, but she forgot to order it. I reached out asking about it and she did call to apologize. We got our delivery a few hours later than planned. We did really enjoy ourselves and will always cherish our time here. The communication with the owner was stressful as we did not always get a reply and when we did, it was usually a long time after reaching out. Loved the camera they offered of taking pics and sharing memories, but there was no film and looked like there hasn't been in a while as there were no 2023 photos up. Loved the outdoor shower and the porch can't be beat. Lots of comfortable furniture on porch. Overall, it was a good stay and we had a great time.

This place is so beautiful! None of us wanted to leave. I booked this place for my kids birthdays and we had sooooooo much fun! We found a sharks egg on the beach, blue crabs, and jelly fishes. It’s not to far from everything. I will be booking again before the summer ends. Thank you for having us here

It was our family’s second stay at the charming Salt Air Cottage for a wonderful beach vacation with all the comforts of home. We never want to leave. Our host, Stevie, was awesome as always, and we plan to visit again!

Because it's already tough to get a spot at Stevie's amazing beachhouse! I don't want you to know that it's literally right on the beach, that you can see the waves from every room. I don't want you to know that the A/C is cold, the showers are hot, and the house is super well insulated. If there had been bugs or smells or creaks or leaks, I could complain and warn you that this place is in ill-repair. I almost wish it didn't have a wrap around covered deck, a well-stocked kitchen, high-speed internet (enough for my husband and I to both work remotely and have video calls), and ice in the fridge. If it had more beds in every room, I could whine that it's just like every other unremarkable bunkhouse you've seen. And why does the beach have to be so quiet? If there were crowds, maybe you'd stay somewhere more peaceful. If you see how the inside is styled like a pottery barn catalog, you'll never leave, and then I'll never get to come back. What a frustrating experience it is to check out and know that each week, more people get to stay here while I'm still at work. Don't come here. Please. I don't want anyone to know about this place!

Trust me. I’ve rented plenty. But Stevie’s house smack dap on the beach rules the Gulf. Rent it! Relax. Unwind.

Beautiful. Perfect decor. Excellent host. Simply perfect, feels like you can step into the gulf from the deck. Away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston, yet not far to drive to destinations. Hope I'm lucky enough to come back some time.
