Upstairs guest house, well decorated, clean, good layout

This nice, cozy guest house just outside of Grand Teton National Park and a short drive to downtown Jackson was just what we needed. The comfy bedroom, neat living room, and well stocked kitchen was more than expected but certainly appreciated. The garage was an extra nice bonus. The host was super kind, providing a few snacks and a very generous concierge booklet with lots of restaurant, activity, shopping, and entertainment suggestions. We will definitely visit again.

If you’re coming for a ski trip, we highly recommend this home. We spent 6 days skiing and only drove to Jackson once for additional groceries. We enjoyed lunches in the village and kicked our feet up at night and cooked in the house. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything we needed. The home was clean and has some nice terraces which I’d imagine are wonderful in the warmer months. Having a garage was wonderful, especially for ski storage. We will definitely be back!!

The location is very convenient to the Jackson Hole village — easy downhill walk on the road — or it is also possible to walk 20 yards mildly uphill and then ski/skate/push to meet up with Lower Sundance ski trail. The unit is behind a much larger main house, but still has its own garage… very convenient. Access to the unit is through the garage and up a flight of stairs. It felt pretty secluded and in the woods despite being so close to the main house. The kitchen is well equipped — we appreciated that there was a decent stockpot to make soup. We would recommend that the owner install some window coverings on the doors in the bedroom — for both privacy and darkness. Lots of closet space (2 coat closets and one walk-in) was nice and convenient. Second half-bathroom would benefit from a mirror. “Welcome wolf” and classical music upon arrival were nice touches.

Great place

The condo was clean, well-appointed, and a great location for skiers. Having a garage with indoor access to the unit was a huge benefit as we got snow most days. Other reviews have commented on the lack of drawers, but there were enough hangers for most of my clothes and pulling a chair into the closet made a good stand for my suitcase. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Overall: 3/5 Location – 3/5 Was disappointing. My main purpose of booking in Teton Village was quicker access to Teton N.P. Turns out, Moose Wilson road, which connects Teton Village and Moose and Teton N.P. is closed all week and only open on weekends resulting in an additional 20 miles, via Jackson, to the Nation Park journey. Value: 3/5. While the published $399/night looks appealing, the actual cost, with cleaning and VRBO fees is $550/night – ouch! Not worth that amount in my opinion – especially when only using the house for sleep. House: 4/5. The VRBO description of the “Guest House” doesn’t tell you that the house is UPSTAIRS over a garage. For senior citizens with knee surgeries or mobility issues, this place may not be for you as there are quite a few steps up into the house. As advertised, this older house, fortunately, has been upgraded. Nice kitchen and bath upgrades. As in other reviews, was disappointing that the house did NOT have a dresser in the bedroom or in the walk in closet. The downstairs garage was nice if you are traveling with bikes or equipment and need extra security. We had two mice in the house that we trapped - they were enjoying our food. Finding the house: 4/5. Our GPS located the property fine, but when we arrived, we couldn’t find anyone around – only locked doors. Called owner – they were busy and forgot about us. Great location if you are a skier; otherwise not ideal if you are visiting National Parks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this carriage house! Great location and easy walk to restaurants in Teton Village. Very clean and well-stocked including Bear Spray! Nicely furnished and decorated. The rental manager was quick to respond Definitely would like to go back again!

What a delightful comfortable place to stay. Everything we needed was there, including bear spray (which we didn’t use as the weather wasn’t conducive to hiking). The Village is a bit out of Jackson and dining options limited so having a fully outfitted kitchen is key.

Great place. Wonderful location. Very clean. Well planned

Very nice, clean apt. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Very close to the Jackson Hole Resort. Not ski in/ski out but just a short walk. Unit was very clean and up to date. A little drawer space would be great for unpacking, but this is vacation so no need to stress about the little stuff. Besides the welcome snacks and chocolate more than made up for that and the information guide has everything you need to know to have a great trip!

The unit is a spacious one bedroom with a very well equipped kitchen in a guest house over the garage. It a short walk to the Mountain and the Village

Loved everything about it except the fact there is no place to unpack your clothes. There is a large closet but no drawers at all. So you basically end up living out of your suitcase. Also there are no tables in the living room by the couch to put any drinks. You end up holding your drink the whole time. The kitchen is well stocked, the location is very convenient to the mountain. It's clean and comfortable, overall it was great.

We had a wonderful stay! The guest house was everything a couple needs to relax and enjoy each other after a day of skiing in Teton village. This was our babymoon and it was absolutely lovely.

The Guest House was the perfect home for our first trip to the Tetons. Close starting point to National park trails. It was a quiet location with all the amenities of home.

The home was a lovely spot for two people to relax and have privacy. The kitchen was extremely well supplied with all the cooking pots and pans we could need. There was a more than generous supply of spices which we did not expect. The bed was excellent and the master bath was spacious. You could walk right across the street to the ski lifts, altough we were there in August. We had a little trouble at first finding the property as it was 11 at night and there wasn't any light to show the house number. The Property Manager had our incorrect phone number so we never received the text about how to get in. All that was remedied the next morning. The living area is located on a second floor so if you are unable to manage steps this probably isn't the place for you. The decor was adorable. We had a stackable washer & dryer right off the master. Although we had a huge closet, I would suggest the seller get a dresser so that you don't have to live out of your suitcase. The unit does look right into the house in front, so you do need to keep blinds shut for nightime privacy while watching TV but that would never stop me from staying there. The best part was we could use the garage door remote and pull into the 2 car garage and empty out our car after a day of hiking. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful property

We had an excellent stay at this property. After a full day of excursions, it was so nice to come back to this property and relax. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen, the spacious closets, the quiet washer and dryer, the luxury linens, and the access to the gas grill. An item we did not expect was the cooler and the cold packs which were very helpful for us on our daily excursions. We were also thankful for providing the bear spray. While we did not have to use it, we did have one bear encounter while hiking and we were glad we had the bear spray. The property manager was very responsive to questions. A couple of tips from our stay: * A nice selection of spices were available in the kitchen * Jackson has a traffic backup each day between about 5pm-6:30pm from the people heading west over Teton Pass (workers living in Idaho). We only encountered it once after a day of rafting and we stayed in town for supper and waited for traffic to clear out * The gondola up the mountain is an easy walk from the property and is free after 5pm

Property owner and manager were immediately available for questions. The guest house was spacious, immaculate and nice and quiet . I would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful and was better than the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again except for how ridiculously high all the fees are.

Nice and clean

Location was great for all Teton activities. We also visited Yellowstone two days, a long drive but worth it. Place was perfect for me and my husband we have a moose and deer just off the deck while staying here. Fun to see them close up. Place was well equipped over all. Bear stay was there to take on hikes which was much appreciated. We were fortunate to have two days before the smoke from the fires in CA started to accumulate. Dishwasher doesn’t work but didn’t matter as it was just us and we didn’t have many dodahes to wash. Refrigerator makes some strange noises may want to get it checked out. Overall great stay and great location. Thanks for allowing us to stay at this lovely location.

This was a great place to stay for our week in Teton. The location allows easy access to the park, Teton village and Jackson hole.. The house is very nice, perfect for a couple with plenty of space and nice kitchen. The owners provided some nice touches like bottled waters, Maps of the park, etc. While close to the main house, we still felt like we had plenty of privacy, including an outside sitting area. The owners were very responsive with instructions on getting into the house when we arrived. All in all, a great place to stay.

Great experience I would rent it again!

Really enjoyed my stay! It was clean and a great location, a stones thrown away from the mountain! Loved the access to the grill and outdoor patio seating as well. While I was disappointed the dishwasher didn’t work and the internet was spotty, it’s a wonderful guest house that was very clean and spacious.

Everything about our honeymoon trip was perfect! The guest house was a great fit for us and all the space we needed. The owner left us with ample staples and supplies...including bear spray! She was quick to respond by text with any questions we had. I would recommend 10/10!
