Great property to host a large family vacation. Loved cooking on the Blacktop, and the additional refrigerators were a big bonus. The wrap around porch with large fans and plenty of games was enjoyed by all. Having our own private pool saved this trip since the river was too low and we weren’t able to float the entire time we were there. Would stay here again!

Our group had such a great time! The location is great. It was clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. There was so much to do from the games Bbq’n, making s’mores by the fire pit and the pool! Definitely will be back for our next family getaway.

The cabin was really nice. The pictures don't do this place justice. Beds were very comfortable, A/C was excellent, and the pool was the best part. There was a total of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 elementary kids and we all took advantage of the pool during the day and night. The flat top grill and all the outdoor games were a great bonus as well. We cooked all meals the whole time here and had everything we needed. I would definitely rent again! Thank y'all so much for all the great detail taken to make this a wonderful vacation rental!

This place is amazing. It was so much more than we expected and cannot say enough good things about it. Our group is turning this trip into an annual one and we’ll be staying here from now on.

It’s safe to say we have now found our new spot in Concan. We’ve stayed in many places there over the years, but nothing tops The Log Cabin on Frio Road! Great cabin to stay in, close to the river but still secluded from the busy road. Lots of wildlife plenty of room.

This cabin is a gem! We came with 3 families and had plenty of room...kids loved all the games and the pool (even though it was chilly) and we all loved the short walk to hang out in the river. Thanks Susie for sharing your beautiful place!

We had a great time at The Log Cabin. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The location and space was great for our group of 10. We even had a close walk to the river. The outdoor space and activities available were great for our whole group. The kids really enjoyed running around watching the deer come up and eat. The fire pit was also great just to hang outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and the stars, while roasting marshmallows. My only recommendation would be to add a lamp in all bedrooms since we had young children traveling with us. We would definitely rent this property again in the future.

The Log Cabin is the perfect place for a family vacation! We had 15 people, and had plenty of room, bathrooms, & places to sleep. The games and activities for the kids & grown-ups were so much fun in the evening. We had lots to do when we weren't at the river. We drove to the water each day. River Road is narrow & busy for walking. We took a few cars, paid to park, & hung out at the river each day. It was nice to have a store in walking distance for ice, water, & anything else we needed. The property and home were beautiful with lots of extras!! The owners were very nice and quick to answer any questions.

Property was great! Easy Access down to crossing. Plenty of room for a group of Ten. Kitchen is a hair on the small side but not a problem or deal breaker. Great amenities like cornhole, darts, volleyball.

This house is perfect for a large group! There are plenty of things to do outdoors at the house for kids and large groups. There is a large porch to sit on and watch the deer come up while you drink coffee in the mornings. The kitchen is stocked very well with utensils and appliances. They have a Blackstone griddle outside that is so great to cook breakfast and dinner on! (I even ordered one while I was there) The house is very clean and big and the beds are very comfortable. I like the bunk bed room to put all the kids in one room. The property owner was very easy to get a hold of if needed. We took a trip with friends to get our teenagers out of the house and into the water. The location is perfect! The river and store are literally walking distance! Even though we went when the river was low, we were still able to find things to do. I suggest going to Garner State Park even if you can only get evening passes! We went from 5:30-10 and it was perfect. There are plenty of rope swings and deep water for the kids. We also went to Neal's Lodge. You can get a day pass there and hang out all day at the slides and deep water. And we also went to Seven Bluffs crossing to the gravel bar. We found that there are plenty of shade trees on the river for you to just put your chairs in the water and hang out while the kids are able to play. We absolutely loved this house and location! We will be back.

We loved our stay! The cabin was cute and roomy. We enjoyed being able to walk down to the river and the frio store, but also have our privacy set back from others. You can't beat drinking coffee on the wrap around porch while watching deer in the morning! The large spaces outside and games were a hit with our family and kept us engaged together! Blackstone was also a great bonus, helping to make cooking and cleaning up a breeze! Look forward to coming back!

Good communication. Easy check-in and check-out. Fully accommodated our group. Full size bunks are a little strange. Climbing bunk ladders puts you very close to ceiling fan. Would be nice if lodge had a dishwasher. Kitchen table light had lots of cobwebs. Kitchen sink and upstairs bathroom had very limited water pressure. Overall enjoyed the lodge and would book again if in the area. With 15-20 minute drive of Garner State Park

The Log Cabin on River Road is amazing! It’s a great value and probably more than you expect for most rentals in Concan. The kitchen was well appointed, the outdoor games were unparalleled, the cooking options were great, the layout was super functional, The Owners were AMAZING to deal with, check in was a flawless.... I really can’t find a thing to say negatively about this property. Thank you guys again for a great trip! I’m grateful to be your first review and look forward to renting again next year!
