Hot water dysfunction

We blew a tyre on the unsealed road. The owner drove out and assisted us. She then cooked dinner for us. The following morning, she arranged tyre check in WW. This was exceptional service and kindness and was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful country stay, peace and quiet. We took up the offer of dinner which was beautiful. Dinner was a Great option as its not close to amenities. Will definitely stay again.

Can't say we disliked anything.

Great location, quiet. Could see every star in the sky. The owners were lovely and could not have been more helpful. Beds were comfy and facilities clean and well looked after. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quick over night stay or even that longer bit of time away from it all.

We did not get our breakfast. However, everything was excellent!!!!! The only thing I was disappointed about was we did not get to see, or cuddle, any baby lambs. Thank you very much Liz!!!!!

Comfy beds, spacious areas, overall very comfortable and homey. Staff were amazing, welcoming and informative. Overall a very positive experience, would recommend and would stay again.

travel into property on a dirt road needed caution after rain but was OK

Mascot Cottage is a hidden gem. A longish section of dirt road into the property good condition) and the drive is so worth it. Well away from the hurly-burly and with a yard of lambs as neighbours! it's an idyllic setting. Liz is such a warm and welcoming host who provided (for small extra cost) a delicious home cooked meal that night- a real essential as you probably don't want to trek back into town and home again in the dark. The living area is cosy but the bedrooms are very spacious. We were two couples and were very comfortable. It was all very clean and the kitchen, which is also small, was very well equipped. We unfortunately had to leave early next day as we could have easily settled in for a peaceful few days.
