The. Host was very kind at the phone
It felt very uncomfortable to get in someone’s house while the owner is not at home. We had not expected that we had to chare the house with the host. That is not clear from the internetinformation. We left and went earlyer home than planned.

Very friendly host who made sure we were made to feel welcome and taken care of. Close to Deal made or ideal as we came to see The Royal Marines Band.

Only minor issue was that there was a bit of limescale in the kettle in our room

We had just a one night stay. Nevertheless Jane our hostess was very kind and friendly.
Roadside parking was possible nearby. Wifi was available (although the booking.cm page says no).

The host was missing in action. Called twice to ask questions. Phone was not answered and messages not replied to.
The bathroom was downstairs at the opposite end of the house. I had to walk through the common areas to use the toilet - very uncomfortable.

Jane is a friendly, kind, hostess who makes her guests very welcome. Her home is charming and well situated to explore a lovely part of the country.
Breakfast was not included in the price.

Quiet location with roadside parking nearby. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The shared facilities were well equipped and it was nice to have an outdoor space in which to sit.

The host was very welcoming. The cottage is tiny but very well furnished and decorated. We did not have breakfast, so we cannot comment on that.
The road has a surprising amount of traffic. The double glazed window must be shut to keep out the noise. Victorian insulation means that the room gets hot and stuffy in summer. It faces east. Bathroom visits must be planned as the house has only one for hostess and guests. Parking is on-street with no reserved place. We found space with no difficulty.

The night was hot but our room had Fan to cool down.
It helped as lot as one of the hottest day of the week 30 Daytime 24 in the evening

Jane was a great hostess. A lovely little spot to base ourselves for the long weekend. Great location next to Walmer station, even though we drove, we ended up using the train for Deal in the evenings.

Jane the landlady was welcoming , friendly and helpful. We definitely would recommend her to friends and family.

Perfect location, close to Walmer train station and close to Deal too. Beautiful and big clean house. Jane was very nice showing us around and giving us some indications of where to go and what to visit.

Very friendly accommodating host. It is a house share. The room and bathroom were very clean and there were plenty of towels as well as bath gels provided. There is good internet. Tea, coffee and water provided. Located close to the station and bus stops.
As this is a Victorian cottage the bathroom is an extension to the property and is attached to the kitchen which involves walking through the hosts living space which could be somewhat disconcerting. Bathrobes are provided. There was also nowhere to hang clothes as the wardrobe was full. It also seemed impossible to raise the blind

Jane was friendly - without too much fuss [which sometimes happens :-) - and efficient and very helpful.
This is just because I am poor, and I know what the market dictates, but £100 / night is somewhat steep.
