This is an excellent property. It’s close to the beach in a family friendly neighborhood. It’s also within walking distance to downtown Dewey and short bike ride to downtown Rehoboth. The decor of the house is amazing. It’s put together purposefully and with care. We would definitely rent this property again.

The house is all-new construction and pretty much everything is pristine. The cleaning crew did a great job, everything was spotless when we arrived. We paid the extra fee to bring our dog and appreciated having the fully fenced backyard available so we could just let her out without a lease. Dewey lets dogs on the beach morning and evening and we really enjoyed having those walks and meeting the other dogwalkers. Location is a quiet neighborhood a block and a half from the beach and about 10 mins walk to the heart of Dewey with all the restaurants and bars. Owners were very communicative and responsive. We had one complaint about an issue with the fridge water filter and the owners offered to drop off bottled water and ice to make sure we were comfortable. Overall we had a great experience with the property and the owners, highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this house. Property manager is awesome. Beautiful decor, fit for a magazine shoot. Short, comfortable walk to the beach. Top notch all around.

Solid place, good property management

The house is cute but needs lots of updating and maintenance. As the house is surrounded by trees, we experienced a large amount of spiders and bugs throughout our stay, not quite what we were expecting. Some external trimming to access the backyard, and exterminating inside would have improved our stay.

Perfect spot for relaxing at the beach with family and friends. It had all we needed and more.

As luck would have it , we chose the 2 nd week in May and the weather was horrible . Heavy winds, rain and cloudy skies , temps didn’t get out of the 50’s . We managed a good time, none the less . Our only complaint was that the heater in the combination kitchen, living room (open plan area ) wasn’t adequate for the space . In warm , sunny weather , it would be a good place !!

Location is super convenient. I can definitely see how one could stay here and be able to get around totally by bike. The property itself was clean and bright. The screened in porch was awesome. The yard was nice and great for our dog to run around in. It was unseasonably cold when we stayed (mid-April), and the Property Manager Jordan reached out to us preemptively with some tips and tricks. We appreciated that. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet location, easy walk to the beach. Appreciate that this property allows dogs. For the price we paid (which now seems like a lot) it would have been nice if basic necessities like toliet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, soap etc were provided. I have stayed at a lot of vrbo properties in the past and have never had to think about bringing those items with me. I get the linens, but the others items should be included.

We decided last minute to do a little getaway with our fur baby. Luckily this location was available! I loved the cozy home with all of the natural light and fell in love with the location (so much so that I think I need to find a property for sale). The location is a woodsy, quiet little neighborhood that is one and a half blocks from the beach, a few blocks from Dewey Beach restaurants and about a mile to the shops and restaurants in Rehoboth. It was a wonderful family trip with our pup!!

1 1/2 blocks from the beach in a quiet residential neighborhood. it was different with the breezeway being separate from the main part of the house but we got used to it.

We spent a month at this cool cottage in the forgotten mile. It felt like a camp ground with the wonderful pine trees for shade, but just 1 block to the beach. Nice, quiet street. The house was nice, clean, cute decor. It’s been said in other posts about the breezeway access, but I found it ideal for older kids / teens and guests for privacy. The hosts were very accessible and attentive. I’d rent there again.

The house is much bigger than it looks online, it’s in great shape.

Wonderful stay, relaxed atmosphere and delighted to waking up to the sounds of birds in the garden. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with consideration of covid. Distance to beach was very walkable as was walkability to fresh market where you could have breakfast or lunch. Loved the screened porch. The first night we were there our little dog sat out there by herself listening to the sounds in the yard. I could tell she loved it. An extra key for the adjoining wing of the house would be good to have. Overall, a great experience.

Great location and the whole process was easy. But lord, that place has seen a lot of wear and tear. Not really complaining but you can probably get better for less.

One block from the beach. Interesting layout of the bedrooms. 2 rooms are connected to the screen porch. For us was perfect however not good for families with kids. Great people to work with and had everything we needed. We will be back!

Beachy decor without being over the top. Wonderful and private screen porch (highlight of house)!! Beds you can actually sleep comfortably in! Pleasant and well supplied kitchen. 1.5 block - very short walk - to beach. Fantastic farm market around the corner (Fifer’s). Easy walk into town of Dewey; very pretty (past Silver Lake) but slightly longer walk to town of Rehoboth. Responsive property manager. Bathrooms are fine but nothing special. Most important alert is that 2 of the 3 bedrooms are off a breezeway connected to screen porch vs. connected to main living area. You lock the doors directly to the screen porch from inside the bedrooms, and the main living area also locks to the screen porch. Nice for trustworthy teens or grown-up companions (for privacy), but this layout may not be ideal for small children from a safety perspective.

We had a great week at this property. The location is perfect, just over a block away from the beach. Communication with the property manager was excellent and it was easy to access the house. It was very clean and we were able to bring our small dog which we loved. In my opinion, this house works best for folks with adult family members or older teens because the enclosed part of the house has a master bedroom with en suite, and one "great room" that includes the den, kitchen and eating area. The rest of the house is off a screened in breezeway which is where you will find another bathroom and two more bedrooms, so you have to lock yourself into those bedrooms at night. Just something to think about if you have smaller kids. We have older teens so it was fine for us, and my mom stayed in the room next door to them. Overall it was a great week and we loved the "camp" vibe of the houses in that immediate area. Easy to run or bike to both Rehoboth and downtown Dewey and to head to either town for dinner or shopping.
