Extremely nice family managed resort.
A quiet and picturesque place in the mountains above the city of Deharadun. Exquisitely designed and huge rooms. Excellent and kind staff. Highly recommended for a relaxing and romantic vacation.

Felt the manager took my American dollars and used the remainder as a tip with out giving anytime to think about a tip.

The place is on the outskirts of Dehradun, quiet and calm, away from the city buzz. A perfect getaway that I and our family were looking for. The staff is way too courteous and the food is amazing. We couldn't ask for more during our stay. The staff and manager were quick to pick up our requests and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The guided trek into the mountains that ended with having Maggie at one of the local shops was the highlight of our stay.
Nothing specific to mention about. The hotel was value for money.

They must add better and more efficient laundry services.

The property is really beautiful
The food needs to be improved. The breakfast spread had 2 items - chhole bhature and poha. That too not good and cold and laid out very poorly like in a dharmshala. The dinner was good but high on salt and oil. So food wise the stay is not sustainable.

It is an exceptional place.. The location is perfect, the rooms huge and the small personal touches of the hostess are visible all around the resort. The food is super and the staff very courteous. Highly recommended if one is looking to get away for some peace and quiet.

The staff truly ensured that our little pet dog was well taken care of along with which the manager and shekar were exceptionally in guiding us to ensure we have the best vacation as a family. Truly grateful to the team and their warm smiles in making this one of the best trips for us! Will definitely visit again :)

Pathetic quality of food
Lousy spread of breakfast - Consistent in its mediocrity. Our sambar had hints of sugar, watermelon juice was clearly sweetened artificially, idlis were hard like a sourdough bread and the parathas were tasteless / too oily. We had paak paneer and dal tadka for lunch - we were unable to digest the greasy food and had to skip our entire dinner. Even the kids couldn’t finish their khichadi. I wouldn’t touch the food served here from a mile away.

I loved the fact that the staff made our stay so comfortable. We were travelling with our 10 month old baby whose needs were attended to with such care, including the cleaning of the room and preparation of special food.

The COVID protocols were not properly followed
Also the resort is very small and there are hardly any activities in the resort. Considering that this is so removed from the city there should be some activities in the resort to engage the guests.
