Beautiful, we’ll maintained house - every inch of the house (indoors and out) is maximized for utility and comfort. Absolutely the most well-appointed and well-stocked of any vacation hours we’ve ever rented - every staple already on hand. Great location, great place, great owners, etc!

We had an amazing vacation celebrating a sweet 16 and family. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. I recommend this home highly. The living area was clean and they thought of everything from games to cooking needs. We enjoyed the pool , finding shark teeth, long walks and biking. The ping pong table was wonderful. This house was beyond our expectations.

First thought is I would definitely recommend booking this house with Trudy, as it was perfect for us. We were looking for a typical beach vacation with a location that was almost beach front but also included a private pool. We had a family of two children and 4 adults stay for a week. The beach was less than a 2 minute walk from the house, as the access point was just across the street. The town activities like food, fun, shopping etc was either a 5 minute drive south or 5 minute drive north depending on where you wanted to go. The house itself was very accommodating and it was exactly as described. The check in process was easy and the checkout process was easy and the short list of 8-10 items was reasonable. All four of the bedrooms were nice as they had basic furnishings but still roomy enough for luggage, pack and play, etc. The living room/dining room/kitchen was nice because of the open concept and H style house setup. There was a screened in patio deck out front, and then an uncovered deck out back. The neighbors on both sides were around but no bother at all. Overall the house had mostly everything we needed to get going including most kitchen items for cooking a variety of meals at the house. For beach days, there were plenty of chairs, kids toys, boards, a wagon, etc. For the backyard pool there were also plenty of floating devices and toys. In house entertainment included smart TV's, puzzles, games, books, etc.

This was our 3rd year in a row staying over the New Year holiday. Once again, everything was perfect. Can’t wait to go back next year!

The property was everything we hoped for, and then some! Everything you could want for a stay at the beach was there. Even had a set of cornhole that we took advantage of. The owners literally thought of everything that a family could want to make for a worry free vacation. It was simply great.

This property is very nice! Plenty of amenities, kitchen well stocked, beach chairs, pool floats, towels and lines provided. I’m a quiet location and just a short walk to the public beach access. Great place for a home away from home.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We loved the location. The beach access is very close by. We loved the pool and sitting on the screened in porch listening to the ocean waves. Our dogs had a great time too! The only downside is that the yard is not fully fenced along the thatch and trees. But, we were able to make it work so that our escape artist dog didn't get out. We highly recommended this vacation rental. We would love to come back again.

Family beach trip with small kids and grandparents. Beach access is right across the street. You can see the ocean from the front porch. Pool was perfect for a post beach afternoon swim. Several restaurants and gift shops in Surf City. Lots of fun at family bingo night at the Topsail Historical Society. House is well kept and as experienced beach trippers we highly recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We enjoyed this home. Everything and everyone was all together (bedrooms, living space all on same level). We will be returning next year!!

From arrival to departure ShoreBreak was the ideal vacation! Trudy and Mark were super indulging hosts with our questions, requests, all of their amenities and accommodations. The pool was a delightful addition to the house and its proximity to the beach. The house was serenely decorated, SUPER clean, cozy, and created the perfect at-home atmosphere. Shorebreak had EVERYTHING we needed, from EVERY toiletry imaginable, to bed linens, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, pool toys, boogie boards and even cornhole, let alone all the cooking utensils, plates and serve ware we needed for breakfasts, lunches and a few dinners 'at home'. Their recommendations and excitement about the island not only made us equally excited but were perfect for us - 4 teenage boys with my husband and I. We attempted to experience as much as we could but with the luxuries and location of this amazing home, we will need to come back for more of Topsail! 💕 Can't wait until our next visit to Shorebreak!

This was our first time staying in Surf City, we typically have stayed on the North end of the Island. What a nice quite location it was. The beach house was fantastic. Very clean, spacious, well-kept and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We loved the fact that the owners provided linens, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, kitchen basics and beach towels. The storage room was filled with everything needed for a day at the beach. We were even greeted with a welcoming package from Trudy & Mark. Access to the beach was right across the street which made it so easy with the grandkids. The pool was great especially the shallow end which was great for the grandkids and the screened in porch was a plus for eating dinner and relaxing in the evenings. Trudy was very attentive and accommodating to all our needs. She was quick to respond and even provided recommendations for dining and places to take the grandkids. We really appreciated Trudy & Mark's hospitality, they truly thought of everything. I am so glad we chose ShoreBreak for our vacation! We were so impressed with the entire experience we have already booked our vacation for next year. I believe we have found a new beach home for our family to vacation at. Thanks again Trudy & Mark!

This property delivered on all points...comfort, fully stocked kitchen, games, heated pool and close proximity of the beach. It was the perfect setting for our family especially with toddlers. The owners were very responsive and helpful!

We had a wonderful time at Trudy’s property. It was a beautiful spot. The house was clean, provided linens and towels were clean. It was steps from the beach and the heated private pools was perfect for the late April weather and ocean temp. Trudy was helpful with suggesting some things to do and places to eat. It was such a relaxing week and so nice to get away to such an easy destination.

We had a great experience staying here, it was right by the beach, super clean, small touches (definitely overpacked!), and Mark/Trudy we’re awesome - very responsive and wanted you to have a great time! Thanks for letting us stay, we look forward to coming back!

The property was amazing and all you need with its own private pool and a hop and skip away from a very roomy beach. Topsail Island itself is beautiful with a pier and many beach amenities to enjoy. If you’re looking to do some shopping or eat at a familiar chain restaurant, you’ll only need to travel about 40 mins north or south.

Do not hesitate to book this absolutely wonderful property! Owners are thoughtful, attentive to every detail and very quick to respond. The house itself is stunning, clean and newly remodeled. We had the best time walking across the street to the beach, lounging in the pool and hanging out on the screened in porch. The house is also equipped with all sorts of beach/pool toys that our toddler loved. The kitchen is fully stocked too! You will feel very comfortable and so glad you booked this property! Our family was way overdue for a vacation! With last minute planning, work schedules and daycare/school, I was able to find ShoreBreak on VRBO. The house was clean, neat and a perfect size for our family. The pool was great for the kids and the access across the street to the beach made walking with our beach equipment very easy. The front screened in porch was so nice too when the clouds rolled in. We are very pleased with our stay and would choose this house again if we decided our family vacation will be in Topsail! Three High School friends reuniting to celebrate the life of one who passed with her friends and family this weekend and we couldn't have been any luckier in booking our stay here. With all of three of us having had 40+ years of beach vacay rental homes, we were in agreement this was the best experience most of us had ever had in our lives. My family and friends enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and convenient to the beach. All kitchen supplies that you would need are there. Owners always responded to any messages I sent in a timely manner.

This house was clean as a whistle and as comfortable as home. The children loved the pool. The adults were so happy that Trudy thoughtfully provides linens, beach towels, kitchen basics plus spices, food wrap, etc. which makes trip planning so much easier. We’ve stayed in lots of VRBO houses over the years, and these hosts are the best. We’ll be back.

The only one thing I was upset about when I booked my trip was the fact it was advertised having a pool and hot tub that’s why I choose the property, after I booked and paid somewhere along the line the hot tub was removed and therefore I probably wouldn’t of paid that much but it was advertised having a pool abs hot tub which were the selections I requested when making my beach rental decision but the house was beautiful nice and clean
