The house was really nice. We loved the view and the pool. The jacuzzi was nice but was not fully operational. The game room was really nice but it had a strong smell as if it had recently been bug sprayed. The rack for the pool sticks fell off the wall. The pots in the kitchen were really old. And the toilet paper dispenser was not secured on the wall as well. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

A lot of warn out things that need attention, the pics don't accurately represent the state of things. Dishwasher was broken for the duration of our stay, and there were no dish towels to dry dishes. MGMT company couldn't provide more, were told to use bath towels which had a strong smell of laundry detergent fragrance (which we were allergic to).
AC was broken in the game room.
Overall, we had a nice time together and enjoyed the view from the deck.

Came with family and friends. Kids were ages 10-13. Game room was a lot of fun. Video games and darts were a big hit. Pool was nice to cool off in after being on the river all day. Grocery store close by for necessities. Really nice view on the top patio of the lake.
Fire pit was nice, but could use some TLC with the weeds and overgrown grass.
Great stay and would definitely stay again.

Fairly modern house with plenty of room for family gatherings. Rooms were clean and the property was in average condition. Nice pool and hot tub. Porch had plenty of seating with gas grill and view of Canyon Lake.
Several "cosmetic" upgrades should be addressed. Pool gate had no lock; we found a bungee cord that sufficed. Pool hose has a leak and is wasting a lot of water for the owner. Kitchen had sufficient plates/silverware. Pots were fine but pans need to be replaced! Cooking sheets were coated with rust. One tea maker in the pantry had not been cleaned, very gross mold. Small drip coffee maker filter had not been cleaned, mold growing on old coffee grounds. House pics showed a large drip coffee make but there was none. Keurig coffee maker was now there. Dishwasher worked but was not physically connected to the counter top and was mobile. Windows facing the lake had not been cleaned. Downstairs refrigerator was not working.
All of this falls on the cleaning staff; they are not doing their job. We were told at the last minute that the AC in the game room was not working. This was not an issue, but we should have been given more notice. If this rental house was given a deep cleaning, inside and out, it would be an excellent rental.

Celebrating 40th bday girls weekend. The stove top only had 2 working burners - the dishwasher smelled like sewer when we opened it. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Only one old skillet and one 1 qt pot to cook.
Extra blankets and pillows were not clean. The Pac-Man and other game did not work.Propane tank for patio fire pit was empty the rental company brought one the next day.
The layout of the house was great it just wasn’t as advertised considering the cleaning fees I was charged.

The pictures are great, but the property is actually more beautiful than shown in the pictures.
We did not have any pets or children with us, but there is a mother-in-law type suite downstairs, which would have been perfect if we did need to have a little separation.
The view from the balcony is perfect. The overall set up of the property in general is fabulous. And the neighborhood is so peaceful we barely even heard another vehicle drive by.
We will absolutely return in the near future!

The house has so much built in entertainment you don’t need to leave. The view of the lake off the main kitchen/living area is breath taking, and it boasts enough sleeping space for 2 families. It’s minutes from two grocery stores, the beach, marina, & dam, and has multiple dining experiences within 30 minutes. Such a great location just 30 minutes from San Marcos, Gruene, & San Antonio. This was our second stay at this property as it has it all!

The view of the lake from the deck and inside the house was incredible! It was decorated nicely. The game room was fun and was super cool. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. After looking at many of the rentals I really thought this one had the best layout and amenities.
The only cons to this rental was the cleanliness of the kitchen cabinets and the kitchen was not equipped as much as It could of been. The showers could use some bleach to kill the mold. Overall we enjoyed our stay.and would stay here again.

First, there were several things the owners could not control. They couldn't control the 37-degree morning of our stay. They couldn't control the open fire ban in the county. They had the hot tube and pool running which the teenage boys with me used for a polar plunge after a game of horse. The hot tub topped out at 99.
The place was /clean and my boys had a great time.
We were going to rent a boat for swimming but the lake was way too cold and the water level was low. I saw one boat on the lake while we were there.
The game room was great and kept the boys occupied. From darts to the nice addition of a pac-man video game, the game room provided lots of late-night fun. The house had plenty of board games, card decks, and places to play.
Overall, good house for us to stay. We would like to have used the fire pit for a fire to sit around (no open flames) but the couch area had a propane-fed table with fire in the center which allowed us to sit around and talk and joke.

Great amenities!! Beautiful view of the lake. The pool, hot tub and game room will keep everyone entertained. The house was clean but all the glass surfaces were just wiped and so there were cloudy areas when trying to look at the lake. Also the living room furniture needs steam cleaning and the carpet on the stairs desperately needs removing. These are suggestions to get a five. If you are looking for a place where kids and teenagers will have a blast....this is it!!

This is a wonderful property. Pool, hot tub and deck area were perfect - clean and well maintained. View of lake is great. Very close to the best grocery store in the area and the lake.

Awesome location, great view. Very good spaces for family, quite and has a game room
Improvements: when we got to the property, the house was not completely clean. Some of the kitchen utensils and general area of the kitchen needed another cleanup. Upon contacting property management, they ended up sending another cleaning crew to resolve some of the issues

Quiet & relaxing
It was a beautiful property my family enjoyed staying at. We really loved the view and pool & were able to bbq on the patio it was great. It’s such a good place to relax and enjoy quiet time. With no city interruptions. The game room was a nice addition but it gets really hot in there, even with the AC we didn’t stay in long when we did go in. I appreciated the restroom soaps & number of towels to swim.
The issues we had were that the code I received didn’t work when we arrived , and had to call customer service while standing outside. Also, the cleanliness of the home needed improvement considering the fee they charge for clean up. The pans in the kitchen cabinets had dried up cooked food on them it was kind of disgusting. We left those because it was not our mess to begin with. But we did clean anything else we used.
Also , the vents in the room are full of clumped up dust and the tables & counters looked like they were wiped with a dirty cloth. I had to wipe everything down again.
But as for the property it was beautiful

Nice getaway!
Stayed at Scenic Terrace for a girls' weekend with my daughters. Lovely place and it felt very secluded, even though we weren't far out. Too cold for the pool, but we enjoyed the firepit and the hot tub. Would be great for a family vaca during the summer. Beautiful view!

A few small things
The house was nice. View was beautiful. The only thing with the house it needs a little more maintenance. Fans on patio missing blades. Railing lose on upstairs patio. Hot tub worked but had a bad odor. Like chemicals are not kept up.( we were afraid to use it) Kitchen was low on utensils and pots and pans.(if you cook inside). All in all a nice house.

Fall Break with friends
Great view of Canyon Lake and awesome back yard!! Nice home for our two families to spread out in. There are several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. One section of the second story back porch railing wasn’t bolted down and was unsecured. Our bedrooms fan/light didn’t work at all. Was not messy nor filthy. However wasn’t cleaned really well? Our toilet wasn’t very clean, the floors were sticky, the oven/stovetop burners were really dirty. Didn’t feel like the cleaners are wiping things down as they should be and rushing. Hated to complain but owners should be aware of job cleaners are doing. These issues are an easy fix! Shouldn’t prevent others from booking as I’m sure owners will make sure these issues are addressed once they are made aware ☺️

Relax!!
My stay was great! Had so much fun at the house and at canyon park! Enjoyed the view in the morning and the evening! Hot tub was bomb!! Kids enjoyed the pool n hot tub! Everyone was happy with our weekend at canyon lake! We look forward to coming back..

Great view and fun place for a group
The view was absolutely wonderful. Having the pool and hot tub with the view was fantastic. We had an issue with ants while we were there but the property manager sent someone out immediately to take care of it. Super close to Canyon lake and the house has great space for a large family or group of friends.

Getaway
This was our first girls “cousin” weekend getaway and we had a blast. We definitely made beautiful memories and felt very much at home at this property! We will be back for sure 💞

Great porch and views
I stayed at this house with a group of women on a friends weekend. Having 3 bathrooms was very nice. The deck is higher up and has an awesome view and was nice and breezy - better than the usual texas heat on the ground. The kitchen was fairly well appointed - could have used a cutting board and more silverware. The pool worked out fine, but the pump stopped working and the water got very funky while we were there. So we didn't use it much. The basement room hears quite a bit of noise from AC, pipes, people walking above. But overall it was a great house for a group getaway.

This property was perfect for my bachelorette getaway with life long friends! Lots of space to spread out. Would have loved to have had warmer weather to enjoy the pool - next time!

Great rental!
My family and I enjoyed our stay here for Spring Break. The property was just as pictured, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The view was breathtaking!! We wanted a place that our family could just reset and enjoy some quality time together and that's exactly what we were able to do here. It was perfect! The pool was a favorite-even with a chilly day. We were surprised at how big the property is and how private it felt. I definitely would recommend this property and my kids are already begging to go back!

As it’s lots of smaller towns, we found things often weren’t open during the week until Wednesday so just be aware when planning your stay. We got our check in info in a timely manner as well as a courtesy call the morning of arrival to confirm we had what we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
