We really enjoyed our brief stay. The house is very comfortable and really clean. The walk into town was just the right distance and we walked in both days.
The beds were very comfortable and the house is bright and airy. The communication with the owner was excellent and we did not have any issues. It did not bother us but you can hear the traffic on the bridge. The sea air more than made up for it.

We were a group of college friends celebrating a milestone birthday, and this was a great place to do it! Beautiful house in a beautiful location. The kitchen is well-equipped and Matt was very responsive to our (few) questions. The house is about a 20-minute walk from Jamestown's "downtown" and marina, but you need a car (or bike) to explore the rest of the island. Newport is a toll bridge or ferry ride away.

This property was perfect for our stay. Plenty of space, more than enough bathrooms, lovely location/yard/views. The kitchen was very well stocked and the grill got plenty of use. Oh and loved having an outdoor shower.

Myself, and my friends had a fabulous time at this house. The location is right next to the bridge. Easy access to Newport. We enjoyed the clean home and everyone said their beds were very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and the bathrooms were really nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and the owner labels each drawer so we knew was was where. I loved the view and the back patio was super nice. The lighting in the home from the big windows made all the guests super happy. Matt was very communicative and if I ever had a question he was available to answer. He even left a little goodie box with some wine, snacks and a note! I would love to stay here again. One of the nights we drove 5 minutes to a great restaurant in Jamestown. So close and easy to get around. Overall fabulous stay and would recommend to anyone!

Very nicely remodeled and decorated home. Walking distance to several nice restaurants and pubs in Jamestown. Short drive to many shops, restaurants, etc. in Newport. Definitely worth the stay!

Wonderful home and good location
Stayed here with my family and was very pleased. The home was as advertised, very clean and beautifully decorated. One of my family members was in a powered wheelchair and we were able to get her into the house (front and back) with two portable ramps (one small and the other medium sized) that we brought. Main floor has a one bedroom and bathroom that was accessible. We all enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time staying in Jamestown. The house is beautiful and worked perfectly for our group. It was an excellent place to congregate and convenient to Providence, Newport, and Narragansett. Matt was extremely responsive and helpful. We could not recommend this location enough.

Bridge View
What a great property, from the ease of checking in, to the availability of the property owner, to the pristine condition of the house; everything was top-notch. The beds and linens were hotel-grade, and other amenities were even better than a nice hotel; we felt lucky to stay in such a warm, welcoming home.

This home is on a small piece of land next to the Newport Pell Bridge and overlooking Newport. It's truly a beautiful spot and a lovely place to wake up each morning. We were here in winter so I'd imagine with leaves on the trees the view is a little more obstructed, but regardless the location is great and town center and the pier and beach is a 10 minute walk away. The house is well equipped with everything you need and everything labeled in the kitchen. The grill out back was perfect for cooking up lunch and dinner, and the wraparound porch on the second floor is stunning and makes a great place to relax with coffee or a glass of wine. The bedrooms are spacious and the house had vaulted ceilings with lots of windows to take in the view of Newport in the distance. A very airy and relaxing place to be. The only issues we encountered were a finicky range/cooktop in the kitchen that's difficult to ignite and a kitchen faucet that doesn't swivel to make cleaning up easy. Small stuff really, as our hosts were available to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. I'd definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in Jamestown. It is a hidden gem. The house we stayed at was beautiful. It was extremely clean and well equipped. We even had use of a baby stroller and pack and play. We loved the nearby beaches for a quick swim but the location to the beautiful Newport beaches was great also.
Matt the owner was always quick to respond. It was a perfect stay for our family. The young adults have requested to return again next year.

Matt was great and flexible as we had booked during the last hurricane and didn't have to worry about what mother nature threw at us :) Thanks Matt!

This property is fantastic! A 5 minute walk to town, 8 min drive to the beach, 10 min drive to Newport. The pictures do not do this place justice... its gorgeous! Everything is beautifully updated...the kitchen has coffee makers, toasters and all kinds of utensils, dishes and spices.
The beds are so comfy.. and the rooms are all a great size! The outdoor shower, swing, and ring game-were fam favorites here! This place is 5 Stars and the Thompsons take care of it and you can tell!

Wonderful experience!
This house was amazing, gorgeous, and appears exactly like the photos. The owner was very responsive and wonderful to work with. Our stay included exactly 10 people and the house was still extremely spacious. Would definitely recommend this house for anyone for a weekend getaway to Newport/Jamestown!
