Surrounded by soothing scenery, scent of forest trees, glimpses of wild turkeys and songbirds—that’s our stay at Wander Inn! Come inside to warm up around the fire, cook food in the spacious well-stocked kitchen, sit down to a Christmas dinner table set with water glasses and white china (provided). The kids would say playing table tennis was the best, or skipping stones at the River. The main living area is even more spacious than we had expected just going by pictures. There are very close neighbors but they were friendly and respectful of the vacation rentals in the area, if not guests themselves. The yard is quite small but the neighborhood was very quiet. The only noise was from our own group, wild turkeys gobbling, the wind in the pines, and an occasional dog barking. We enjoyed the rare privilege of seeing a large flock of evening grosbeaks, and a white headed woodpecker. This lovely mountain home gives you a lot for the price.

The cabin is great for a large group. We stayed a couple of days fishing in the morning, cooking and playing cards in the evening. The bedrooms are great, 3 bathrooms offer plenty of privacy and the kitchen was fully stocked. The large table in the dining room makes for great room for everyone in our party to share meals or play games. We loved our stay and we will return for sure.

Garrett was phenomenal at communicating. The location was perfect. Some of the household items were a smidge over used (bbq, knives, etc) but nothing to hinder the stay. Overall, I’d recommend.

My group has gone to golf Graeagle courses for years.. this house was perfect for our group, the main room is much larger then the pictures .. and pool table, deck were awesome ,,, the house is has everything you need,, communication with the owner was an ease, he was quick to respond to questions. 👍👍👍👍

Absolutely beautiful! Great setting! Pictures don’t do it justice. House is immaculate. Well supplied with so many extras. Very roomy for our group. Convenient to small country shops. Lots of great walking to river, fishing and swimming.

My family and I were in Plumas for a wedding. The property was spacious, equipped with everything you need, clean, close to Quincy and Graegle as well as the wedding at Two Rivers. Garret was responsive with my questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were comfortable ,had lots of room and the deck and backyard were perfect for a family gathering to celebrate our beloved mom and grandma. We’ve been camping and hiking in the area for over forty years and absolutely love it!I would definitely stay at the Wander Inn again!

The house and area is beautiful. We came to California for a wedding. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. Even had deer in the back yard. I would buy there if it wasn't in California.

A wonderful house!
The house was spotlessly clean and very well set up for our small group, with plenty of room for everyone. We had everything we needed for meal prep, and the huge dining room table gave us a great place for gathering. Lovely, quiet neighborhood, great for a morning or evening stroll.

This property is awesome. Great house and clean.
One problem is the listing says “events allowed” and “perfect for large family gatherings”. However when setting up for a rehearsal dinner we were contacted by property owner because of a complaint from a neighbor about the set up of a few tables and coolers out back. This miscommunication through the listing on Vrbo was quite irritating and having a neighbor sit on the fence and be rude about us setting up some tables is quite disturbing.
After some messaging with the owner we were able to get it squared away but it is quite stressful an hour before a “large family dinner” to have to deal with a problem like that when already dealing with a wedding setup.
I’d just say beware of the false listing policies and crappy neighbor. But I would not rate this house or owners communication lower because of that. Just a miscommunication in the listings that should be changed.

The plaque on the fireplace, “Gather” summarizes our stay perfectly. Home was spacious and perfect for our family gathering. A beautiful drive heading to the property coming from Reno. And so serene. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of hectic living to decompress and enjoy nature at its best.

We rented this property for a family getaway with some family friends and it was perfect. The house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The linens and towels were clean and plenty of hot water for all. The host was easy to work with and answered all questions. This property has the perfect layout for a multi-family get together. The only difficulty was that it was difficult to get to on the California highways due to the winter snowfall from the previous weekend so be aware of road closures in the winter. Otherwise we Highly Recommend!

If you are looking for a spotlessly clean large house with well designed space, a well appointed kitchen where multiple people can cook at the same time, a huge refrigerator, an exceptional entertainment center with very large TV, a large fireplace, unusually comfortable beds, in a very friendly neighborhood, then this is the place for you. Just a few miles from Graeagle in one direction or in the other, the Plumas Eureka State Park. You can even get plenty of exercise walking around the resort where the house is located. We stayed over Christmas and enjoyed several snow storms, both snowshoeing out in it, and playing cards inside to warm up. The resort's roads are plowed every morning between 9-11am depending on the strength of the storm. In addition you can expect great customer service from the property manager. It's a find!
