The owner was very accommodating. They live onsite and was very helpful and friendly throughout the visit. We had booked out 3 of the rooms and was very spacious and perfect for a group of friends. The area is very nice, being in a small woodlands makes for some really interesting walks, over a weekend we didn't have enough time to explore fully.

We didn't get to see the boar (apparently there is a boar in the woods)

Friendly hosts. On the doorstep to the woods. Very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee provided.

The Building is lovely and the history of the property is great. Everything is pretty newly refurbished. The location is nice and quiet off the beaten track.

The only thing which we noticed was the stairs area up to our bat room often smelt like drains, there was a toilet in this area, but the smell never reached our room which was good.

Property location is very peaceful and remote but not too far to drive to local shops. Great for walking out into the woods from the back door. Accommodation and facilities were very good, ¹well equiped and clean.

The weather ☺

We liked everything, the location, the owners, the walks, the peace and quiet, everything was great. The building is fantastic, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and a shower that you don't want to get out of. Under floor heating that keeps feet toasty. We will be back soon (our 5th time)

Great location for dog walking.

Getting charged £25 for a dog stay when it was only one night.

Gill and her husband were very friendly and informative about the local area without being intrusive. They went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The area was very beautiful with fantastic walks from the front door as well as further out into the forest. The apartment was very nicely renovated with some of the original features kept, and the whole pumping station building was beautiful and fascinating, with a lovely garden to look out over. The short walk to St Anthony's well was beautiful and the well itself idyllic.

We didn't find the seating that comfortable, but that is a very personal thing. Also, the duvet was too short for a tall person! Other than that, the accommodation was great.

Gill and Kate couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming. The apartment was huge with a beautiful kitchen and living room, great bedrooms and bathrooms. It was all sparkling clean. Great walking from the doorstep and town was only a short drive away.

We should have booked to stay another night!
