This property is the best place in the area hands down ! For the amazing place and do many amenities, it's just a steal of a view ! Me andy friends have been up here twice in the last 2 years and plan to do so again soon and we love it ! The owner really communicates to you on time and helps you out with whatever, we needed an extra grill to cookout and he brought it out no problem ! If you want a nice quiet place in the mountains this is the place

Celebrated me and my boyfriend birthday with a road trip here to get away from the stress of life, hike and see some beautiful waterfalls! Enjoyed the coziness of the cabin and the cute set up outside around the fire pit! Got visited by a cute armadillo while relaxing around the fire. It was very peaceful and relaxing here!

We came for a two day valentines getaway. There were valentines mugs and candy waiting for us upon our arrival. It made a believer out of my wife and I for the tiny cabin life on our getaways. It was exactly what we needed in a warm home, cozy fire pit and being so close to everything hiking, canoeing and more that we wanted. Thanj you so much for having this place and I hope to be back again with our kids one day!

Being able to let loose and let kids run around freely and being able to see the stars. It was an amazing weekend. Kids even got to see some elk. Will definitely be back.

Great little space to stay in Compton. Close to trails. All amenities that were needed. Host was responsive and obliging. Will be staying again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tiny cabin! The location is very conveniently located to all our favorite hikes! It was clean and has everything we needed. We had an issue getting warm water and pressure in the shower, but as soon as I messaged the owner about it, he promptly responded with a solution. Our kids loooved sleeping in the lofts. Because of rain we only got to have a fire one night, but it was a great setup for it. We would love to go back when the skies are clear so we can see the stars from this amazing property!

We were thrilled with our stay. It was quiet and peaceful. We were isolated out there which was exactly what we needed. Everything was as described and the place was cozy and comfortable. We look forward to staying there again.

This was the best spot we could have had for our girls weekend of hiking! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor spaces and the view was spectacular, especially the sunrises. So many trailheads within a 2-10 minute drive! It’s definitely tiny and perfect for 2 or a family with a couple of kids. We’ll definitely use this spot again for another weekend of adventuring in the Ozarks!

It was a peaceful place. Getting in and out of the bed was difficult. The hand towel was looked dirty. The pillows on the couch need to be restuffed or thrown away. The outdoor sitting was very relaxing.

The stay here was amazing. I’ve been to this area before but I have never stayed. We will definitely be back! The scenery was beautiful, we even had deer come visit. This spot was very peaceful and was exactly what we needed for a long weekend. The stars were impeccable. I only have a couple of negatives and they are very minor and have nothing to do with the host. The address provided will not take you to the tiny house. If you book this place make sure you screenshot the directions BEFORE starting your trip. Our cell service was spotty and the VRBO app wouldn’t let me open the driving directions so it took us awhile to find it bc our gps took us way down a dirt road. The county is a dry county and so we’re most of the counties we drove through. Make sure you bring any alcohol you may want with you or you can take a short drive to Harrison. The stars were absolutely beautiful. My only negative about the house were the solar powered lights. I wish there would have been a way to turn them off so we could stargaze better. Next time we come we are bringing an air mattress so we can lay outside and watch the stars better!

We had such a great little vacation here! The cabin was so nice and clean and had everything we could need for our stay. It had an amazing view especially from the little patio area. Our host was also very helpful! We had some issues with the water pressure the first day we were there that he fixed while we were out. He even washed all of our dirty dishes for us! We definitely plan to stay here again the next time we are in the area!

I can't remember the last time my husband and I felt as relaxed and peaceful as at our time at the cabin! The cabin feels much bigger than it is, and everything is finished very nicely. The wind blows really hard up there on the mountain. It sounded like a tornado coming the entire time and was difficult to grill with the wind. The atmosphere was great and cozy. Bed was soooo comfortable and the place was very clean!

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in this little cabin on a hill. The view was awesome around the fire pit. The cabin had all basic amenities and the Wifi worked great. Our hikes included Whitaker Point/Hawksbill Crag, Magnolia Falls (we learned of this one from the guest book - highly recommend!) and of course Lost Valley including the Eden Falls cave. We waited out the Buffalo River and hit it at the perfect level of 3.5' and paddled Ponca to Kyle's Landing stopping at Hemmed In Hollow along the way. Perfect week, perfect host!

This cabin is tiny but so much fun! Beautiful views. Clean and neat. Having two TV’s was nice! It rained and snowed while we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the exterior like we wanted but the setup was super nice. The pictures are spot on! We drove 5 mins to Ponca and got to see elk! Tons of hiking trails within 5-10 mins of there and only 30 mins from Harrison. Would definitely go again!
