We loved the home! It’s beautiful, cozy and quiet! Our stay was fantastic and we would definitely stay again! Our only suggestion is that the directions, even using the alternate directions, did not get us to the home. This could be because it was dark. We would suggest giving directions to Circle Drive rather than the large building. Once we found Circle Drive, we found the home easily.

Perfect place to bring the family together, and everything was as it should’ve been. Perfect!

The property was pristine and just as described. The information included was extremely detailed and helped us prepare for our relaxing stay. A short walk down the road takes you to a stunning lake and huge dock where we were able to swim and fish. It took us about an hour to get to Mammoth Caves- we didn’t get to experience the ferry because the water levels were low. Be prepared to do a bit of driving because everything is spread out but it is beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We launched our kayaks from the dock one day and stayed on the lake all day Drove them to the golf cart path then carried them for a short distance but the dock made it super convenient We also swam from dock House was nice and clean and yard was great for sitting outside

This cabin is so wonderfully perfect! Our family of 5 comfortably stayed here for 5 nights. The layout allowed us togetherness with multiple options to have quiet space. The deck seating by the frog pond was our favorite retreat. The lake is a little hike away from the house, but the reward is privacy. It reminded me of undeveloped lakes in Northern Minnesota, but the water was much warmer! The Dollar Tree nearby was helpful for last-minute items. We had a baseball tournament in Elizabethtown, and ultimately wished we had stayed closer as it ended up being a lot of driving on the twisting country roads. We hope to make a return trip with more time to explore the area!

Our stay was beyond exceptional. The property owner, Jason was so incredibly kind and accommodating. He provided us a very detailed overview of the property, how to get to the lake and things to do in the area. The property was clean and inviting and we had the best time. Our kids had a blast fishing and swimming off the dock, which was secluded and the perfect little relaxation spot. I cannot recommend this property enough! If I could give 10 stars I would! Can’t wait to return!

This is our 2nd stay at this property it is wonderful. we have 2 other trips to this property at the lake this year. There is a small goldfish/frog pond, a fire pit and lighted sitting area outside, there is a fireplace, inside 1 1/2 bath, 2 br, hardwood floors, etc. nicely decorated, home away from home.

We stayed here to go adventure Mammoth Cave a little bit of a drive but the Green River Ferry trip and the park itself were fun!! The property was very clean and a good kitchen as you are miles from a restaurant!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We felt welcome and comfortable. I loved the unique furniture pieces, well stocked kitchen, fire pit and the walk to the short water.

We really enjoyed this house. It had everything we needed, plus the outdoor spaces were nice. Bed was comfortable but had a waterproof mattress cover which makes noise every time you move. I understand that is good for cleanliness, just not perfect. The only thing negative I would say is this house is not really "lakefront." You cannot see the lake from the house and the walk to the dock is a little long and precarious. We rented a boat both days and it was easy to find the dock and hang out there as well. Very private which was nice. Overall it was a great stay and I would return.

Very clean cabin with lovely furnishings and décor. Plenty of extras to make it feel like home (pillows, blankets, starter supplies, kitchen tools and cookware). Although you couldn't see the lake from the home it was just a short walk to the dock for swimming and fishing. Kids were super entertained by the frog pond. Loved grilling and relaxing by a campfire with party lights. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The overall experience was excellent. The home is clean, well decorated and comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. My only complaint is there was not a lake view. There’s lake access and great outdoor spaces to use, however.

We had a wonderful experience! The lake access was terrific and so easy to access. The home was well kept, as was the yard. It was quiet and private. The home is located in a perfect location to access the Mammoth Caves, Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace, and we even made the semi-short drive to the Louisville Slugger Museum in Louisville! We were able to rent a boat from the Wax Marina, which was very enjoyable and convenient. The owner was very responsive when I locked myself and family out of the house. He was great to work with and clearly wanted us to enjoy our experience. I would highly recommend this VRBO. Thank you for helping us create more family memories!

We had a relaxing family vacation! We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the lake off the dock which was a short walk from the house. We enjoyed visiting Mammoth Cave as well! The house was well equipped with what we needed. Beds were comfy, everyone slept great!

This house was exactly what we needed, relaxing, clean and in a nice area. We loved exploring Kentucky. Mammoth cave was amazing, we went canoing down the green river, we swam almost daily in the lake. Lake Nolin is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the walk, it's not bad at all. Kentucky is a beautiful state and we'll definitely be back. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The Amish community was a pleasant surprise!

This cabin was very clean and charming. The frog pond provided great entertainment, the kids loved it. I would stay again if ever in Kentucky.

What a great location! The house was spotless and just such a nice place to get away for awhile. It has practically everything you’ll need and with the Dollar General nearby, if you do forget something, the DG or gas station will have it. It’s a cozy place, well decorated and Jason has put a lot of thought into making this lake house a breath of fresh air. Whether it’s deer coming up to the front porch, frogs talking to each other in the small pond or Baltimore Orioles serenading from high above, this location did not disappoint one bit! We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was beautiful and well stocked. It was decorated impeccably. We would love to return for a longer stay in the summer to take advantage of the lake.

Our family of 4 adults stayed here for a weekend getaway. This house did not disappoint it was extremely clean and we had everything we needed to prepare our meals at the house the beds and other furniture were very comfortable. We did not take advantage of the fire pit as it was quite windy during our stay i would highly recommend this home to stay in we stay at VRBO homes frequently and this was the cleanest property we have stayed in

Pros - newly renovated, cleanest place we've ever stayed (no exaggeration). Well stocked in both supplies (oil, salt/pepper, coffee filters) and cookware (utensiles, pots/pans, cutting boards etc.). Nice appliances. Comfortable couches and chairs. Plush towels. Great smart tv with many functioning apps. The only complaint we had were the bed pillows. The bed was pretty firm (which is fine) but the pillows were very flat and seemed cheap. This seemed to be the only area where they cut a corner. Otherwise, the place was perfect.

We had a great week at this property. The host is fantastic. We ran into a little snag and he returned my call within 5 minutes. The house is very clean. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. My kids enjoyed the frog pond and the firepit and string lights were a nice ambiance. No neighbors in sight so it felt very private. The walk down to the lake was our little hike of the day and a fun experience. We went in October, the last week of the season, and there wasn't a soul on the lake or on the docks. We climbed around on the rocks and the kids jumped in the lake while grandma fished. We rented a pontoon boat at Wax Marina 3 minutes away, which was very affordable and a nice experience. There is a Dollar General down the street and a gas station, but besides that, you have to drive 30 minutes into town for a real grocery store or any restaurants. We went to Mammoth Caves and took the ferry- I believe it was about a 25 minute drive. If you take the freeway AKA long way, it will be more like 50 minutes. We did the Domes & Dripstones tour which was cool. We also went to Diamond Caverns which is completely different than Mammoth Caves and both are a MUST-SEE! Overall, if you want a private vacation house with a rural feel that is super duper close to the lake I would highly recommend this property. The host is fantastic and the place is super clean. I am easily grossed out by dirty places and this wasn't one of them. Glad I picked this place to stay at! Thank you!

We enjoyed a great weekend at this cabin. It was clean, had great outdoor space, and the owner was very prompt with communication and answering questions.

We had a great time. House is adorable, clean and comfortable. Kitchen has all The cooking utensils, pot and pans you need. Jason the owner promptly responded to all questions. Our granddaughter loved watching the beautiful frogs in the pond.
