Magical is how everyone described the property. The host was super responsive. The place really is amazing.

We have rented many VRBO properties and this location, home amenities and communication with the owners was impressive. Thank you Stephanie and Ryan for your over the top hospitality. We greatly appreciated the fully stocked stocked kitchen pantry, coffee bar, snacks when we arrived and a truly exceptional peaceful location. Everyone in our family was so impressed and delighted. Pictures don't do this property justice! We were all nearly speechless when we arrived. Such serene beauty! We spent hours outside on the covered patio, marveling at the view. We never got tired of watching the sun glisten upon the pond and the trees and sky reflected in its peaceful water. We gathered around the big table for cards, or sat in the chaise lounge and watched the kids at Corn Hole or on the swings, or even down at the dock, gliding along in their kayaks. We all enjoyed kayaking and canoeing. Our swimmers loved it. When we were feeling extra energetic, we hit the professional-sized and gleaming gym for some Pickle-ball or basketball, and ended our day gathered around the fire pit and soaking in the jacuzzi. The children watched movies in the big screen theatre. The speakers are amazing, and the sound is incredible. It was so gorgeous and the amenities so wonderful, it was tough to leave the property for day hikes or fishing on the Bitterroot River. But we did--everything is close to the property, even though it's secluded and serene--and we were glad to have discovered and gotten to know Montana better. We were at maximum capacity and the spaciousness of the lodge gave us plenty of room to explore and enjoy. You honestly can't spend a bad minute here. The hosts have generous supplies on hand and a stocked pantry. The kitchen and dining areas are huge. If we needed anything, the response was immediate and complete. Our best family vacation!

We had a really great time at the house - multigenerational family reunion. The house was so well stocked and they had everything we needed and more. The location was convenient and the views were breathtaking.

So many positive aspects to this property. Stephanie was very responsive and delivered the couple items needed for our stay. I really loved having household supplies ready for use. We utilized most of the activities and had plenty to do while getting dinner and such. I would like to mention that it can be awkward for mixed families or friends to share the one bathroom downstairs where most bedrooms are located. It isn't quite clear where the bedrooms and baths are located on each floor. I would highly recommend making the "office" another bedroom since it had a full bath. We enjoyed the grilling and cooking with a very equipped kitchen! Check-in and out was easy too! Thanks for the hospitality.

Pictures don’t capture the amazing beauty of this home and property. You have to visit to fully understand how special this home is. Stephanie and Ryan are so helpful and are very quick to respond to any question regarding restaurants, activities, house info, etc. The back patio is where you’ll want to spend all your time. Our group consisted of 10 people ages 17 months to 76 years and this home was perfect for all of us. From the perfectly stocked coffee bar, to the large kitchen, plenty of sitting areas, comfortable bedrooms, and super cool gym… we were more than happy to stay at the home most of our trip. Whatever your interests- outdoor activities, family bonding, indoor relaxing, outdoor exploration… this home has it all. We were all sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!

There were 10 of us ranging in age from 72 - 2.5 years old. Plenty of room and activities for all. The gym was a unique bonus. Water activities, hiking within a beautiful setting made for a perfect vacation. The hosts were extraordinarily responsive. Loved it.

Beautiful property with plenty of amenities to entertain all ages! Our large group enjoyed relaxing on the patio (beautiful view), cooking our meals in the large kitchen, paddling kayaks on the pond, jumping off the dock, relaxing in the hot tub, playing beach volleyball, and more! We had a family pickle ball tournament in the gym, played lots of basketball, and even some dodgeball! We utilized the coffee bar daily and we also enjoyed the movie room for late night relaxing. Too many amenities to list! Great location as well- hiking, rafting, horseback riding are all accessible. Stephanie and Ryan were very attentive- they even facetimed us when we needed help working the property wide music system. Would recommend to any large group.. I’m sad I had to leave!

Every inch and every ounce of this house is utter perfection. I swear to you that the listing doesn’t do it justice…and the listing is pretty good! The view out back is absolutely outrageous. Tons of games and activities to do on or off the water. The kitchen is absolutely splendid. Giant double islands made cooking and hanging out the place to be. We went with our entire family…and there was space to be together..or even *not* to be together if that’s what was needed 😉. Spices, pantry items and even sunscreen all at the ready! We loved the fire pit, the covered patio and the kids LOVED the trampoline. The town of Hamilton is adorable. The town of Darby is even cuter. We loved lake Como and the bitterroot forest! We were able to get ahold of Stephanie day and night. She was always at the ready to give a cheerful answer. Bathrooms aplenty. I feel like I could write a book about the absolute perfection that was this property. Oh and the GYM! Oh man did the dads and teens love the gym. If you can afford this…DO IT! You won’t regret it a single second. It was a magical week together.

This property is even more beautiful and comfortable than advertised. Huge country home and grounds with perfect details and amenities considered. The full sized basketball court/gym is over the top. We couldn’t have spent a better week together with families/kids. Hosts gave us fantastic recommendations for outdoor adventures and meals. They were thoughtful to share every comfort possible and quickly responded for even small questions. Location is pristine at the base of the Bitterroot mountains and convenient to explore in all directions. The place itself is so perfect and has so many indoor/outdoor sports, it was hard to leave for day trips. This place spoiled us for future vacations!

Amazing! Worth every penny. I will be back. We had 14 family members there. All ages. There was plenty of room and lots of activities. My kids did not want to leave the property. The location is perfect. Unlimited hiking and fishing near by. Hamilton is a great little town

What an exquisite rental! Beautiful facilities, stunning environment, and the best of hosts! Stephanie and Ryan were able to respond to our questions/requests immediately. The pristine private grounds surpassed our highest expectations. And the gym in the 'barn'! Our 14-year-old grandson looked around and said, "Yes! I want one of THESE for Christmas!" We'll be back, oh yes, we'll be back!

WOW---What a piece of paradise this property is!!! We easily give this property 5+ stars! The homeowners deserve 10+ stars of their own, for their incredible kindness, hospitality, and really going above and beyond to make our stay so wonderful!! We could not have felt more welcome during our stay at this property. It was so thoughtful to have so many of the basic amenities available at the property. That helped SO much, so we did not have to get every single small item needed during our stay. Many items were already stocked and available for us, and we were very, very grateful for that!! The theater room was a hit too, the couch is so comfortable and they had the most comfy blankets to lounge in there. We had full access to every TV or movie app you could ever ask for, that was such a bonus, because we do not have subscriptions to all of those. The property is as good as it gets for a private getaway with 1 or multiple families. Our stay was just after Christmas and the homeowners asked us if we would like them to keep the holiday decorations in the home and we said yes! When we walked in, it was so beautifully decorated, Christmas décor, beautiful floral arrangements, and the home even smelled so good!! The gym with a full basketball court was beautiful, inside and out, and we enjoyed playing basketball, badminton, and pickle ball!! The views from every window of the house were breathtaking—definitely more amazing to see in person. If it was snowing, it was relaxing to watch the snowflakes coming down, especially with a cup of hot chocolate, tea, or coffee. The kids had a blast putting snow in cups and making their own snowcones! The coffee maker, with all of the flavors, was so fun for all of us to try! If the weather was clear, the mountain views from both the front and back of the property were stunning! The homeowners were available to answer any question at all and were so helpful with everything, such as putting up the net in the gym or having the driveway plowed right away when it snowed. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with others and making our stay so wonderful. We are already discussing when we can come back to this property again!

From our intitial contact through our departure, the communication and help from Ryan and Stepanie was superb. They were committed to making our stay memorable and a fantastic memory for everyone. We did have high expectations and they were exceeded. Its not often that you can spend quality time with the family and never have to leave your accommodation. From 3 years old to 70, we all loved it and had more than enough to keep us busy. No one wanted to sleep in because there were too many activities tempting them :) Four days was not enough! We still never watched a movie, played pool, went to Lake Como.... No need to bring your electonic gadgets...leave them at home and drift back into family time Montana style....Looking forward to our next visit!

We rented this property, because my son was getting married in the area, and I needed a place for my parents, siblings, nieces/nephews to stay, so we could also enjoy some family time. This elegant and beautiful home was a hit with everyone. It was large enough to offer privacy for everyone, but also had amazing living areas for meeting, cooking, and hanging out. There were activities for my niece’s and nephews, including a private basketball court, home theatre and game room, but the back patio with views of the pond seemed to get the most action. This was the central place we all gathered and visited, and though the home is incredibly beautiful, it actually felt homey and comfortable. From the coffee bar (a hit with us all!) to the well-appointed bedrooms, this place was 5-star all the way!! We all decided that we want to make this an annual family gathering spot. Owners were incredibly helpful and responsive if we had questions, and the location was ideal—private but also very close to the town of Hamilton. All-in-all, a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. Worth every penny!!

Ryan and stephanie were the most thorough attentive hosts. They were there to answer a question at a moments notice. The house and property are amazing! We all enjoyed our time there!

We rented this lovely home for a family retreat. The amenities the home offered kept the teenagers happy and busy while the adults enjoyed the gorgeous setting. Convenient distance to Hamilton downtown and hiking. The owners were quick to respond to any of our needs or questions. Highly recommend this property.

Property was outstanding and as advertised. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. We could have spent all 7 days at the property as there was plenty to do and to keep us entertained; however we did visit several surrounding sites and activities. What a super and memorable trip this was for our Georgia and Texas based families.

This house had everything we needed to keep a crew of teenagers happy and entertained. The gym is perhaps the most beautiful home gym I've ever seen! If that wasn't enough, they had a movie theatre, pool and ping pong, foos ball, hot tub and fire pit to keep them amused. And I enjoyed the beautiful views! When we couldn't get the TV on, one quick call with the owners and it was up and running immediately. These owners really care about their guests and it shows from the superb communication to all the little touches like a stocked coffee bar with all kinds of flavorings and ability to make specialty coffees to a prepared fire pit and even ingredients for smores and a big bowl of snacks. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect

We had a special occasion to celebrate with family and this property was magnificent and made our trip. Super comfortable, stunning views, very clean and Ryan and Stephanie were very gracious hands off hosts. I needed some help with one thing and Ryan was super responsive. The family loved playing in the barn/gym and the views of Mill Creek Canyon were beautiful. Jacuzzi’s at night and watching the deer on the property each morning. Just wow. Highly recommend and great value.

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous property! The home was spacious and easily accommodated our large group. We were there in the winter, and although we were unable to take advantage of the pond, we thoroughly enjoyed warming ourselves around the outdoor fire pit and soaking in the hot tub! The home was very clean and well kept with plenty of beds for each person. The home theater was comfortable and great for a relaxing night. Our group was also able to take advantage of the full basketball court and played a group game, with some showing off athletic skills they didn’t realize they had! Stephanie was very responsive and made sure everything was ready for us. She was very accommodating and answered any questions we had swiftly! She ensured that our trip was enjoyable and stress free. Would highly recommend staying here! We are already planning a return visit, this time in the summer!

The property was beautiful. The home was great the owners were available and made everything perfect! We would stay here again . It was a weekend we will always treasure.

This property and the views are incredible. We had sun for first two days and snow for the remainder. The house is PERFECTLY set up for entertaining. We loved Hamilton and nearby Darby. The owners were overly gracious!! One of my best experiences ever renting. Can’t give this enough rave reviews. If there were six stars ⭐️ I would give it!! We will be back.

The hosts were very accommodating and were prompt to answer any questions we had in regards to the property. The property exceeded our expectations. The views from the house were just as stunning as the house itself. It was the perfect fit for our family. The kids loved the theatre room, hot tub, trampoline, and of course the gym. As parents, that gave us time to enjoy each others company and not have to worry about entertaining the kids, the property did that for us:). If you are looking for a place to stay in the Bitterroot with family we would highly recommend this property.
