Fauzia is a wonderful host, she is very kind and helpful. Not just the wonderful breakfast, which has a nice variety of foods and drinks for anyone and a daily surprise of local, homemade foods, but her passion and very emphatic attitude made our stay very pleasant. When there was no information about a sight or the schedule of transportation, she made calls, and guided us what to do. She is very flexible and caring. There is a sign in the kitchen: the secret ingredient is love (or something similar) which is absolutely true. If you want a nice local experience, I strongly suggest you to choose this place to stay.

Art & Books is a comfortable and welcoming B&B in a really convenient location, only metres from the railway station. It is spotlessly clean and has good air conditioning. Fauzia, the owner of the property, is very friendly and warm-hearted, and she is the main reason that we'll remember staying here. Her breakfasts are excellent, and every morning there are special surprises, which are both tasty and interesting! Her main concern is that her guests enjoy their stay, and nothing is too much trouble for her. If we return to Mantua, we'll certainly try to stay here, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to others. Thanks again, Fauzia.

What a lovely place to stay - a proper B&B. Fauza was very welcoming, chatty and friendly. She gave us some great restaurant recommendations - one of the best meals I've had in Italy. The breakfast was lovely - all the usual Italian buffet options, plus a little local speciality to try - things I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. The room was very nice, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. It's very close to the train station, which was perfect for us, and the driections were spot on. I noticed that if you're cycling Mimmo can help with bike problems and you can use the washing machine.

I want to summarize and say that everything is more than PERFECT !!! the place, location, services, breakfast, owners.

Excellent B&B in a central location right next to the train station with charming and helpful host Fauzia (who speaks excellent English). Lovely room, felt like home, with a nice newly renovated bathroom and a spacious nicely decorated room. The best part was the breakfast - a real treat, better than any breakfast I've ever had in Italy. Mantua is a beatiful gem of a town away from the large tourist crowds but world-class attractions in the form of the Palazzo Ducale and Palazzo Te, as well as plenty of interesting architecture, grand churches and a beautiful "sister town" in Sabbioneta (together they form a UNESCO World Heritage) well-worth a day tour. Do visit Mantua and do stay at Art & Books B&B!

Fauzia is a very personal host - we enjoyed the great service and care with attention to detail. The location is good - 1 min from the train station and 15 min walk through a nice, lively street with shops to the city centre. Also fairly close (10 min walk) to Palazzo Te. All amenities were very clean and little complementary items were provided. Breakfast was great, more than enough in a homely atmosphere with little Mantuan specialities that change everyday. Thanks for the great hospitality, Fauzia!

Landlords and breakfasts. Landlord were most amazing and friendly people. Their breakfasts were perfect and so delicious. They have met all our expectations. You just feel that you are at home and part of the family. Highly reccomended.

We had a great time on Art & Books B&B. Is a family business and our hosts Fauzia and Mimmo are working hard on giving something more then just a clean room and breakfast. You can see this from every small detail. Even before arriving we receive complete information about museums, restaurants, boat companies. Then Fauzia called several restaurants to find for us an available table for dinner and lunch. The room is big, nice, quiet, very comfortable beds - slept like a baby. Big bathroom, sparkling clean. The breakfast is not only delicious but various, each day something different made by the host and also fresh and delicious Italian pastry. The location is just near the train station and is prefect to discover Mantova,

I liked the breakfast very much. It was different every day. Location is very good, near the railway station and few minutes from the city center.

everything. the room was great. bed was comfy. everything worked and the stay was comfortable. but the highlight of the stay is beyond the room. fauzia is amazing! she helped me book my pre departure covid test. also ensured I was taken care of. she responds to my queries within seconds. the breakfast is awesome and when I told her the food was too much, she suggested I pack the sandwiches and gave me a doggy bag! that saved my day when I was hungry on the train and saved me time to eat during my noon train schedule and sightsee right away in my next stop in Verona. In my three weeks stay in Italy this is the best, hands down!

Exceptionally kind owners, very clean and well equipped, generous breakfast, good internet, proximity to train station

The only frustration was finding it, while very close to the station, only tiny signage identifying the property.

Due to the welcoming hosts and cozy room, I had a great stay at ART & BOOKS b&b.
