Beautifully warm and lit for our arrival. Good to have boxes of facial tissue and bins in each room. The egg chair was lovely to sit in.
Instructions to operate the shower weren’t available at first. Shower slow to drain. The heating didn’t come on until requested on our second morning.

This accommodation is lovely. Very convenient for Ilkley. The property had everything we needed. The lounge is comfortable. The host provides plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.
The little kitchen area was fine and well resourced although we only used it to wash up.
The bedding and towels smelt lovely and fresh. We would stay again if we were to visit the area.
I wouldn’t change anything.

The bed was awkward for a couple of oldies with it being against the wall.

nothing to dislike really- shower pressure a little low but not a problem. Would have liked a bolt on the door that separates the main house from the property, but I fed that back while I was there and the feedback was taken on board :)

I loved the fact that there were all the facilities we required and found it better than a hotel room. It was more spacious than I had first anticipated, which helped as we were staying for a few nights. With it being at the back of the hosts house (joined on), you wouldn't have thought this was the case. The noise levels with both ourselves and the host were kept to a considerate level at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at The Little Acorn. We also hope to stay here again in the near future.
I should have taken my fire stick as we are so used to watching a movie or something else on a night other than normal TV. Apart from that, it really was great here!

This place is a little gem. Sarah has taken great care to make it comfortable and pleasing. We didn't expect to be able to cook but an ingenious cupboard concealing a hob with accoutrements was present. Everything is comfortable from the swinging egg chair in the conservatory to the full size television with decent sound quality. The location is perfect for a walk on the Moor or into town. Ilkley is close enough to Leeds and the surrounding towns to use as a base without the aggrevation of a city. It is rural but doesn't suffer from "tourist prices" found elsewhere in the dales.

Hidden little gem!!
Only suggestion i have, an optional hamper would be good, maybe a breakfast hamper with goodies for an additional charge.
