The resort is great. The on site restaurant was great. This unit needs some attention. We were told that the unit was being professionally cleaned prior to our arrival. It smelled like it was just cleaned, but the thoroughness of the cleaning was less than to be desired. Sand in the rugs, still. Main shower had filth in the corners. The filters for the AC units were covered in dust, I had to put the one filter back in. We had to wash the dishes before we used them due to them being put away dirty. As far as the unit itself: Door plates were loose making it difficult to close doors. The closet door wasn’t even hung, the bifold door was broke. Loose door handles. Furniture was very worn. You have to turn the ceiling fan off to open cupboards so they don’t hit the fan. Lightning was low. Main bathroom had 3 bulbs that worked out of the 5/6 and they were all different. Towel rack would not stay hung so we couldn’t use it. Garbage disposal wouldn’t work.

I will start this all off by saying the resort is awesome noting against the property. Our issues were plain and simple with the person/persons we communicated with after the booking. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever dealt with. After I spent almost $2500 on the booking for my family of 6 I was told I’d need to spend an additional $200 for pool passes and parking passes, which after paying for I never did receive all of. After done talking with the actual people of villa capriani they informed us that each unit it provided with bands (at no charge) for however many the unit sleeps. Ours stated 10 so them trying to charge extra is a scam. I drove 600 miles with my family to stay at this resort only to be treated like a criminal (over text) once I demanded to be provided with the things I had paid for. According to the staff of the resort this seems to be an ongoing problem with these hosts. I HIGHLY suggest you do not book with them, stay at this resort but not with them. The unit was clean for the most part, we were only provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 4day stay with 6 people. Coffee maker had about 2” of mold inside towel rack broken off the wall closet in master off the tracks. But all of that could have been easily overlooked had I not been belittled by the host, they insulted me continuously telling me how to parent and that I needed to seek mental help. NOT ACCEPTABLE

Villa Capriani is a great resort, this condo and property management company are a complete SCAM. I stayed here over the July 4th, 2024 holiday and will never use this company again. - Charges for pool bands and parking passes were NOT included in the description at the time of booking (it’s now listed) I was informed 48 hours prior to our arrival we would need to pay $25 per pool band & parking pass. - Condo: Kitchen cabinets were sticky, towel bar in the master bathroom fell off wall, closet door broken in master, our feet were black after walking on the floor, dryer left our clothes damp. - Pool bands didn’t work. Messaged property mgmt. on 7/3/24, didn’t hear back until 7/5/24 advising pool bands are property of the resort & to speak with them. - I spoke with the resort and was informed this condo hasn’t paid fees for pool usage and they are aware of this and know they are not to issue pool bands to renters - I get a ridiculous $50 refund for the cost of my pool bands, I advised this is inadequate for my inconvenience and I’ve heard NOTHING back after 48 hours.

The Villa is beautiful, fabulous restaurant, sparkling pools, steps from the beach, peaceful... I could go on. But this rental company is the WORST. When I first booked they approved my trip, then a week later responded that I would need to vacate the day after arrival because the owner wanted it for that same time. I was able to reschedule for a different date 2 weeks earlier. They did not send me check in information at all, I had to call the day of arrival and they wouldn't answer the phone until the fourth call. They finally texted me info to get in half an hour after our check in time. We had to pay extra for pool bands and a parking pass just TWO DAYS before our trip. The first night we were locked out because they have a doorknob with no key (only the deadbolt). There's no after hours number to call, only text. The person who was texting me was incredibly rude, I ended up calling my own locksmith for their oversight. Even the locksmith said that's a very irresponsible property owner to not have a key for a lockable door. They expect you to wash their linens the day you leave. Then they tried to say that we stole the pool bands they charged us extra for when the bands were all left in the unit. We even found 2 additional bands in the unit when we first got there. We will be back to this resort, but NOT through this horrible company. I should have read other reviews before booking because it seems other guests have had the same negative experiences I have.

Communication was difficult at first then on the day of arrival I finally got up with someone who was great. Getting extra charges for each person and parking and pool passes I thought were a bit much after we paid a bit to begin with. We will come back to the villa again but probably not that property.

We have been vacationing at Villa Capriani for over 10 years usually 2-3 times a year. We love this location and typically rent from Treasure Island Realty. Due to renting later this year we ended up booking through vrbo and it ended up being with this East West Getaway place. I had to follow up a few days before our rental date b/c I had not heard from them to confirm details on swim bands and parking passes and found out they only provide swim bands for 2 people. You pay extra for every additional person (even though the condo sleeps 6). So I paid extra for 2 more bands. We arrived at the condo and there were NO pool bands and NO parking passes. If you have stayed at Villa you know your car will get towed w/o a parking pass and they will kick you out of the pool w/o a pool band on. The cell service was horrible at the condo (there was NOTHING in the condo listing the wifi password like every other place I've stayed in there) so I had to keep trying to call the property manager. Apparently it's one person that runs this place? Only one number was available. The voice mail box was full! No way to leave a message. So incredibly unprofessional. I had to keep calling b/c we didn't know what else to do about the situation. It's a bummer b/c it was our anniversary and instead of relaxing as we'd always done, we were dealing with these issues. After several hours I started getting the nastiest messages from East Coast contact. She was horrid. I have never been spoken to that way before by someone that I paid to do business with. It was truly awful. Thankfully, I was able to go to the office of Villa and get everything we needed and our weekend was not ruined. But seriously, please stay away from these people/this person. I don't know who they are, but they don't know anything about Villa, what's needed to stay there or customer service of any kind.

This was a great condo and complex. The view was beautiful and everything clean. The pictures don’t do this place justice! We had all the amenities we needed!

A couple of hiccups but they were extremely responsive….. we will definitely be back
