Poor furnishings, looked very run down. Just needs some TLC.

La propreté. Le ménage laisse plus qu’à désiré. Hotte salle et le dessus gras, la lumière ne fonctionne. De la poussière partout : la tuyauterie, les plinthes, le dessus de la pseudo penderie, la fenêtre…. Impossible de ce garer dans la rue. Tous les emplacements sont payant et il faut attendre 19 h 00 pour que ce soit gratuit.

The room is very close to a Franprix for groceries, a couple of restaurants in the smaller, more intimate streets, very close to the chateau of Fontainebleau, and an accessible paid underground parking (this is not included in any of the hotel fees, you will need to go directly to interparking-france.com to schedule your parking in advance). Garbage bags are provided, so are toilet paper and some hygiene products for bathing. Hairdryer is provided but we did not use it. The internet connection is fast. The mini-fridge has decent space for storing veggies, breakfast goods, some drinks, and other snacks. There was some coffee and sugar provided. Very easy check-in and check-out. We managed to move our schedule around the check-in and check-out times without a problem. The bed is spacious. A fan is provided and was very much appreciated especially during our 30+ degree afternoons and nights! Bathroom is clean, the water pressure of the shower head is also decent, so is the temperature control. Amount of bowls, plates, and cutlery pretty decent for two people, but could use two more glasses in case of multiple drinks in the morning or just left to wash the night before. VERY IMPORTANT: I heavily recommend booking a parking spot through interparking-france.com at the 'Parking Napoleon' underground because you will have an incredibly difficult time looking for a parking spot on the street. It's a very busy part of town, and street parking is more expensive in the long run. For 6 nights, I paid 32 euros of underground parking, which includes the security of your vehicle and assurance that you will have a spot to park at by the end of the day. It's a 2 minute walk to the apartment.

The images provided here are not up to date. Instead of a low chair and table set, we had a tall table for high stools and they were a bit uncomfortable to eat at. There was no table to the side of the bed which could've been nice for accessibility instead of reaching all the way to the shelves. There is no walk-in closet as indicated in the e-mail, it's more like an IKEA mini plastic wardrobe where hangers are provided. The drawers were full of linen so my partner had nowhere to store his clothes in and he had to live off of his luggage for the 6-night stay. Getting upstairs and downstairs was a but difficult due to my vertigo, I did not feel reassured without a handrail and it was dangerous moving about while carrying our stuff. The light outside of the door was not working at night, difficult to access the entrance without a phone flashlight. Poor noise isolation so we hear a lot of noise from outside and have to be wary about how much we talk. There is a washing machine but we did not use it because there is no dryer or a place to hang our clothes on. The pots and pans have residue on them and we did not feel comfortable using them. The water container of the coffee machine was lined with chalk from the water and poorly maintained. You get less of a city view and more a view of the building in front of yours if you decide to open your shutters.

facilities were not as expected. kitchen was available but no proper utensils and they were getting burnt while cooking due to residues in the bottom. no enough sugar, tea and coffee powders for 4 days of stay. no oil available for cooking. further checkout at 10 am is too early compared to check in at all 16h.
