wet bath mats (from shower) that don’t dry in cold wet weather. glad we were given 2 though.

No lock on bedroom window. Water pressure in shower too strong for size of shower stall. Unattractive back of building.

What a surprise! Thoughtfully and creatively appointed. beautiful location. The ducks were a pleasant addition to the ambience. The bathtub was a welcome addition after the drive from Hobart. The well-stocked kitchen was a welcome addition to the experience.

I suppose the downside of so many ducks was the duck poo we needed to clean off our shoes every time we came indoors. The town of Strahan needed a bity of research to locate good eating options. they exist but are not necessarily the most obvious options.

Lovely little cottage. Perfect for our two night stay. Quiet location with waterfront views. Hosts provided some pantry staples which was great. Would definitely recommend.

The location was stunning, hosts were so kind, bed and bathroom were amazing. The best part was probably the wild ducklings who came to greet us each morning from the water! So cute :)

very quiet location with riverside views. facilities were as described, very comfortable bed, great bathroom, well stocked kitchen and small lounge/diner. communication with the host was easy. overall very enjoyable stay

a couple of hooks in the bathroom for wet towels would be helpful

NOTHING!!! WE ARE SEEKING A REFUND. This is false advertisement when it indicates "delux" as the room did not have simple amenities like toilet paper, the flies were atrocious and the small pedistall fan did nothing in the heat.

The fact that no toilet was no toilet paper The heat made it uncomfortable to be inside and you could not sit outside due to the MANY hover flies swarming you. We are seeking a refund as we did not stay at this residence and had to seek alternative accommodation. We have not received a response to our refund request as yet!!

beautiful location on the waterfront. children loved greeting the ducks near the back porch. Very cosy inside. staff very helpful when we locked keys inside.

stove was out of service during our stay which was quite disappointing as we arrived with food to cook and ended up having to throw the meat out.

The location of the property is superb in terms of water views. The sizeable terrace was a highlight and we spent most of our time sitting out here enjoying the view and tranquil setting.

The cleanliness of the bathroom must be highlighted- the shower needs to be re-siliconed and sprayed for mould as it was gross to use. The overall cleaning efforts in the bathroom and kitchen were also debatable, with dirty toilet and food encrusted utensils. Other nice to have’s would have been paper to accompany artists materials provided, coffee pods for the coffee machine. Some other disappointments included broken hooks, hole in the kitchen wall, general interior painting, cracked glassware, untidy cupboards, dirty windows and window dressings to name a few.

There’s something really special about this place. Something here resonated with me on a deeper level. Lettes Bay, the sound of the wilderness stream train chugging along in the distance and the horn of the Gordon river cruise going past, the waddling of ducks on your doorstep and the feeling of time being still. After 18days around Tasmania, this place set the bar and I could not stop thinking about it.

Great location, tucked away, very peaceful and enjoyed the daily visit from the local ducks!! Great kitchen and outdoor seating.

Place was a little dirty when we arrived (I had to use the vacuum to run over the floor). The lounge area would benefit from a foot rest for the couch to put your feet up and relax on a cold winter night.

Beautiful outlook, great position.

Unfortunately the housekeeping was not great.
