This is our 5th year staying here and we absolutely love it! We love the condo so much, it’s perfect for our family, so have just chosen to just always stay in the same one. It is on the ground level, so no elevators, just steps from the door, right to the pool. We love the convenience of that as well as parking on the same level as well. The view is amazing! Ashley, the host, has always been so wonderful and accommodating, always striving to ensure our stay is perfect. We will be back next year!!

Already booked same room for next year

Pros: the condo is a great size, the furniture is comfortable, and you won't find a better location with a big pool and beach front access. Cons: you could press any code into the keypad and get into the condo so I wouldn't consider that very safe. Good thing there's a lock on the inside. The extra bedding in the closets were stained (some with what looks like blood). The hot water tank only stores approximately 10 minutes of hot water. So cold showers were taken by everyone but the first person to shower. My husband dropped something and it rolled under the couch- there were candy wrappers, large food crumbs and dirt under the furniture. The cleaning was sub-par throughout the entire condo. Our feet were black from the floors. The refrigerator leaks water into the vegetable/fruit bins and the freezer does not allow anything to freeze. I did let the management company know about these items and they didn't seem phased by them so if these things don't bother you then I guess you shouldn't have a problem.

Great location. 1st floor is convenient location. Nice unit, has been renovated, but had a couple maintenance issues like broken shower head and fans, not as well stocked as other units rented by family members, for example low linens and no blankets, and bathtub was full of dirt/grime. Overall enjoyed our stay, fixed the couple broken items, and would return.

Love the location on the Lobby level. Easy access to the pool and beach! Clean condo and Ashley was quickly responsive to issues, correcting them in a timely manner. Great family vacation place!!! Thank you!

The positives: The View is gorgeous - we were even able to watch dolphins jumping in the Gulf a couple of late mornings, location of the condo (we love Sandestin area), ease and closeness of access to the beautiful private beach, the pool and hot tub are great. Cons: listing indicates sleeps 8, it was OK for myself, husband, mom and 3 young children - the living, dining and kitchen are small so if you have any more people it would be uncomfortable, the furniture is not comfortable if you want to relax inside at all (with small kids they wanted downtime), was not the cleanest even paying the cleaning fee - feet were black within a short time of being barefoot, bring your own paper towel and toilet paper (even though listing says they supply we had 1 roll in each bathroom for 6 people for 6 njghts), planned on doing a load of laundry midweek but washer has black mold, some of the dishes were still dirty, air filter and Vents do not look like they have been cleaned/changed EVER, screen for slider to balcony broken so couldn't keep door open despite cool mornings and evenings, curtains were very dirty, kept having to call to have water turned back on - halo company said there was a running toilet but building maintenance couldn't find an issue and said just have to call to have it reset/turned on - this was an annoyance. Overall we had a great trip thanks to the pool and beach and proximity to each but it was not what we expected from the listing and were disappointed in the condo itself, especially for the price.

This is our third time staying at Westwinds and our second time in this condo. We love it here and hope to rent this particular one every year! It’s perfect for our family! It’s such easy access to the pool and to the parking deck, we love the fact that we don’t have to mess with elevators. Ashley is easy to communicate with and always responds in a very timely manner. There is really nothing we don’t like about this property.

Will book again for the location convenience and not needing to use the elevator. The condo is beautiful and actually having chairs that rock is a must with littles.
