We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment. Suzanne was such a friendly host and gave us recommendations for free parking. The central location is a great plus and the view of the canal is so picture perfect. We would love to come back to this home away from home.

It gets really hot in summer, but Suzanne told us, that this issue is already in progress to be improved soon.

The bedroom in one of the apartments was cramped

Location was great, easy access to shops and parking (for a small daily fee nearby). Friendly and helpful host. Beautiful apartment, furnished in contemporary style and well maintained.

Apartment wasn't ready for check-in at agreed time. Cleaners had not come. It was cleaned urgently for us, but we came after a long drive and would have liked to have rested straight away. SMS to advise when apartment was ready did not come. Upon checking with host 3 hours later, was informed it was ready. Also, while a convention microwave is provided it is not ideal to toast bread. A simple toaster would have been ideal. Not all blinds work well in the living room and the door to balcony very difficult to lock/unlock. Floor tiles on the balcony are not fixed to the ground, all wobble loosely, feels unsafe to walk on, a tripping hazard.

Very warm welcome from the host who showed us around and explained everything really well. The apartment was very spacious with all the facilities we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom was lovely. Excellent quiet location and really close to the town centre. Really enjoyed our stay.

Could do with adjusting the balcony door, it was quite hard to close.

Pros: Central location, very quiet at night, friendly staff, great stay for up to 2 people, grocery store right around the corner, view of the water, no extra cleaning fee during 1+ week stay, adequate for longer stays also.

Cons: Parking situation complicated and/or expensive if you come by car, no dedicated parking spot for own bikes, kitchen equipment could use an upgrade for longer stays, flat gets quite stuffy in warmer temps (no AC, just a fan), if the flats above and/or below are occupied you will hear it, extremely small WC room, only one set of keys.
