house was great for our overall stay. We could tell the house was a older home, but I belive we got a good value.

We had the best time!! There were 16 of us l. This home had plenty of room.... great neighborhood and cute home. Great response from the host. The few problems we had were taken care of quickly. Would definitely stay again!

First impression of the house was not great lots of trash in the front yard by the trash cans also roaches were all over the air conditioner couldn't keep up the deck on the patio on the back had a lot of Hazards there needs to be a lot of work done to that house it's not very safe for kids or families also the people across the street parking in the street made it difficult to pull out

The house is in a good location away from the craziness of downtown Galveston and a short drive away from beach access. The house has all the essentials, plenty of space, and is clean. We were able to fish and crab off the deck as well. The drawbacks I saw - boat dock is missing a few boards and dips in one spot - Master shower missing door. Shower curtain in it's place Would recommend for a quick getaway!

This property had everything we were looking for. We wanted something quiet, on the water, and great for kids to explore and have fun in the sun. This checked all the boxes. The property is actually not located exactly where we thought it was so we were surprised to discover it was on the opposite side of the street than where we wanted (we wanted bay side rather than shallow canal), but it was great. It worked well for our needs. There are plenty of bunk beds so it can accommodate a large group (two rooms downstairs with two bunk beds each) and three rooms on the main level one of which also has a king size bed and side room with two more bunk beds). Worked out well for our group!

Good and enjoy

The house was clean and beautiful with spacious decks in the front and back of the house . There were plenty of towels in each room for everyone to use. My elderly parents mostly stayed in the house so they enjoyed the large living room and the back deck with the view of pretty sunrise and sunsets. My brother brought his boat and took family members around the neighborhood canal touring and also went day and night fishing with his friend. And the neighborhood is really pretty; my husband enjoyed long walks around the block just looking at the views. We were just a short drive to Jamaica beach so the family got to enjoy swimming then coming back to the house for meals. Our young adults even rented bikes to explore the neighborhood. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at Jamaica Cove.

I recently stayed at this home on a canal in Jamaica Beach. It was an incredible experience. The fishing was amazing. In the evening, we enjoyed drinks and cooked up a delicious fish dinner. The house was clean and comfortable, and had a great outdoor area for relaxing.

The house was good for our stay and roomy, the water pressure was extremely low, pots and pans limited and need updating. But we made memories with family and friends for our 8th year at the LSR.

Very impressed with the home. Loved the way the home was organized to allow for separation of our youth. The only thing missing was an outside shower to reduce the amount of sand on the floors, as well as there was not an available broom to sweep the floors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! Love Jamaica Beach and loved this house. Plenty of room for everyone to be together but still have privacy. The house was clean and updated with seemingly brand new appliances and cookware. LOTS of beautiful outdoor seating spaces where you can choose to be under a cover or in the sun. Russell answered all of our questions and was very helpful. We will be staying here again!

We could have used one more queen bed as the bunks aren’t too couple friendly but there was certainly enough sleeping space for eleven of us. The expanded dining table on the porch seated us all (we added two chairs from those we brought for the beach) and the canal provided endless entertainment swimming, fishing and kayaking. The inside of the house was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The outside was a little rough in places and the bedrooms downstairs could use more outlets (only one could be found in each) and perhaps a chair or two downstairs would be good too. If you have a boat, bring it, or kayaks and canoes are wonderful additions as well.

House needs lots of maintenance, porch maintenance mainly it shakes a lot, several of the wood pickets are loose and rotted. Manager was extremely nice and accommodating, I have informed him of the current condition of the house.
