The place is a little tricky to find by car. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke.

Our stay at Salvo’s B&B was the best ever. The room was very stylish with a super comfortable bed. The breakfast was really divine. But above this all, the kindness of our host was what we appreciated the most. He gave us good addresses of local bistros and liked to take the best care of us. Especially when he instantly helped us when our car was moved by the police due to the procession at Easter. We can definitely recommend B&B Ronco Zaffarana when visiting Caltagirone, which is lovely too.

10/10!!! One of the best places I've ever stayed in. You can feel it that Salvo (the host) really loves what he does. Would definitely come back and recommend the place to our friends. PS Make sure to have a breakfast there as well!

everything was very good. Salvo our host was excellent, very attentive. He helped us unload (we had a lot of stuff being on the road for 5 weeks), helped us with parking, prepared a terrific breaky, and gave us lots of info. Well done Salvo.

Very central and convenient location, steps from the main piazza. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast is served upstairs in the owners private residence which makes the whole experience very homey and cozy. Salvo is a fantastic host, very caring , helpful and detail oriented. Breakfast is great with a lot of options and served in classy dinnerware. We had a great experience and would definitely be back.

Salvo’s place is located perfectly in the centre of Caltagirone with convenient parking next door. Next to the clean rooms and the wonderful breakfast, it is particularly the host itself that makes this place special. Salvo has been a life saver for us, as we got sick and needed help (in the middle of the night!). Salvo went above and beyond to help us manage the situation. We cannot thank him enough for his support and kindness! All the best and hopefully see you soon again!

You can tell by everything that the host enjoys welcoming guests and making them feel at home. Nice room, very tastefully decorated Host can recommend nice places to eat and has tips for trips. Very good breakfast with all kinds of treats, prepared by the host himself. A very nice stay guaranteed. Definitely recommended.

This is the place to stay! The welcome from Salvo, our host, was great. The room was fantastic, very contemporary, everything looked new. The bed was so comfortable and we had the best sleep as it is very quiet. The bathroom is amazing with a huge shower with great water pressure. The breakfast upstairs was lovely. I wish I had taken some photos as it was so beautifully presented with home made baking and preserves all done by Salvo.

Directions to the location are tough. Parking is a challenge.

Salvatore is a great host who goes out of his way to fulfil his guests desires. He even came looking for us when we got lost in the narrow Caltagirone streets with our car. The b&b is newely refurbished, clean and stylish. Bang in the centre.

Caltagirone itself has little to offer and while situated between Catanese and Ennese, it is not well connected with major motorways. The b&b however is all it promised and more.

This place is just beautiful. Spotlessly clean! Wonderful hosts...nothing is too much trouble. Great location with easy parking. Not far from the main square and steps...safe area. Lovely comfy bed. Shops and restaurants nearby. Beautiful decor and attention to detail. Perfecto in every way!

Beautiful B&B in Caltagirone, perfectly situated close to the center but with good parking possibilities near by. Salvo is a perfect host, very friendly and attentive. Also the breakfast was great. We highly recommend this B&B to everybody visiting Caltagirone.

B&B Ronco Zaffarana is an expertly renovated structure. No efforts were spared when works were done. The place is spic and span and offers all that is required for a cosy stay. The host, Salvo, goes out of his way to make guests feel at home. The structure is positioned very near the main attractions of the town. We look forward to stay here again on our future visits to the area.
