Perfect place for a large group of adults! Plenty of comfortable beds, multiple tables to work upon, well-stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals, and what a view! Lake Erie didn't disappoint with frozen crust on top of undulating waves. We'd love to come back again.

This is a nice getaway with the family! Enough places for the family to sleep. The one thing I wasn’t happy with is the cleanliness. I am not sure it has been really cleaned. I clean houses and I would not leave this house like it was.

What a wonderful weekend we had in Huron at the lake! Met the owner upon arrival and he was just so helpful. Showed us all of the amenities as well as everything we could enjoy while at his property. All of the accommodations were great from the thick plush towels to the beds. We just can’t say enough about the house and the owners. Thanks for everything and we are truly hoping for a repeat trip next September!!

I don't feel that this is a 5-star property. It is an older property that needs a deep clean and many updates to be worthy of the price charged. There are two small kitchens with not a lot of counter space and it’s difficult to cook for a large group. The place needs a good wipe down including the cabinetry, and baseboards (which are pretty gross). There are cobwebs everywhere, lampshades, walls, and windows and most have bugs stuck in them. It feels like no one has been here for weeks. Everything is covered in dust. We didn't use the upstairs balcony, because we didn't feel like cleaning it. The first night we were eating dinner and turned on the light above the table and we were instantly grossed out. There were hundreds of dead bugs inside the light. One of the downstairs bathrooms has a small shower with moldy seams. One refrigerator leaks from the freezer down into the fridge. Everything we put in the fridge got wet. The bottom rack will roll right out of the dishwasher if you don’t hold the door up. It appears the king mattress is on a queen box spring. Under one of the queen beds upstairs is very dusty and has garbage under it. There is toothpaste splattered all over the shelves in the upstairs bathroom. Nearby sandy beach is very nice. We did dig through the basket of beach toys on the back porch and found a few things to use (and someone’s dirty socks, old blue ice, and broken pieces of plastic toys.). Views of the lake are spectacular and worth 5-stars!

Property was perfect. There was a "GREAT TABLE" that we could all sit around for meals or just a gathering place. (10 adults) The fact that we were 10 steps from the lake was amazing. The younger kids had plenty of space to play games outside, as well as, the adults too... The fishing was so much fun for everyone. The upstairs was a perfect place to nap and there is a deck off the 2nd floor with a beautiful view. Actually our dogs loved to lay out on the deck and watch the water and the family below. The bathrooms were all nice size and the washer and dryer was perfect. 2 fridge/freezer was very nice for the storage of fruit and veggies and beverages etc. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about the property. The bedrooms are all nice size, there is extra storage and space for beach toys or extra coolers. You really can't go wrong at this property...you can stay here and never leave and enjoy every day but those that are looking for a little more adventure there is Cedar Point and Put in Bay so close.....and so much more. The owners emailed with check in instructions and checked in on us during our stay and answered all questions that I had quickly prior to our arrival. This property really is perfect for a family/friends vacation...

This property was perfect for our family of 18! Plenty of seating, kitchen supplies. And outside seating. The beds we’re comfortable. We especially liked the “ coffee” kitchen. The view was amazing! View is incredible. Location is accessible to lots. Host was accomodating. The house is an old, converted duplex. It really needs to be updated. It has definitely seen better days. Felt this rental was quite overpriced.

The pictures of this property are accurate. Fully stocked home with plenty of room for everyone. We hope this property is available the next time we’re in town!

Great place to sit out at night with whole family. Lots of chairs for everyone. Unfortunately only half the grill worked and we were cooking out. Very accommodating manager.

My first VRBO! (I've always used hotels). We had a glitch with the air conditioning upon arrival on Friday and it would not have been resolved if we had a host that was slow to answer. A responsive host is so important and I was thankful for that. All resolved and the house was perfect for my clan. The little kids loved it. Plenty of space, well stocked. Short drive to Cedar Point, where we spent Saturday. The upper balcony was great for watching sunrises. A bald eagle flies by quite often and at close range. Loved that balcony. When we were all leaving my 4 year old grandson started crying "I want to stay at vacation!" I think all the little ones felt the same!

Great experience right on Lake Erie. It was great to wake up in the morning and enjoy coffee over looking the lake. If you are looking for a great house with ample bedrooms, look no further.

We had 11 family members. Perfect for us all. Roomy and the best equipped house I have ever rented! Was so nice to have that. Perfect patio to gather and enjoy the lake around the fire pit. Park literally next door. Would highly recommend! Easy fast communication with owner. Thank you Stephanie!

This beautiful place is huge, comfortable and has everything you could need for a family getaway. Sunsets and sunrises from the windows and the deck are spectacular. We rented it for a birthday celebration for my sister and it truly made her wish for a lake getaway come true. Our host provided great communication and responded quickly to every question and was willing to accommodate a special check in request. A wonderful experience and memories we will cherish!

This place offered the most gorgeous views. The beds were comfortable and 12 people could fit around the table to enjoy dinner . The fire pit hosted two amazing bon fires and the sun rises weee incredible. Would recommend this place easily for a medium size group get away

This home is spectacularly located on the rocky shore of Lake Erie, super close to Sandusky shopping, Cedar Point, Marblehead and Put-in-Bay. We had a total of 16 adult-sized people for most of the week, and we were all quite comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating, the lake views stunning, and found everything as advertised. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing and fun-filled family getaway.

What a great house for a little family getaway. Our hosts were great at communicating and answering our questions. It fit our party of 13 perfectly. I would recommend this house to friends and family that want a great lake view.

We enjoyed a memorable weekend celebrating a family birthday. Rental has an interesting layout with plenty of space for 15 of us to gather. The outdoor space was by far our favorite part of the experience. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy meals, lounge around & sit at the campfire. The lake views were bar none! Renters were quick to respond to questions & concerns and very willing to remedy anything that arose. Beds were comfortable, showers clean and air conditioning was plenty cool. A deep cleaning is our only recommendation.

House was fully equipped with all our needs, plenty of space for our family to sleep. The front facing the lake was my favorite! Found so much to do in the area we are already talking about another trip. Communication with owners was exceptional!

The property is an exceptional location literally right on Lake Erie, where you are lulled into relaxation with the waves, gorgeous sunsets, and unforgettable sunrises. We just stepped out onto the balcony for a right on the water breakfast/lunch or lounged on the patio for listening to the waves and bird watching. The inside of the home is immaculately clean, has a lovely lighthouse decor, and has just about anything you could possible need. I believe it may be impossible to be stressed at this location. The hosts are very helpful and extremely gracious to allow dogs on this very nice property/home. The house is gigantic (we mostly used only a small portion of the first floor) and while it was just my husband, myself, and our dogs, this home could clearly host a wonderful family reunion with multiple families. There are multiple kitchen areas!!! We went hiking along the water, through some local parks, and even saw the "safari"- but over all we stayed on the property to lounge and allow Lake Erie to take all of our stress away. I strongly recommend this home for a relaxing and fun get away.

Great location. Layout of house is very usable when different families of different age groups are together. Quick easy drive to Sandusky.
