This home should not be overlooked! My immediate family of nine (w/ adult kids x3, their spouses x 2 and grandkids x2) were more than fortunate to have rented this VRBO the 1st week of April. A Midwest blizzard postponed our arrival by a day and our gracious host extended our stay by a day, to start the perfectness of this home. It is spacious, well-appointed for toddlers, has a fantastic kitchen that covers all your needs, has every beach and pool toy, chair, umbrella, wagon, shark teeth scoop that again covers your needs. We loved seeing the sunrise on the bay side and walking the short walk to the private access beach for sunsets. The pool was ideal - deep enough and fun with the "little pool" for kids. The additional outer guest house was perfect for my husband and I. A grocery store is close, the Englewood Farmers Market a must, the beach is fairly uninhabited with white sand and turquoise water and clean, the restaurant choices plentiful, the presence of osprey, dolphins, crabs, egrets, whistling ducks, tortoises, pelicans, shells, shark teeth if you look, Stump Pass State Park to wander in. When Hurricane Ian caused me to look north on the gulf side, I am so fortunate to have found Sea Turtle!

The house was very quiet, except for birds chirping and ducks whistling. (Yes, whistling). Unfortunately 2 bedrooms were close to the kitchen but the other 2 were very private. The property management was quick to respond to any questions.

My family which includes 2 toddlers enjoyed a wonderful week at this property. The heated pool is directly outside of one of the large living rooms. There is another large living room and the kitchen/dining area also includes a sitting area so it is possible for people to watch watch tv while others read, play games etc. The beds are comfortable and the linens are clean and up to date. There are plenty of bath and beach towels. The host provided shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels and soap that lasted for the entire week. The location is fabulous so you can't go wrong with this property.

It was a great location and an easy house to feel at home in. The property manager responded quickly when we had a question.

Had a really good time here with family and friends. Nice and clean, spacious and at a perfect location, just a minute walk to the perfect beach! Would recommend to anyone!

We have been staying on Manasota Key for summer vacations for over 20 years. We like to get the whole family together including grandparents and friends. As our family has grown, we have had to find more space. This house worked out fantastically. The spaciousness, the amenities, and the location were ideal. The reason we come to Manasota Key year after year is the amazing natural environment. From this locale, we saw manatee and dolphins playing along the seawall out back. We used our paddleboards in the bay and snorkels and fins in the Gulf. We fished both shores. We found buckets of beautiful shells and shark teeth. We were able to catch sight of a loggerhead turtle laying her eggs. When we weren’t playing in the natural waters and beach, we were relaxing in and by the pool. All in all, a great vacation.

We loved this property! It was big enough to give our family of six plenty of space to spread out. The views of the Bay are gorgeous and the pool was perfect. Fishing out back was awesome as well. The separate guest house was also a plus. House is well stocked. Short walk to a private beach that was never crowded. Very few people there at all. The owner is excellent to work with. We highly recommend this property.

We would rebook this home! Kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to make meals. Pool was ideal. Location was awesome - for beach access and getting anywhere. Sunrises in the backyard on the bay, sunsets at the Gulf. Enjoyed the privacy! Safe area. Quick communication with owners if we had questions.

The neighborhood was great and the over zealous neighbor was good on the first day helping us get settled and letting us know about the “rules.” The house was strangely laid out but bigger than thought so everyone had a place to escape to if needed. Few mechanical/electrical issues but the manager quickly rectified the situation. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The setting was lovely. Beach was a short walk and beautiful. Home was well equipped and lay out was great for our large group. Pool was nice however jets did not work in small pool and the maintainence man showed up to service in middle of afternoon on day before we left and chlorinated so we could not use it. We would recommend adding an outdoor shower as the hose was hard to use. The barbecue was broken as was the replacement the property manager brought over. We could not grill the whole week which was a disappointment. She did try to remediate and sent some lovely cookies as an apology. We were promised a new grill on Wednsday but it never arrived. The house seems to have maintenence issues as the door on the pool area was broken. Slider in sun room fell off track several times and Bose did not work. The attached suite also did not have a door on bathroom just a curtain which limited privacy. A slider could easily be installed. There were also a lot of mosquitoes which was unpleasant but we bought spray. Other then all of this we had a great time and would recommend the home to others.

The Sea Turtle house was just what we needed!! Quiet and perfectly relaxing!! House was beautiful, bigger and more spacious than what we even anticipated. Everybody had their own space to chill out. Grandparents loved the in-law suite! It was hard to get the kids out of the pool, they swam from sun-up to sun- down. Kitchen had everything we needed including towels, spices, cleaning supplies etc… we enjoyed the the sunny patio in the morning and drank our coffee by the bay while we watched pelicans, eagles, hawks, and woodpeckers. Short walk with the wagon to the ocean was easy, collected shells and watched the sunset! Perfectly lovely!! Loved the Sea Turtle house!!

The home was clean and very spacious for us all. It has a very nice pool. The property is on the bay side and would walk out back in the mornings to drink coffee and watch sun rise. The beach is right across the street from the property and made it very convenient to be able to walk to. The management is very friendly and helpful and easy to reach. We will definitely be back.

House fit our wants very well, grandkids liked the pool, kitchen was very well equipped, short walk to the gulf. We would most definitely stay here again!

We had a party of 8, adults and teens. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The home is stocked with plenty of towels, utensils, cookware, etc. The beach access was easy and the beach was beautiful. The owner answered questions very quickly. Nice pool and nice pool area. Nice back yard. The neighbors were friendly.

We didn’t want to leave SeaTurtle. The house and location were absolutely perfect. We loved the fact that we could walk to the beach in three minutes and had the beautiful bay and pool outside the door. Everything we needed for amazing family beach vacation was ready and waiting for us. The house was so well stocked with every single item we needed. The owner was super helpful and informative. We can’t wait to return next year!

My family and I came into town for a wedding and wanted to stay together. This house allowed us to be together but still have our own space and privacy. The property is spacious and well maintained. The location is beautiful, located on the bay and a very short walk from the beach. The property was easy to find and check-in was seamless. There are also a number of dining options in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

This house is huge! It would be perfect for a lot of people or a bunch of couples, very separate rooms with a ton of privacy. Only problem for larger groups is their is only parking for 3 cars. The neighbor lady can really make it uncomfortable too each time you come or go. Location to the beach is perfect, really short walk with beach wagons to use. The section of beach by the house is awesome! Very very private. Then a short 2 minute drive to all the cool restaurants and tiki bars. Biggest downfall for us was the pool. We were most excited about having our own pool, but the pool is about 80%shaded all day long. The heater made it alittle warm but not warm enough for us to use it at all. Maybe it would be best for a summer rental when it’s super hot with all the shade. The house really had everything you needed as far as chairs, towels, blankets, lotions, shampoos, seasonings, baggies…. Nice touch!

Everything about this house was top notch. From the beds to the towels to the shampoo and conditioner in the shower we had everything we needed. The location was amazing and a five minute walk to the beach with everything you or your kids could ever want when you went to the beach. The view of the bay out the back of the house was wonderful. We didn’t want to leave. Our older kids loved staying in the guest house. There was so much space that we never felt cramped and everyone had places they could go to be by themselves if needed. I’d definitely stay again! Thanks!!!

The property is very spacious, pool is lovely and Lemon Bay sunrise view stunning,sunset across the street private, ocean cold at this time of year. Great beach walks. Guest house toilet area too small our guest had to use the main house toilets. Kitchen cupboards and drawers dirty I had to use half of my first day cleaning .Ran out of toilet paper the first day. Property has lots of potential just needs more attention to the details. All said we loved the location,

Everything was in very good condition. Kitchen was all new. Nice coffee bar. Very well equipped kitchen. If you love to cook like i do, it’s very important to have all the utensils you need. Pretty plates😀 Very nice pool, clean, well kept. Nice view. Easy walk to nice quiet beach. Not the white powdery sand beach, but nice soft sand. Not a lot out of seaweed. master bed was comphy. I would definitely stay here again. The property managers were awesome. Alway ready to help or give advice. We Went to dinner a few times and really enjoyed everyone and everything .

Spacious and comfortable. Great location, right on Bay with panoramic view of Bay and drawbridge. Easy walk to beach and beach restaurants. After dinner or lunch, convenient golf cart shuttle back to house. Oh, and I almost forgot - great pool

Great house for big group. Beach was 2 minute walk and huge bay front lawn was perfect area for kids to play when they weren’t in pool. Cleanest and Best Supplied VRBO we’ve stayed at. We loved having three living areas and all the outdoor space. Thank you! We will be back next year.

SeaTurtle had the best view of the bay. We would drink our coffee in the morning and watch dolphins and manatee swim by. We rented a gulf cart and drove across the street to the ocean. It a 1 min walk but we loved having the gulf cart. The house and amenities were perfect. The little guest house was adorable. We were in a perfect location for near by restaurants, tiki bar and novelty shopping. We also went parasailing, that boat was a very short distance from the house. We had an amazing week.

The view of the bay was perfect! We spent most mornings & evenings at the water. You can see dolphins & manatee! The pool was a great size for 4 young children - the 4 & 5 year olds especially loved the "tiny" pool (aka cool water hot tub). The house was bigger than we thought looking at the pictures. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us to spread out. The master bedroom is actually separated from the 2 guest rooms ( think of the other side of a U shape), and is a nice quiet location. The house is mid-century and the walls are thick, so it was great from a sound perspective. Our mother thoroughly enjoyed her own in-law suite. It runs a little warm though so you have to turn down the house air to make sure it stays cool. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and we cooked almost every meal at the house. We would suggest adding a strainer and peeler. The oven also shorted out twice for an unknown reason, but we were able to reset it. The beach is a short walk away and is very private and peaceful. There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. There is a very involved neighbor who approached us about parking, trash & beach rules the minute we got out of the car. She was also quick to comment if we didn't park exactly where needed (even though we were unloading a car) and that the garbage was slightly off. It was a little overbearing & unnecessary. I think it's more of her own volition vs. the owner's ask. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and our stay. Highly recommended!

We had a great vacation staying here. It was perfect for our party of 9. The guest house was nice and cozy for the ones that wanted to sleep in. The house had everything needed for a full week of just relaxing by the pool and enjoying the beach. The private beach was very nice and never crowded. The walk to the beach took only about 3 min. Tons of seashells and shark teeth to be found. We went during turtle season so we got to see turtle tracks on our morning walks. The best restaurant we found to eat was Lock and Key. Food was delicious and only about a mile from the house.

The home was very comfortable and the location was perfect. The house is located on Lemon Bay and a 5 minute walk to the Gulf.

We stayed here with family during our kids' spring break (4 adults, 5 kids) and it was the perfect getaway. I'm SO happy we stumbled upon this house on VRBO! I have never heard of Manasota Key, but it is a beautiful, quint little island! The house is located on the bay and a very quick walk to the beach (literally 2 minutes across the street) so you get the best of both worlds! It's a private beach so there are no crowds. The water was a bright turquoise blue and sunsets were gorgeous! The owners were always very quick to respond and answer all of my questions, and the property is well equipped with cooking supplies, board games, grill, 2 adult bikes, beach chairs, umbrella and cart to wheel everything easily across the street to the beach. We brought fishing rods and our kids had a blast fishing in the bay. We didn't venture out to any restaurants because of Covid (we opted for take-out instead) but the island has so many cute and fun looking restaurants and a huge tiki bar called Sand Bar with live music and dancing. Our kids were so happy to be together and we wanted to be at the beach to watch the sunset every night, so dinner at home worked out perfectly for us. Kids were usually swimming in the pool or playing the board games they have at the house while the adults prepared dinner. We had fun collecting shark teeth at Stump Park and one day we rented a pontoon boat parked it up on the sand bar and enjoyed a day on the water. There's also paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skis and parasailing offered on the island. Definitely a fun, relaxing getaway for all ages!!! This house is very spacious for multiple families and I highly recommend!!!

We are extremely satisfied with our stay in this gorgeous and spacious coastal house facing Lemon Bay. The master bedroom was spacious and well equipped with a TV and a very modern and bright bathroom. I pay particular attention to the mattress as a good and comfortable night is essential during my vacation and it did not disappoint. My mother in law was extremely happy to have her own suite and never heard us enjoying a late night in the hot tub😊 We all thought it was the perfect house for our family reunion: the lawn is large enough for playing games and the covered pool is perfect for swimming while enjoying the view of Lemon Bay. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
