This house was clean, comfortable, and close enough to walk to the beach. It was very well-supplied. We felt welcome and all ages found something special to enjoy. Our 3-year-old spent the evenings catching frogs from the porch swing, our 8-year-old spent beach moments on the boogie board that was made available, and our 13-year-old giggled her way through the "Grumpy Cat" book she found on the shelf. The parents appreciated the outdoor shower that kept the sand outside, as well as the buggy for rolling gear to the beach. The Surfside pedestrian beach felt safe and family-friendly. The town has a few little shops and restaurants, but it doesn't feel like a heavily commercialized spot, which we also liked. If you want a great place to bring the family to the ocean and just enjoy each other and the waves, we highly recommend this home! The owner was kind, accessible, and helpful. Good location. Reasonably priced. Easy access to the beach (short walk, or short drive if you have a bunch of stuff to bring). The house has all the comforts of home -- and plenty of stuff (games, bikes, sporting goods) to keep the kids occupied. The owner, Michelle, was very responsive to our questions.

Enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived. Such attention to detail at every turn on the property. Will stay there again, truly a clean and beautiful place.

I have stayed in rentals on surfside beach for years, and this is by far the best rental we have ever had. The beds were all very comfortable, everything was very clean and updated. They had snacks for us and so many little extras - like ice cubes ready to use in the freezer, bikes, tons of outdoor and indoor toys/games, fresh drinking water, sandwich bags and tinfoil, q tips, extra blankets in your room and couch blankets, beach towels, Landry detergent, trash bags and tons of K cups for the keurig or a bag of ground coffee if you preferred it. This is a host that really cares about your needs and goes above and beyond to make sure you will have a great time. It’s clear they also want to make sure you won’t be without small details you would normally have in your own home. I have three toddlers, this home was pretty easy to have small kids at. Every time I come to surfside in the future, THIS is where I’m staying.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house was well stocked, very clean and a great location. Michelle goes above and beyond for this property. We will definitely be back!

This home is everything you need for a trip to the beach! Everything was very clean and very well stocked. We would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

This house was beautiful! The beds were comfortable, the living room furniture was also very comfortable. I was so impressed with the kitchen. Fully stocked with extras. Especially appreciate the coffee! Whatever water system they have on this house made my hair soft and silky. Set up like a home away from home. Thank you so much. I would love to come back and stay here!

Michelle went above and beyond to ensure that her guests feel at home! We loved riding bikes along the beach, watching ships go by, walking the jetties, cooking on the grill in the evening, and enjoying the fire pit at night!! We will certainly return when we can! This was probably the best rental house we have ever stayed at!!

The property was perfect for a beach vacation. It was very clean, spacious and looked just like the pictures. The downstairs area with seating and games was awesome! Was a short walk to nice pedestrian beach. We ended up forgetting something and Michelle was so kind to meet us later that day and return the item. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was within a 5 minute walk to the beach and was filled with games, bikes, books, snacks, and beach items that were a hit with adults as well as the children. The house was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for a family of 6. We had a very good time and would certainly choose this property again.

We have been traveling to the coast every summer for years & this is by far the best beach house we have rented to date! It was impeccably clean & so incredibly well stocked that it really felt like the hosts thought of everything. We always come prepared, as we like to cook big meals together & have all we need for full days at the beach, but we didn't need anything we brought along! The downstairs area was also a real treat. Our family and kiddos spent a lot of time in that space playing the outdoor games provided, sitting on the swing & grilling out. We also were grateful for the trunk full of beach toys like boogie boards & sand toys. But the biggest bonus was the collection of beach cruisers that made us all feel like kids & the trips back and forth to the beach a breeze. Would definitely rent again.

Loved our stay, Michelle has thought of pretty much everything, we felt right at home. The property was just as listed, great location. She was super easy to book with & very responsive to any questions we had. We definitely plan to stay here again when we return to the area!

The host was very helpful and responded immediately. Property was very clean and my kids loved the complimentary snacks too. The only reason for 4 stars are the mosquitoes downstairs. We did not bring any repellents and among all of us my 3 year old daugther got the worst of it. I was horrified looking at her arms and legs and would have appreciated a little tip for things to consider.

My family and I spent a wonderful week at this beach house. It was extremely clean, well equipped with all essentials, and overall exceeded our expectations. Recommend renting a golf cart to drive around the area and take you to the beach. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, quiet beach house with friends or family.

This is our third time to stay at this property and once again it was great. It fits my family (wife and 3 kids) perfectly. Well located, well stocked, well taken care of. Highly recommend.

This was by far one of our favorite places to stay. Our family which consisted of 3 couples and a one year old sadly were here to hold a memorial service for our grandson. The location was perfect. It was spacious with 3 bedrooms and the most efficient kitchen we’ve seen. The living area and wrap around porch and downstairs area was more than enough room to spread out and reflect as needed. The bikes were a big hit with my husband and I as we stayed an extra evening without our adult children to ride the sea wall and reflect on the past week. Michelle knew what we were there for and she went above and beyond with a beautiful plant, stuffed animal and sweet note. We played “Rimikub” which is our fav family game - we thought it was packed but sadly it wasn’t, but Michelle had it at her house, along with tons of other games. Great beds, towels and plenty of beach towels. We will definitely be back for a happier trip. Thank you Michelle for everything.

We had the most amazing experience at this home! This home is close to beach and has all things to make it a perfect experience! They have games and books for all ages. I would recommend this home to anyone. The owner really goes out of their way to create a great experience

The property was immaculately clean, with attention given to every detail. Beautiful welcome pack and store cupboard supplies. Our family having being separated by Covid for three years and travelling from the UK were able to immediately relax and enjoy our two weeks together. 🥰

This property is even better than the listing. The house is absolutely gorgeous and Michelle thought of everything when they put this rental together. Our son loved playing the board games in the morning before the beach and sitting out on the patio together. The beach was close enough to put our things in the huge wagon provided and walk every day. We made some amazing memories there and can't wait to go back!

Property manager communicated very well and answered all my questions. House was very well kept, and in a quiet community. My family enjoyed our stay very much would return! :)

We are so happy to have found and booked this wonderful beach house. Our family spent 3 nights at Surfside and this house had everything we needed and MORE! It really felt like staying in someone’s home, not just a property managed by a company. It was so homey, clean and cared for. We love how open the layout is. The welcoming basket was such a nice touch. Our kids absolutely love the board game collection and the books in the bookcase (and of course the bunk bed!). They also loved the outdoor games and the bikes. The outdoor shower was a lifesaver after a day at the beach. I got to enjoy my morning coffee at the wrap around porch upstairs too, and it was such a delight. So, so many things that Michelle put in this house that are beyond what we expected. She was so thoughtful with everything. The beach and the fishing jetty were within walking distance for sure, although with young children, we chose to drove. My husband and my 9 yo son did walk after fishing at the jetty to the house so it’s definitely doable. Thank you so very much Michelle, for your hospitality and for sharing your beautiful home with us. We are so grateful that you were such a gracious host!

The house was absolutely as nice as advertised. It was a very comfortable stay for our family, and we loved the open spaces to just relax. The owners were easily accessible and helpful whenever we reached out. The mosquitoes were bad due to the rain, so be sure to bring bug spray! Also, the sinks and counters are high, so bring something for your little ones to stand on for hand washing.

Our experience with this rental property was amazing. This beach house was exceptionally clean and beautiful. The renters were kind, thoughtful and had the house supplied with various items that you might need. They were also available to answer any questions that we had and were very responsive. We definitely will be going back!

The house was beautiful. It was a great size to hang out either inside or outside. The outside space was beautiful as well. Has a great time and will definitely come again.

From the beginning of our stay to the end Shelly’s Searenity was just that, a comfortable, serene and peaceful home. Michelle spared no expense having everything to accommodate our weekend getaway from the bikes to beach toys, towels and family games for the evening. We will definitely be back to stay and can’t wait for our next visit to Surfside and a chance to wake up and watch the sun come up from her lovely deck. Everything was perfect. It was fully shocked including beach toys and boogie boards. The beach was a 5 minute walk and wasn’t crowded. Make sure you bring mosquito spray.
