I really liked the condo. The communication with property manager. However, the listing said 3 king beds in bedrooms and there was only 2. One of my guests slept in sofa due to claustrophobic issue. The property had steep steps to climb and I had a senior citizen that can hardly see. So I do not recommend it for elderly people. The maid left our towels in the washer probably expecting us to wash them or she simply forgot. We ran out of toilet paper soon. We bought our own no problem. Don’t expect to have any other things in kitchen except coffee, sorry I’m use to other owners doing little extra things for guests. But it was a beautiful location and a nice pool. The communication with manager was very good.

Howler Hideaway
The Howler Hideaway was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The place was clean and super spacious and located perfectly in between downtown Quepos and the touristic part of town. The location was 5/10 minutes from any restaurant or tourist shops and about 10/15 minutes from any beach.
The house manager Fabian provided outstanding service. We were able to be in touch with him before the trip to plan our excursions and he organized everything down to the pick up and drop off (fishing day trip and ATV). He was also always available if we had any questions regarding things in the house or suggestions on places to eat.
The pool area was a nice touch, even though we did not spend much time there but was perfect for a quick relax and also grilling our fresh caught tuna from the day trip.
I would highly suggest this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Quepos.

Condo was in a great spot between Quepos and Manuel Antonio which had lots of nearby restaurants and activities to drive to. Great place to stay and enjoyed the pool.

We traveled to the Manuel Antonio area, two weeks ago, and finished up our 10 day stay at this lovely condo. Because we had checked out of another home in the rainforest, we were not sure what we would do with all of our baggage and groceries. We were allowed to leave them in the condo while it was being cleaned from prior renters. We enjoyed several hours in the beautiful pool, and at check-in time, were introduced to this beautiful home. T the decor and design are modern and very soothing. It is a condo complex, so there is not a lot of privacy with all of the windows open. That being said, the views are spectacular. We would highly recommend this to others and would stay here if going back to the area.

We thought we were booking a single home. It was more of a condominium home. But still very nice with a pool. Close to shopping and restaurants. But not walking distance, with kids.
We only did a 2 day stay and went to Manuel Antonio and the beach. We saw lots of monkey's.

I can not say enough about how great the Howler Hideway was to stay. Check-in and out was smooth and easy, staff are very friendly and attentive and the host is top notch. Condo was spotless and stocked with everything you need for a short or long term stay. Staff even offered to clean on a daily basis (more like a hotel). Lots of wildlife including monkeys and mccaws. Pool is great and the bistro across the street is excellent. thank you for hosting us.

We enjoyed our stay here! The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The outdoor kitchen area was under construction, but I could still use the grills out by the pool. The location is great. In between Quepos and Manuel Antonio with a quick taxi ride from anywhere we wanted to go. Fabian was our concierge and was wonderful. He met us at check-in, stayed in communication during our stay and saw us off at check-out. He arranged our guided tour of the national park, got us taxis whenever needed and was there to help with anything we needed. We look forward to staying here again when we make it back to the area. It was great!

This place is really a no brainer. It’s got everything you need whether your on a quick trip with friends or a family vacation. Plus it’s proximity to town and Manuel Antonio National Park is perfect.

We came to Costa Rica to celebrate my wife’s 40th Bday. This rental was great. Would highly recommend if looking at staying in the Quepos or Manuel Antonio area. The concierge Fabian was a great help in booking the things we wanted to do or just making recommendations and reservations for dinner. Sitting by the pool we were able to hear the Howler monkeys around the complex, making the Howler Hideaway live up to its name. We were quite satisfied with this rental.

This was an upstairs condo, was expecting a house and not having to go up and down stairs at our age. Place was clean and good for a short stay, we had a car so getting around was ok for us, but you do need a car. No problems with check in/check out, choose this place because it's hard to find a place that takes dogs. I would recommend staying here.

This place was great. Exactly as expected. We also saw a sloth, and two macaws visited every morn. Even saw monkeys in the distance at 6am. Checkin was a bit of a hiccup as we had no cell service (no wifi until we checked in) and our guy was not there to greet us so trying to reach him was a bit stressful. But other than that, he was very very responsive during our 7 day stay. :)

I highly recommend the Howler Hideaway! It is clean, well kept up and the daily maid service is amazing! Fabian, our concierge was very helpful in helping us get oriented and helpful throughout our stay of two weeks. We loved watching the beautiful birds ( macaws and toucans), monkeys and sloths right out the windows, and the landscaping around the condo is beautiful. It is in a quiet location, but only a few blocks of the main road to either Quepos or Manuel Antonio. We loved our stay at this beautiful condo!

The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and very clean. The road was a little challenging for first time drivers in CR but we got use to it quickly. Fabian, our concierge, was wonderful, very helpful with setting up tours, and very responsive. It was a great choice for two couples.

We stayed here for two nights before our longer stay in Uvita. Condo is very spacious and beds were very comfortable. The property was lush and beautiful. We did not use the pool area but it was beautiful. It was difficult to navigate heavy suitcases on the stepping stone path so pack lightly. WiFi password should be posted in unit. We were initially given the wrong one and due to remote location, we had no ability to communicate. Fortunately we had prearranged a taxi and got to an area where we could reach the manager by phone.
The makings for coffee the first morning, while certainly not required, would be much appreciated. Overall, lovely place if you're staying in Quepos.

Great location & beautiful property
Loved our stay. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms was great for our family of five. Clean & well stocked kitchen. Beautiful big windows that overlooked jungle. Great pool. And fantastic location. Away from Main Street, but close to taxi into town, beaches & National park. 10/10. Would stay here again. Andrés was a fantastic host. Went above & beyond for us booking tours and even finding me transport to the airport (after we had checked out!)

Amazing Rio Mono
The property was so beautiful and in a great location… right in the middle of the rainforest. It was very well maintained and modern looking. Our favorite part was walking outside and bird/animal watching. We ended up seeing Toucans and a Sloth near this property (which were the two things us folks from Texas didn’t want to leave without seeing). Andres was very helpful, he spotted the sloth around the property and communicated that with us right away. He also helped us find a great tour guide for our excursions. The pool looked beautiful at night with all the lights, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great time in Rio Mono
We had an excellent time at Rio Mono. The property was beautiful, in the living room it feels like you're in a tree house with the wrap around windows. The pool was the perfect temperature on a sunny day. Everything worked well, the washer/dryer, A/C, etc.
Housecleaners came every day and did a great job at coming while we were out. We always came back to a clean house. The property manager Andres was great too. We had an issue with hot water in the morning, and within 20 minutes of messaging Andres, the problem was fixed! Anytime we needed help or suggestions from Andres, he responded incredibly fast.

Wonderful experience
The condo was very spacious and modern. It was just enough space for the eight of us . As soon as we arrived the macaws were hanging out right in front of our condo. We enjoyed bird watching . The greenery around the place was amazing.

Secluded Paradise
Beautiful condo centrally located in Manuel Antonio area. Included all the basic amenities and pool and bbq was a plus. Location of the unit was perfect for viewing macaws and of the jungle. We loved this place! Andres was very responsive and helpful prior to and throughout our stay.

The property is very nice, just as described and pictured. Check-in was easy, place was clean, and pool was lovely. Showers could be improved. It is down a bumpy lane way and is a 20 minute walk to town but there is convenient parking if you have a car.

Loved our stay. Went with girlfriends and place was very spacious and clean. Pool very clean and communication with Andres was so helpful and efficient. Got to see some great wildlife off of the balcony as well including monkeys, sloths and macaws. Thank you for a great stay!

Gorgeous Property, be 1 with Nature
I absolutely loved my stay at Valle Pura Vida. We stayed at Howler Monkey and the compound was gorgeous! The architecture and attention to detail thorough out was truly amazing. If you are a nature lover this place is perfect for you as there are animals roaming close by and a trail where you can visit a nearby waterfall. Don't even need to visit an animal park lol. We saw lizards, monkeys, sloths and beautiful birds and parrots in the surrounding area. We were also less than 10 minutes from great restaurants and beautiful beaches. Our property manager Andres provided excellent customer service. Answered all my questions and guided me to the best food spots and beaches in the area. We had the best time and would definitely recommend staying at this villa

We enjoyed this spacious Condo we’re very comfortable. I would suggest bringing coffee filters and salt and pepper as non were to be found in the kitchen. There isn’t a dishwasher
Also bring laundry detergent if you plan a long stay. The pool area was lovely as well as the cabanas.

This property was immaculate. We saw monkeys and macaws outside on the porch. My only complaint would be the description on vbro on how to get there. We were lost for quite some time with out whatsapp and it was difficult to find, parking is also kind of limited. Other than that everything was amazing and I would most def stay here again . Andres was super helpful!!!

Pura Vida Experience
This property was secluded, but close to the main road. Beautiful grounds, clean comfortable units. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. We saw monkeys, parrots and some of the guests saw sloths. I highly recommend this property.

Family Vacation
The property was beautiful. It was really tucked away and we were able to see the sloths and tons of birds. Andres was very attentive. We had a couple of minor issues and he resolved them within a couple of hours on a Sunday.
