Beautiful cottage everything we needed and more. Cottage was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Location was very quiet. The cottage was surprisingly spacious even with 3 adults staying there.

We had difficulty getting the car in the garage, very tight turn to get into the parking space attached to the cottage - would be okay for a small car. After the first night we parked the car on the main road as you went out of the village.

Garage was a bit tight to navigate for a Berlingo. It would be good to provide logs on request or suggest people bring their own for the wood burner.

Very cosy with everything you need

couldn’t of hoped for a more suitable accommodation for us and our dog. Great location, nice walks nearby plus parking in the garage was fun getting in and out of :0) really clean and comfortable and great value for money. the Tower Bank Arms is 1 minute walk away and really is a great place to eat. will be back!

there’s nothing not to like, if I had to criticise anything it would be the mattress being too soft but I’m a fusspot when it comes to beds being 100+ kilos!

Cosy clean and amazing location!

It was perfect

The cottage was home from home, cosy and comfortable and well equipped with all you need.

The parking could be an issue for some, we managed as able bodied and 6 year old able to walk the short distance to available parking…though the National Trust didn’t seem that keen on us parking in their car park as the cottage blurb had suggested was ok. You wouldn’t want to leave vehicle outside property as farm vehicles squeeze past!
