Wonderful week. Lots of nature to explore in the area. House was very clean. Fire pit and pond area were great. Kids loved the games in the garage.

This was a great vacation had by all. The property was beautiful and well kept. The house had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Everyone in our party was very pleased with everything. The pontoon boat was great. There was lots of fishing, kayaking and swimming. Pam was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property!

This house was perfect in many ways! 1.The pond was great to swim and had a beautiful walk down to it. 2. Games in the garage was quite entertaining for the little ones. 3. The location was quite and peaceful. 4. The house had all the amenities one would need. Pam, the host was responsive to any questions! A side note, if you do have littles, about 5 and under the house can be tricky. The stairs might not be suitable but there is a gate at the top!

We had an amazing time! Loved the lake, nice and private! Kayaked daily, played in the sand, bonfires, playing cards at the awesome kitchen table. Loved every minute!!

Our family of 5 (husband & I & 3 daughters, ages: 17, 15, 12) had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on Long Pond. The house was immaculate and so adorably decorated in modern rustic cabin flair. It had everything we needed to live comfortably for the week. Even the kitchen items were a lot nicer than previous places we've stayed. The pots and pans didn't stick everything to them, the knives actually were sharp (even a couple of Cutco ones!), the grill was a Weber. The furniture was gorgeous, solid wood and comfortable! I think the water was well water but it was put through a filtration, softener system so not overly noticeable well water taste. (The water was soft so took a bit longer to rinse off the soap.) The kayaks were so nice to have to use along with the dock and slide. I thought we would have a better view of Lake Brantingham. It was across the street,other houses were in the view. We fished on the pond from the shore or on the kayaks. We enjoyed nearby hiking trails and viewing Agers Falls. We were bummed that we weren't able to rent the pontoon boat that Pam referenced from Jeff Petrosky as it was already booked for the week. We ended up renting a pontoon boat from Grant Island (John Paul Pfeiffer) that I would definitely NOT recommend. It was covered in duct tape that flaked off on you when you sat on it, there were no doors/gates, no ladder or bars to get back into the boat when swimming, and no anchor. Was not safe at all and more expensive than Jeff's!

Rental was exactly as advertised and then some. Kitchen / dining was great for the group. Loved our stay!

Clean & like new, very comfortable we enjoyed our stay. Would have been nice if fire wood was available on site to use with the outdoor fire pit.

Our crew had another amazing stay! We all love staying at this place, making memories and having many belly laughs at the dining table! Can’t wait to hopefully stay again next year.

We really enjoyed our stay last week. The house is fairly new and beautifully crafted on a very pretty property. We enjoyed swimming in or just sitting by the pond which was very quiet and had a dock with a slide that my two grandsons really loved! It was great to have paddle boards, and kayaks. Many nights, we sat around the long dining room table doing puzzles or playing games, too. We took day trips to Alexandria Bay and Utica, and found Alger Falls, Lyons Falls and Whetstone Park fun places to visit locally. Thank you Pam!

First impression: spacious, clean, fantastic kitchen, lots of gathering spaces, beautiful waterfront, airy, lots of windows. Take-home memories: kayaking and playing 18 holes at the local golf club in the rain. Jumping off the raft, more kayaking, drinking coffee at the bistro table watching the kids and their parents playing in the water, the quiet, and the sparkle of the sunshine on the water the rest of the week. Special memories: 17 yr old grandson's first birdie (!), teaching our 14 year old grandson to play euchre (which we then played every night at the poker table), sitting at the expansive dining table and enjoying good food and conversation, but mostly, it was the beauty of the house and the feeling of calm and peacefulness on the pond.

We found the rental to be immaculate and tastefully decorated with Adirondack decor. Our grandsons, 14 and 11, had a wonderful time. The fishing in the pond is great and they caught a lot of bass. It was especially nice for them since several kayaks were available to them. Having the freedom to go out on the pond, knowing there were no motor boats was a hit. Renters should be aware of the layout - three stories, with the kitchen/dining area on the third floor is a lot if you have issues. Also, the linen package includes all bedding, but not enough towels for everyone, and we only had eight people. The house sleeps 12. Overall, this rental is wonderful.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property, we rode ATV’s right from the house, went on a day trip to the water park in Old Forge, spent an afternoon at the rock slides, and relaxed with swims in the pond and evening campfires. The house came perfectly equipped and the location is great. Our family had a great stay. Thank you

The house was beautiful and fit our families well. The one downside is the fact that the living room is on the bottom level, the master bedroom / bath and another full bath is on the second level and the kitchen, 1/2 bath and 2 bedrooms were on the top level. Not good for someone who has trouble with stairs. It was good exercise for us! We had the pond to ourselves and was very peaceful. Swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing were fun. The lake across the street is fun especially if you rent a boat or jet ski.

We had a wonderful long weekend staying at this property! House was beautiful and very clean. Pond was great for fishing, swimming and kayaking. Lake was right across the road and easy to access. Rented a pontoon boat for a day as well! Would rent again for sure!

Overall this rental was beautiful inside and out!! It had plenty of space for our group of 10. I was very grateful there were bicycles and corn hole boards on site because we did not have room to bring either. The outside space was truely tranquil, whether we were sitting by the fire pit or high top table listening to the birds chirp and feeling the wind on our face or if we were sitting by the private pond enjoying the kyaks and teaching the kids about fishing!! Whenever we left the house to enjoy an activity elsewhere, our young children asked when we could go back to the house!!! Our two complaints are there were no air conditioners in the windows, (as advertised) so the 2 80 degree days were not pleasant in the house, and the stairs between the kitchen and grill outside made it difficult to cook/transport the meals. But again, overall it was a fun and relaxing week spent with family....very worth the rent!

You know how they joke that vacationing with little kids is just like parenting at home, but with a better view? In this case, not only was the view amazing (you can see both lakes from the house), but the property is great for kids! The little beach was just right for them to swim and test out kayaking. When we would get tired of swimming, foosball and air hockey were quite a hit. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking away from home. We enjoyed nightly campfires, hiking nearby, and look forward visiting again!

Beautiful property on a quiet pond. Well equipped with kayaks and paddle boards for all of our kids. You can't beat the view. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Our group loved everything about it. We are familiar with the area and loved that the Pine Tree Inn was close by. Our party of 10 had the best time and spent hours laughing so hard sitting at that big, beautiful table. Amenities were great, location was great for SxS, lake and pond are very close by. Can’t wait to hopefully rent this place again in the future.

The house was amazing, we loved that it was on the more peaceful Long Pond. Will definitely recommend to all family and friends who visit!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The property is beautiful and well-maintained with lots of little details that make it special. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were comfortable and everything was clean upon arrival. The kids (ages 2-9) had a blast swimming in the pond, and the adults had fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. There aren't many houses on the pond to begin with, and they seemed mostly empty all week, so it was wonderful having the pond to ourselves! With the toddlers and an infant we needed a quiet place to just park it, rather than being around tons of activity, and if you're looking for the same relaxing getaway, you won't be disappointed here!

The house was beautiful. Just what we were looking for. Plenty of rooms and beds for my family. With access directly on a quiet pond that we were in every day. Such a friendly neighborhood. And very easy to find. The owner and manager were very friendly and helpful. Any questions I had, they answered very quickly. We will definitely be renting again some time

Clean, well-kept, not dated, comfortable beds, huge family table for very busy 3 family “cousins week” of 4 kids age 3- 5 and 6 exhausted parents/grandparents! Pond is sandy, not weedy, and boat rental is directly across a not busy road. One caution if stairs are problematic for a guest, 2 flights to kitchen hub and 2 of the bedrooms can become a challenge. Host very accomodating and responsive!

This property was absolutely amazing! Just the getaway we needed! From the pinecones to the pond, then back to the cozy downstairs lounge, we all had a blast! The house itself was super clean and well organized! We were in love with all of the appliances. The one thing we were not expecting was the amount of stairs (this was a little bit tricky for our elderly family members). In saying this, the amount of detail and personalized work put into the staircase and the house itself was outstanding! It would be silly not to rent this property!

I reserved this property for a small family get together, for just two nights. Everyone just raved about the large, open kitchen/dining area, the decor, the cleanliness and comfort. The outdoor space had everything necessary to enjoy the lovely pond — a picnic table as well as two other seating areas, a grill and a fire pit. The back yard is very peaceful and relaxing, which fit the bill for our group. The kitchen was very well equipped as well. We absolutely hope to return next year!!

I booked this property well in advance and the entire process was very smooth and stress free. The owner was very responsive and answered all of my questions so fast. The description of the place online was very detailed and accurate. It’s such a beautiful house-very accommodating. The bed was very comfortable, the dining room table is huge and wonderful to fit around with all of your guests. The kitchen is fully equipped. I highly recommend this home-it’s great having the game room downstairs with quick easy access to the fire pit and the water. One thing to just be aware of is it is 3 levels so there are 2 flights of stairs which can be difficult for some-wasn’t an issue for us just good to know. Great place! I recommend!
