Our group of 6 really enjoyed this house. The layout was great for us, with the bedrooms all feeling very cozy and quiet. (It's worth noting that the bunk bed room is only accessible THROUGH the master bedroom, which wasn't an issue for us but I don't know if we realized that ahead of time). The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. We enjoyed all the different seating areas, from the screen porch to outdoor dining table and the cozy living room. We also enjoyed relaxing on the dock (and a few folks went for a chilly swim!) Even though the neighbor houses seem quite close, the layout of the house and windows gave us a sense of privacy.

Our family of 10 stayed for 5 nights and found everything provided to be thoughtful and generous. The dock and the pontoon boat were the highlights, and we used the boat every day of our stay. Swimming next to the dock was enjoyable, as was the use of the kayaks and paddle board.
There were a couple of minor problems that were dealt with promptly by the host to our satisfaction. At one point we had 6 cars parked in the driveway and there was ample room for all of them.
We used to have a lakehouse on Hartwell lake and our stay brought back pleasant memories.

We had an amazing time at this property. It was plenty big enough, extremely clean, and one of the most well stocked VRBO’s I’ve done.
Everything about the process was so easy from checking in to check out and everything in between.
The property itself is phenomenal, a great location, hanging on the dock was a blast as was taking the boat out a few times for strolls around the lake.
I can’t see enough good things about our stay and the property itself. We will definitely be looking to book it again one day.

Had another wonderful family Christmas at this beautiful home! Always perfect for my family and has everything we needed. Hosts always wonderful to work with and make sure the home is just perfect.

The house was great! We had a great time. We enjoyed the openness of the downstairs where we all could gather and enjoy each others company. We cooked most of the meals there and used the grill and flat top grill. Everything worked great! All the bedrooms worked out perfectly.

This house was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and as described in VRBO. Rick and Johanna were very responsive and accommodating. It is a 25 minute drive to campus, but I would highly recommend if visiting Clemson with a big group.

The property was great and well equipped with plenty of space to hang out. The pontoon rental was so convenient for a nice day on the lake. Overall super fun long weekend!

Our family had such a nice time at the lake house. The house layout was perfect for us, clean, spacious and well equipped. The host communicated well and in a timely manner with anything we needed. It was so nice to be able to rent the pontoon with the house as well. We would definitely come again!

This property was just as described and more! We just hate we couldn't stay longer to enjoy all the amenities that come with the property. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Lake and views were beautiful! Would definitely rent this property again.

Clean house on nice property by the lake. Dock was great for coffee in the mornings and the house was clean and well stocked. Overall a nice place to visit and would love to be able to come back!

Wow - what a wonderful week we had at your home! We loved everything from having a fully equipped kitchen to the very short distance to the dock! We had plenty of room and I was so happy with all of the supplies that came with the house (which usually never happens). The owners were very responsive when contacted and were very accommodating.
Loved everything about this property and am already looking at dates for our return next year!

Communication with the property owner was excellent. The house was the best stocked house for kitchen items that we have ever stayed at. The house was in great condition with all TVs working. The dock with the property was very well built and very functional. Everyone loved the place and had a great time.

Lake house heaven
We booked this house for July 4 week for our family (adult children with us) . So happy they bought a boat and were able to offer that for an additional fee. It was perfect. Floating do go t off the dock and the lake is ginormous so this bring in a cove was a great location. Getting up and down to the dock was easy (a hill). House is comfy and can seat a total of 10 in the dining area so was perfect. The 6th bedroom - bunk bed room- it’s not actually adjacent to the master - it’s INSIDE the master. We were happy we didn’t end up needing to use it as that would have been a game changer for us. There were deer each evening just down the street. Boat ramp really close as we had a waverunner. We had 10 people overall for the week but 8 was the most at one time. Perfect - remote and quiet - we floated and boated the whole time.

Amazing time.
We had an amazing time. This place was very spacious, very clean, and well stocked. The beds were one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on at vacation home. The host answered all my questions and were very helpful. We rented the hosts"s boat and it was very nice pontoon boat. We made memories to last a lifetime here. Great Lake Rental
We very much enjoyed our stay at this lake house. We have rented a lot of vacation homes and this was, by far, the best stocked house we ever stayed at. Everything we could think of was provided by the hosts.
The lake is an easy walk straight out from the house as well and the dock and lake are great.
The hosts were also very responsive when we had questions.
The only thing I would flag for others traveling with young kids who are planning to use the bunk room is that it is not only attached to the master bedroom, but can only be accessed through the master the bedroom - meaning, if the kids need to get up in the middle of the night, they must go through the master bedroom.
Otherwise, a great stay and we would definitely rent this property again.

Beautiful quiet space with plenty of wildlife.
This house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation or getaway. Super Clean and Plenty of Space. We had 9 in our group and always had our own space. The views from in and out of the house are very nice as there are plenty. If you rent thw boat, you will not be disapointed....it is very new and well kept.

Amazing house and property! The BEST!
This homeowner goes above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need for their stay. We had a group of 10 and were all very comfortable. Space to all sit and eat, as well as gather for games. And space to get away from everyone and nap! Felt like home right away. Communication was easy. Host replied to questions very quickly. Easy check-in and out. The property is on a very quiet inlet of Lake Hartwell. Paddle boarding, kayaking, and just sitting on the dock was so peaceful. We had a wonderful time with family just being together and relaxing. This is the perfect house for extended family or friends. Too many positives to even list them all! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! This Florida family will be back!

Excellent family get together
Sleeping arrangements are always tough wth 11 people but this house was great. All big size beds, no squeezing 2 people into a full. Kitchen was open and big, somehow we all like to congregate there and it worked out well. Loved the covered dock, kept us out of the sun. And had a blast with the kayaks and paddle board. We may be repeating this trip again next year. Maybe a few more kitchen towels and a better dish scrubber?

Perfect Lake House
Flat yard, great view, good house set up and close off the highway. Clean and well labeled/stocked. Will come back for sure. Only thing I would add is a fire pit in the yard.

Great place!
We had a group of 10 adults and this place was perfect for us! We were just here to stay on the lake all day for 5 days and that's exactly what we did. The kitchen was stocked for all the meals we cooked. The dock was perfect for all of us to hang on. The boat for perfectly in the slip. The water was lovely, cove was quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen seated us all. Porch was great for the guys roulette night. We really enjoyed this house!!

Heaven
We had the best time! The house is perfect and pictures don’t do it justice!!! Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is huge and we love to cook. The dock was great for the boat with the cover and the kids loved the lights at night when fishing. Easy walk down to the dock especially for our older dog. We hope to stay here again next year. Definitely a 5 start house!!!!

Awesome Lake House
This house was awesome! The kids loved the sunroom. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The kitchen was great for making large meals. The back deck & dock areas were great spaces. Definitely would recommend for your next family vacation.

Best Vacation Ever
The whole vacation was perfect. The house was very spacious enough for 5 adults and 5 kids to sleep almost in our own beds. The house looks brand new. The kitchen had everything. The lake was a few steps from the back porch. We rented a boat and had a blast maneuvering around Lake Hartwell. Will be returning…..

Perfect Hideout
My family completely enjoyed this stay. The host was very responsive before and during our stay. The neighborhood is peaceful and serene. Food & entertainment is about 20-30mins out but easily accessible from the highway. There’s more than enough room for everyone to come together for fun and have personal space where desired.

Great Spring Break
We found this beautiful, huge house on the lake with easy access to the dock just in time for Spring Break! The property was clean and the yard, flowers, and budding trees were amazing. The quick drive to stores, marina, and restaurants was convenient. Definitely a great family vacation home!

This property was absolutely fantastic and highly recommend. The property owner responded almost immediately to general questions even when I prompted that it wasn’t urgent.
Home was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to entertain a large group and the extra kitchen / freezer in the laundry room made storing groceries for an extended stay simple.
Even with it raining a majority of our stay we had a wonderful 5 days on the property - we just didn’t get to use the dock / outside options very much. We had a total of 6 adults and 4 kids and everyone had a blast.

This property was easy to find, and had plenty of room for 4 kids & 2 adults. The beds were comfortable & everything you can think of was available! Highly recommend!!
