An experience
First of all Gaetan and Christina were very accommodating hosts. They even bought a new basketball hoop for us to enjoy! My 16yr old dachshund was able to come last minute when his doggy sitter had to cancel last minute. This just really shows how they are truly about the guest experience. They were kind, helpful, easy to work with and this made our overall experience even better. Having hosts like them made the property even more amazing. Multi gated property where me and my kids felt safe. You definitely feel like you are in a secluded area but still close 10-15 drive down for grocery shopping. The house is amazing! The great kitchen (which our private chef enjoyed as well), the pool and jacuzzi, outdoor bbq with a wood burning pizza oven (a hit with the kids and adults), vineyard, chickens, fire pit, garden and long outdoor dining area overlooking the valley are many of the things to enjoy here. Oh and we miss their coffee bar! Which is a dream for coffee lovers. We will be planning to come back, and hopefully stay longer than 8 days. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Gaetan and Christina!

Clos de Chene is a beautifully appointed home, sitting on wonderfully maintained grounds (including a small vineyard). Christina, the property manager, lives nearby, which led to a terrific and simple check-in process, and immediate answers to questions as we settled in for a long stay.
We were there with friends and family for my wife’s 60th birthday, and everyone felt comfortable and welcomed in one of the 5 bedrooms available. The kitchen is a dream, including the outdoor cooking area, and the living room and dining room are immense and yet somehow cozy.
This is a one-of-a-kind property, perfect for special occasions. Highly recommended.

Fantastic luxury home
Overall a wonderful experience, we stayed here with 9 friends for a homey wine weekend. The property is about 10 minutes off the highway but feels like you’re out in the Tuscan countryside. Very well designed private getaway, yet close to the Russian River & Dry Creek wineries. The chefs kitchen, and outdoor kitchen including a pizza oven were a huge hit. Would highly recommend!

Great property + better hosts
Amazing weekend. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Christina was so easy to work with. One night, we were a little louder than we realized and she was very understanding and called me to let me know. Would definitely consider staying here again, hopefully soon.

Family vacation
We rented this house for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration with our family. 10 of us stayed for a week (6 adults, 4 kids). The house was perfect, very spacious. The kids really enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Kitchen was well equipped. Made good use of the outdoor pizza oven. Lots of great outdoor space.
Our goal was to create a fun memorable experience for our family that we’ll talk about forever. Accomplished!!

Much needed luxury weekend escape
We absolutely loved our experience at this beautiful property! Pool time for the kids, plenty of room to cook large family meals in the kitchen, comfortable large bedrooms, great outdoor seating options... plus easy and clear communication with the wonderful owner and property manager, Christina, who saw to all our needs! Perfect Family Vacation
Our family stayed at this beautiful property for 20 days in July. Our group included six adults and four children ranging in from 3 to 9 years old. The house is spacious with plenty of room for our three families, we could come together but room for privacy too. This became a Covid 19 vacation and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The home and property are even more beautiful than the pictures and the house is amazingly stocked with everything that you need from cooking spices to beach towels! We are already talking about returning next summer. Hopefully we will be able to go to restaurants and wineries then. Christina is a wonderful hostess! She greeted us warmly and was available to answer all our questions. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at this lovely home.

Wonderful house!
Our family with teens loved staying at this large, very private home. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The kitchen is well-equiped. We enjoyed eating al fresco at night, and the pizza oven is a great addition. It’s very clean too.

This place is so incredible. Pictures cannot do the property justice. The pool, the outdoor kitchen, the outdoor dining table and fireplace!

Ideal Family getaway if you like to cook and chill
This is a terrific property if you like to chill by the pool, play random games like bocce and cornhole and grill. The experience felt like we had our own little enclave in Italy or South of France. Absolutely loved it and used every square inch of the property for some kind of fun.

Great house
Celebrated my wife’s birthday with the whole family and the house was fantastic. It has the Wow factor and we liked the privacy it offers. Hot tub and swimming pool was a big bonus and would love to come back in the summer. Christina was very helpful and made everything very easy for us.

Spectacular Spot for Family Fathering
The property was as great as advertised, with exceptionally helpful managers greeting us at check in, and available within minutes when we had questions. We stayed over Christmas, with a family group of 9, and the property could not have been more perfect, from comfortable beds, to a fully outfitted kitchen.

Outstanding property
The property is just gorgeous. We took advantage of every bit of it. Used the pizza oven for dinner one night and it was great. Used the pool and the hot tub and both the propane fire pit and the outside fireplace. Everything was as advertised. Highly recommend.

Girls Getaway
Some background - we were in a pickle with an unexpected power outage at our original reservation was cancelled. The host was extremely timely and responsive to any questions asked. They continuously checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. As for the house, it was absolutely stunning, clean and comfortable. We couldn't be more fortunate and appreciative to have been able to stay here!!!

Excellent Property!
Stay was wonderful. House was clean, check in was easy. Gaiton was wonderful to work with, and very accommodating. He even arranged for us to hire a private chef for the week.

Our stay was simply amazing. We were a group of five couples so were not expecting to have much privacy for the weekend. This estate had the perfect separation of space. Also, I have rented many properties and they typically have that "rental" feel. This property feels like a true home. Gaetan personally greeted us at the front door and was friendly and attentive to our every need when we requested his service. We certainly hope to have the opportunity to stay there again. Thank you Gaetan for our wonderful stay.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Clos du Chene and Gaetan...the home is immaculate and perfect for our group of 5 couples. There is everything you could possibly need in the home and plenty of room to spread out and relax. Gaetan met us upon arrival and was the perfect host. We can't wait for our next trip to Sonoma and will definitely be staying at Clos du Chene!

I stayed here for a special celebration with my dearest friends to celebrate my 50th. I looked for a long time for a home that could host 10 adults that was special and where each person could have a 'real' bed. The property exceeded all expectations, starting with the stunning location and home, being 20 minutes from the Santa Rosa Airport, the pool, the music streaming system, the walking paths, the large entertaining spaces (in and out) - I could go on and on. But then, there's more :-) Gaetan made our experience even more special, making us feel so welcome, being so available to answer questions (within seconds), and to help us make the most of our stay. He also was helpful before we even arrived giving us caterer and other service recommendations, and answering my silly planning questions. It was a rare occasion where the home, setting and service made an already perfect holiday even more rewarding. I couldn't recommend this property more and want to express by gratitude to Gaetan.

Gaetan and Lisa are incredible hosts and lovely people. We appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. The property is incredible, the pizza oven a hit, the pool and hot tub relaxing, outdoor fireplace for late night family time laughs made the week. It is not to be missed! We will be back...for sure
