My family and I (a party of 8) enjoyed our week in this agreeable home with an open floorpan capable of accommodating widely different activities at the same time—i.e., meal prep, watching sports, playing games, tying flies, working, curling up with a book. (And the upstairs was insulated enough to allow someone to take a quick nap and not be bothered by all going on below.) Everything was very clean, and both bath and beach towels were plentiful and fluffy. All beds and air mattress are doubles, so don't count on sleeping quarters for 8 or 10 if you have people who are not partnered. (This is not super evident in the description, and the sofas, while comfortable, are not for sleeping.) The ping pong table in the garage was a godsend for the kids when they weren't at the beach. The park across the street has tennis, bocce ball, and volleyball courts, and the pickleball courts at Tomlinson School (a 5-minute drive) also got a workout from our group. We easily rented scooters for trips to and from the beach when we didn't need to transport beach paraphernalia. Outside, we felt the grill, backyard table, and shade coverage should be larger for a house that accommodates 10, and once or twice we were unhappily aware of the proximity of the town dump. All in all, though, it was a lovely stay and the owners and their stand-in were responsive.

This home was lovely and had everything we needed. The house was clean, the owner provided plenty of nice linen as well as household supplies and beach chairs. Ping pong table in the garage was an added bonus.

We were visiting family in the area and this house was a perfect place to stay and easily accommodated big family dinners. The house is beautiful, very spacious , and there is a great park next door with sand volleyball, playground, and a family of deer! The yard is on smaller side but still perfect for yard games. My husband and I enjoyed morning coffee on the small balcony. The guys enjoyed nightly ping pong marathons! The nearby Jennings beach is perfect for families. There is a lot of traffic on Reef Rd and a lot of heavy equipment/trucks turn at the intersecting road beside the house during the week. We are a kinda loud group so this wasn’t much of an issue but if you are looking for a quiet week you will notice this. The property owner is great, gets back to you promptly and has great local recommendations! If you stay go to Bud’s deli a few blocks down the street…it’s not fancy but the best breakfast sandwiches ever!

This home was perfect for celebrating my birthday weekend. Listing is extremely accurate and everything went smoothly.

We had an extended stay here on Reef rd. It was wonderful. The location was perfect for us. Right across from a big park. Close enough to the beach and downtown. Summers in Fairfield near the beach can be a little rowdy and that rang true. Expect a little noise on Friday and Saturday during the summer nights.

This stunning house was a great location for a family beach trip. It is a short walk to Penfield and Jennings beaches. It was very clean. The host answered questions quickly and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities.

It was a very good experience. The house was in great condition and more than accommodating for our stay. The host was gracious enough to let us check in a bit early as well. The beach chairs and ping pong table in the garage were a nice touch as well.

The property is very nice. Unfortunately the location is right next to the entrance where school buses are stored and the sanitation transfer station. So you will hear a lot of truck noise. Proximity to the beach is not bad. However most of the beach access is private. There is one area where someone can drop you off but that person then has to walk several blocks to meet up with the group. During our visit unfortunately the Whirlpool tub was broken.
