Relaxing weekend away from the chaos of every day life. We enjoyed the lake views from the screened in porch and from the hot tub. The home is very comfortable and well equipped. The only thing I wished we had done was bring firewood to enjoy a fire in the pit down by the lake.

Lovely cabin on the lake. Very nicely decorated, extremely clean, great decks and fishing dock! Highly recommend for any age.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The cabin was fantastic. The lake was relaxing. We all enjoyed hanging out, kayaking, swimming, fishing, grilling, playing cards, etc! Our only issue was we all agreed 2 full days was not enough.

We were just looking for a quiet place to stay while we took care of some family matters in Kentucky. Everything at the lake house was much more than we expected . We enjoyed it so much that we’re planning on taking the grandkids next year !

The cabin is set in a beautiful area. So peaceful and relaxing. The natire sounds and views are absolutely rewarding.

We had such a great time. Sitting on the dock and fishing all day. We caught Blue Gill,catfish, small mouth bass and some turtles...lol. At night we grilled out and retreated back inside the beautiful lake house which had all the comforts of home. Take some DVD's with you when you visit. There's no cable TV so having the movies to watch was nice. We definitely rate our stay with 5 stars. Thanks for allowing us to really unplug and get the much needed rest and relaxation!

We enjoyed our stay! House was clean and as described in the listing. We enjoyed swimming/fishing from the dock and relaxing in the hot tub after day trips to Paducah riverfront and some of the beautiful trails of SNF.

Loved this little cabin on the lake from the moment we drove up. Pics do not do justice. Quiet, picturesque, clean, cozy, I could go on! My kids loved the variety of wildlife from the little fish, frogs and turtles and tadpoles to the geese and heron all right out the back porch. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful over the lake. Forgot our fishing poles but would bet there is some great fishing to be had. Nice touches were the array of games, the washer and dryer, and sound machines in both bedrooms. And of course, the hot tub! Probably the best maintained/cleanest hot tub I’ve ever been in with a very relaxing setting!!! My son is already asking when we are going back! So many things to do close by. All the following within 40 min driving - Fern Cliffe State park is a must, breathtaking trails. Eat breakfast at Longhorn cafe before your day and you won’t be disappointed! Enjoyed Garden of the Gods and Burden Falls as well, stopped for great ice cream at Garden of the Gods outpost. River Discovery Center in Paducah is very educational and interactive for kids of all ages. A lot of history! Everyone we encountered was very friendly. All in all such a great trip and we loved having this little piece of heaven for two nights of great family memories!!!

Stayed for 2 days and place was nice but lawn unkept by lake no chairs around fire pit and very fragrant with air fresheners spider webs all over w big spiders bushes and outside not kept up at all the air fresheners would be ok if you don’t have asthma and allergies but very loud air freshener smell on everything including pillows very nice owners to deal with but just a few flaws that kind of made the place not for us

This was one of the nicest rental homes we have been in. It was spacious for two to four people although we only had two. and so fresh and clean! The view was wonderful and would have loved to bring a kayak but I didn’t this time. It was quiet and lots of nature to take in on the screened in porch. Sounds of birds and frogs made it very peaceful in the mornings. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days of hiking! Hosts were so kind and answered any of our questions promptly. Would love to stay here again sometime!

A friend and I stayed the weekend and absolutely loved this place. Very clean, a wonderful screened in porch with view of the lake, great hot tub. All we would want or need. We will definitely return. Thank you!

Very quite and enjoyable weekend in November

This was an easy experience from start to finish. Everything was great. Easy communication with owners.

Exceptional

The retreat cabin was the perfect setting. The area was beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor space the most since it was beautiful fall weather. We enjoyed grilling, sitting in the hot tub and fishing off the dock. The stars at night were incredible.

We had such an amazing weekend getaway! We had amazing views of the changing fall leaves. I think we could have sat on the deck the entire time. The hot tub was relaxing. The cabin was clean and well stocked. It was everything we needed to unplug and relax.

We enjoyed the property and it was all very clean and easy to relax at.

We recently stayed a week and it was the best vacation we have taken. The Retreat Cabin had everything we needed. My Son-N-Love and grandson had a wonderful time fishing. My daughter and I relaxed and caught up on life. We all talked about our next trip and agreed to reserve this property again. It was amazing. I thank God for providing the resources to make this trip available to us. Can't wait until we go again. We all hated to leave.
