This place was wonderful! It was very clean and located on a quiet place on the lake. Each couple having their own bathroom was a plus, and an additional powder room was nice. The screened in porch was nice- there were no mosquitoes to worry about! It was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

OK so this is the second year we stayed here both times seven nights. Unbelievable beautiful sunsets. Bring your binoculars the view was Incredible. Wade is awesome. Not only the owner but your friend . Stop looking around. This place has everything. I’m not yelling. I’m Italian.

Our family had an amazing stay at this pristine condo. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and was stocked with paper products, cascade pods, foil, etc. Beds were incredibly comfortable too! Check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow and we greatly appreciated the welcome letter that Wade provided, especially the information on boat trailer storage since we brought our own boat. The location was great as we were in a quiet, peaceful area but also about 5 minutes from groceries and restaurants. We highly recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a truly exceptional stay at Smith Mountain Lake.

We loved the condo. It was clean, we loved the little extra touches that made our stay great. The condo was large enough that everyone had their own space. The screened porch was definitely a hit. Having access to the dock and a slip for our rented boat was also great. This was our first trip to the area and will not be our last.

This was our first time staying in a VRBO. We were coming from Minnesota to attend our son’s college graduation. and this house was a very pleasant surprise. Furnished beautifully, spotless throughout and thoughtful details from the owner. Communication was easy. House was intimate and we had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Upon arrival snacks, condiments and other goodies greeted us. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their home as well as their guests. We felt well taken care of.

Our stay was wonderful! We had everything we needed to make this a first time vacation at Smith Mountain Lake. The condo was very clean and great space for 5 of us. We took advantage of the 2 kayaks and we were able to dock our boat which was very convent! We would highly recommend this rental and to take a vacation at Smith Mountain Lake! We look forward to coming back again!

Wade's townhome is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. Everything was as described, and communication was excellent both before our arrival and during our stay. We had a little hiccup with the key lockbox that Wade helped remedy immediately.
We took full advantage of the townhome's dock and Wade's kayaks. We went out twice during our short stay, and had a wonderful time.
The unit is in a part of the lake that is a bit away from the busier portions, so it is pretty serene right outside the unit.
The bed was comfy, the bathrooms were clean, the TV and WI-FI worked, lots of board games and puzzles around if you need some non-technology entertainment, and you are located 2 miles from a grocery store and other shopping areas. Don't know what else we could ask for, and we would stay again.

Place is very clean, nice quiet spot on the lake. We took out the included kayaks and fished around the area. Beautiful, especially at sunset. Great hosts and nice overall process.

This is a lovely end townhouse unit on the water. The neighborhood is very nice, and the area wasn’t busy since the weather was chilly. The host was an excellent communicator and answered questions quickly. With that said, I have 2 complaints. The first deals with having to wash all of the dishes we used and put them away prior to leaving. How does the host know we cleaned them? How do we know the person before us did? Apparently this is due to Covid, but it makes absolutely no sense. It seems like the cleaning person would be able to handle that better than the visitors. We also thought the fact that we had to take the trash with us was a bit much. We paid a cleaning fee, and this was not a cheap stay. The additional insurance we had to pay for was also something we hadn’t expected. All in all, it was a lovely place, and we enjoyed our stay, but I don’t know that we would do it again because of all the excessive fees, and the fact that we had to clean the place like it was our own home.

We had a great time at the rental condo. The condo was beautiful and fully furnished with everything we needed. The location was perfect - far enough removed to enjoy the lake and quiet but close to shopping, the marina, and restaurants.

Townhouse is beautiful, bright and airy. It has all the amenities you could hope for. Very relaxing, enjoyed seeing the deer in the mornings across the water. It was nice to be able to kayak from our dock. Enjoyed several local restaurants, absolutely loved Old Oak Cafe - the Belgium Waffle! Also had a great time at Spring Valley Farms horseback riding.

The location was absolutely perfect. Most beautiful views from morning to sundown. Access to the lake could not have been easier or more convenient. The luxury of having the boat slip was great as well. Clean and comfortable home. Would stay again for sure.

This was a great change of scene and pace for us. The location was wonderful and tranquil. The property was well maintained and a welcoming bottle of Sangria greeted us! Nice touch! A good starter set of condiments, cleaning supply and a well stocked kitchen made move in easy. We had two on crutches, so the stairs were a bit daunting but they were good sports about it. A morning heron, and hummingbirds provided entertainment at breakfast, and the on site kayaks made it easy to get out on the lake. Owners were responsive and take pride in this home. We would return again, and recommend to others!

Look no further for an excellent place to relax! This well-appointed and meticulously maintained property is an extension of the natural environment created by an isolated point in a quiet mountain cove. The seamless view from the balconies, upper dock, or screened-in back porch is restful, restorative, and refreshing but within a stone's throw of restaurants and recreation.

Modern convenience
This was our second stay at this rental. We love the convenience to Westlake, the state park and friends in the Penhook area. There is plenty of room for our family to enjoy water sports, cookouts, and marathon Monopoly—a home away from home!

Beautiful escape!
We really enjoyed our stay in your clean, beautiful home just a few steps away from a quiet cove off of Smith Mountain Lake. Your home was exactly as described, incredibly clean and well-equipped. We loved having access to your two kayaks and rented two stand up paddleboards from a local vendor to maximize our time on the water. The dock was beautiful and we had a gorgeous view of the sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed and loved that we were so close to a nice Kroger’s grocery store. There are so many fun activities nearby, including hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. We wanted to visit the wineries too, but ran out of time! We also appreciate you being so responsive to our emails too. We will be back!

My definition of paradise
We loved every minute being here. The house was very clean and absolutely comfortable. The lake views are breathtaking. One thing I wish I would have known to book a boat on advance. Unfortunately nothing was available during our stay, however we enjoyed the kayaks and fishing and the state park beach and community beach were also close by and beautiful. Definitely coming back. The owners made us feel welcomed and answered us at anytime, even when we got locked out the house 😄

Peaceful!
The house was clean, bright, comfortable and came equipped with everything needed to make our stay as convenient as possible. The location is so peaceful and lovely, we spent our mornings sipping coffee on the deck watching bald eagles and deer around the river. And we all got our daily workouts in, going up and down the stairs to the dock, LOL. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

Fun lake vacation
We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the deer, turkeys and birds! Had a great time kayaking and rented a pontoon boat to see other parts of the lake. Condo was super clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Quiet retreat
The location was great - near enough to local attractions and the main body of the lake, but quiet. The space was perfect for our needs, and the owners were even nice enough to childproof for our toddler beforehand. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!

Perfect lake getaway spot
This condo is just as pictured on the website with beautiful lake views. It is comfy, roomy, tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is convenient to stores, restaurants, SML state park and the community park. Kayaks and floats are available for your use which makes for a fun vacation. We'd definitely come back!

Perfect getaway
We had a great time at Smith Mountain Lake. This property was clean, and seemed brand new- despite the weather we had a great time, the dock was perfect for fishing, swimming and exploring. The location is fantastic if you have young kids- ie: close to Kroger, and Booker T , etc.
