close to main street. quiet since only 2 other units occupied.

Unit is small, as is the bathroom. Nowhere to put clothes when you go to have a shower (other than on toilet). Basin taps very close to wall. Fine for a 1 night stay while you are on the way to or from somewhere else.

It was good basic accommodation in a good location in town. It was close to good restaurants and we had a good walk through this historic town. This was basic accommodation at a peak time of year so really no complaints.

Actually checking in was a pain. The door to the room had a keypad to unlock it. We were sent a code to unlock the door which didn't work. Then we rang and got a second code that didn't work either. Tried the Goki app that was suggested in the email that we got, but that didn't work either. Then the girl who worked nearby came and she couldn't open the door with the code either. She got us a key which then worked. She was very helpful and apologetic. There was only one washer in the room. Would have been good to have two, seeing there were two of us.

Convenient, no fuss check in and check out. Clean spacious room. In a great location, with only a short walk to main street with cafes and shops. Will definitely be staying here again.

Difficult to assess staff when there was no o=interaction. No staff were encountered

Contact with guest. I was attending a workshop in town (Braidwood) and didn't receive an email with a code to access room. I called the number provided on the booking email and was greeted by 2 messages. If you have a problem please press ... or if you like someone to get back to you press ... I called early afternoon. No one returned my call. When I arrived at Cedar Lodge, i found no message for me. I called the contact number for Booking.com and the friendly person also tried the number with no success. I found another number on the door of the reception and asked him to call, which he did. He then advised me of the code to access my room. I wasn't very impressed with the lack of response from Cedar Lodge. Whilst they were in a good location in town I'm not sure that i would recommend them in the future.
