close to main street. quiet since only 2 other units occupied.
Unit is small, as is the bathroom. Nowhere to put clothes when you go to have a shower (other than on toilet). Basin taps very close to wall.
Fine for a 1 night stay while you are on the way to or from somewhere else.

It was good basic accommodation in a good location in town. It was close to good restaurants and we had a good walk through this historic town. This was basic accommodation at a peak time of year so really no complaints.
Actually checking in was a pain. The door to the room had a keypad to unlock it. We were sent a code to unlock the door which didn't work. Then we rang and got a second code that didn't work either. Tried the Goki app that was suggested in the email that we got, but that didn't work either. Then the girl who worked nearby came and she couldn't open the door with the code either. She got us a key which then worked. She was very helpful and apologetic. There was only one washer in the room. Would have been good to have two, seeing there were two of us.

Convenient, no fuss check in and check out. Clean spacious room. In a great location, with only a short walk to main street with cafes and shops. Will definitely be staying here again.

Contact with guest. I was attending a workshop in town (Braidwood) and didn't receive an email with a code to access room. I called the number provided on the booking email and was greeted by 2 messages. If you have a problem please press ... or if you like someone to get back to you press ... I called early afternoon. No one returned my call. When I arrived at Cedar Lodge, i found no message for me. I called the contact number for Booking.com and the friendly person also tried the number with no success. I found another number on the door of the reception and asked him to call, which he did. He then advised me of the code to access my room. I wasn't very impressed with the lack of response from Cedar Lodge. Whilst they were in a good location in town I'm not sure that i would recommend them in the future.

great idea of the key being a number pad which was sent to me before we arrived, saves worrying about losing a key and dropping off after stay.
Only fault was one of the bedside lamps globe didn't work. I would have liked a toaster but realize that it may be a fire hazard.

There was no breakfast expected. The location was excellent, in easy walking distance to everything. Linen was clean.
Value for price was poor. Very basic facility. Staying 2 nights I did not expect to have a knock on the door at 9:30 am to see if I wanted room service, not necessary. Staff very nice!! Sunday morning check out is 10 am but the housekeeping trolley over the path at 9 am is not what you want .

Clean, comfortable, affordable. Nice old style motel in the centre of town.
Family room was small and we felt a little cramped. Lighting is intensely bright.

Great location, on a side street right in the centre of town. Probably the cleanest hotel/motel I’ve ever stayed in, the place was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. Great value for money.

This is sgreat small motel with spotless room, good design, lovely linen, great bedside lights. it is in a very central location with very efficient no contact check in .

Although modest the venue was made both stylish and comfortable, plenty of milk, quality toiletries provided. A shady spot under the tree for our motorbike.

I loved the location. I love that you can grab your keys no matter what time. The linen perfect. Almost everything was clean.
I wanted to let you know 1 of the plates was still dirty dried food and grease on it ,needed to be soaked.
Because of this I had to wash what was going to be used before hand.
I have cleaned and owned building and kitchens/cafes and am aware of what to do. I understand that sometimes with wages and time restraints it is extremely important to get it right. Please do not distress over my comment I will happily recommend your premises for further stays. A tiny mint or chocolate on each pillow means alot to a client women see all and know all. Letting people know about the places to helps immensely Thankyou
