Great house and very spacious for up to 6 guests. We absolutely loved our stay here. Location is excellent, walking distance to groceries, restaurants, pubs, etc. Would definitely recommend this property!

My husband and I stayed at Hager House for three nights with our 3-year-old, 8-month-old and my parents, and the accommodation was pretty perfect for a group our size. My parents stayed in the master suite in the basement, which has a bedroom, walk-in shower room and living room. This gave them some space to themselves away from the noise and chaos upstairs being created by two small children! The rest of us stayed in the two upstairs bedrooms (one double and one with two single beds), which share the family bathroom. The setup generally worked well and the rooms were nicely decorated and contained good storage space. However, one negative is that the double bedroom my husband and I shared was very small and there wasn’t much spare floor space around the bed. The main level of the house contains an open plan kitchen and living space, which is really lovely. The house feels incredibly warm and cozy and truly lives up to the pictures! We tried out the fireplace and the hot tub and both are really nice features of the house. The host was incredibly responsive via email and was really accommodating when I asked if we could check in early. She even popped over to the house to make sure we had everything we needed and to explain how everything in the house worked. She left nice little touches everywhere to make our trip much easier, such as stocking the kitchen with tea, coffee and milk, and the laundry room with detergent etc. We would definitely recommend Hager House!

The house is clearly a 1940's post war era 1.5 story, fully renovated home. The renovations are tasteful and very functional. Groceries are within walking distance. Highly recommended for being close to Burlington downtown.

This is a very cozy home in a cute and safe area. We felt very at home with plenty of room and all the extras from beach towels for the hot tub to cozy blankets and a fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked as well. The downstairs area was perfect for my teenager as he loved the extra private space. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay. The house was cute as can be, super close to downtown area - with waking distance. Getting to Toronto was super easy by getting on the Go Train.Our Hostess Martli gave us some fabulous recommendations on things to do, must sees & food. This was a great house to come home & relax by the fire, playing cards with my family after busy days in Toronto. We very much ended our stay.

My family and I stayed at Hager House over the Christmas period and had a magical time. The fireplace and hot tub were highlights and the whole house was so cozy and well-equipped, none of us wanted to leave!! Martli was a perfect host and was always available when needed - thank you!! First of all Martli is a good communicator. She came over and showed us us where everything was located and answered any of our questions. When we came to the house, she already had music playing and the lights were already on. She had fresh made biscuits ready for us! The house smelled great and was super clean. Its a warm and welcoming home. Martli has everything well organized with labels. All of the kitchen utensils are in good condition. She has an attention to detail and clearly wants guests to enjoy their stay. We had a really good stay and would highly recommend staying at Martli's home.

Hagar House was the perfect spot for a few ladies to get together! It was very clean, cozy and had the basic necessities! The fire place made it warm and the hot tub relaxing. A short walk to the beautiful water front and the downtown restaurants. Thank you Martli!

Great location. Lots of room. Nice big dining room table. Laundry was convenient. A/C worked well. Beds very firm. Good pillows & linens. Would stay here again.

Wir hatten mit unserer Familie (Eltern und drei Kinder) einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hager Haus in Burlington. Die Ausstattung war optimal und es gab genügend Platz. Die schöne Veranda und den Whirlpool haben wir gerne genutzt.

The property was perfect for a getaway. Equipped with everything you need and the hot tub was great. Located near a great walking trail and access to downtown was convenient. Can't say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend but book fast as we plan to return thanks

I rented the house with my siblings for a family reunion. The house is just as described with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and just up the road from the lake. The little extras were appreciated, blankets to use on the couch or morning coffee outside were appreciated. Martli was a great hostess and lives nearby if anything is missing but we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place, very clean and homey.
