This is one of my favorites in Belton. Quiet and remote very comfortable and a lovely home. So close to everything it is truly a great location. Highly recommend !!!

Visited Bell County from Friday thru Sunday in late July 2023. The location is EZ to find and not far from the interstate and the city. The home is very clean, spacious, and inviting for visitors. Helena has everything labeled and everything you would need for a visit. The property is great for cross-country walking, and the white-tail deer are out and visible. We really enjoyed our stay and will return if our next dates are available. Thanks. Mark

Great comfortable house big enough for 9 + family members. Great views!

Six of us rented this beautiful & comfortable home over Memorial Day weekend. It is located about a 7 minute drive outside of Salado on a ranch, only about a mile off IH35. It has 4 queen bedrooms, two are en suites, and two next to each other sharing another bath & a half bath is also located in the utility room off the kitchen. There’s also a bunk room w 4 beds upstairs. There are two porches with swings and rockers with beautiful views of the ranch. The house is fully furnished, with enough living areas to accommodate a big crowd! The water pressure in the showers is excellent and the kitchen is large with a great range & oven. Stocked with coffee, sugar, and lots of basics, along with dishes, pots & pans, and a full sized fridge rounds out a great environment to spend a day, a week, or a month. Keep in mind, though, that this is the country, and if you’re prone to attract mosquitoes, chiggers, or other creepy crawlers that live in grassy areas & woods, you’ll need plenty of bug spray.

Our family had a wonderful time at this location. The house was perfect for the 8 adults and smaller children. The house was large and very comfortable. The communication with host was easy and excellent. We were under a severe storm warning, as well as a tornado warning one evening, and the host quickly responded to our questions. Would stay here again with no hesitation.

**WARNING - This property has cameras and this is not disclosed anywhere in the description** They were left on the entire time we were there. I am all about security and have cameras at my properties, but as soon as I see a guest check in, then I turn them off. I also let them know they are there but off during their stay. There was a lack of basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, salt, coffee and other miscellaneous items. However, the place is beautiful and had all the necessary equipment needed for cooking and even a grill to barbeque. It was clean, peaceful and quiet and a great place to stay if you are going to be in the city all day and want a nice quiet place to rest in the evening. They thought of every age group and even provided toys for kids. Everything was clearly labeled throughout the house so it was easy to find things.

Extremely comfortable and relaxed environment. Very clean country setting. Would definitely stay again!

My cousins and l get together once a year to reminisce about the good old days and this location was perfect for us.

The property was amazing inside and out. The kitchen and great room area was so perfect for cooking, visiting, and eating. That upstairs area was amazing! The kids were in heaven. Wonderful experience!

Every year for over 20 years we’ve been coming to Salado for the Christmas Stroll. We finally found Bluebonnet Ridge which can hold our whole group comfortably.. it’s absolutely perfect. Our favorite part is sitting on the back porch in rocking chairs that overlook beautiful acreage and talking and laughing for hours. This was our 2nd year to stay here and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It feels like home away from home. ❤️

3 families with 5 kids really enjoyed our stay! The ability to have cozy fires, lots of land to run and play, plenty of bedrooms with enough baths, and fun activities such as the arcade game, piano, swings, bean bag toss, and just taking in the view with the deer was great to experience all together!

We rented this house for the bridesmaids and groomsman to stay for our wedding weekend! It was so beautiful and comfortable and we loved everything about this gorgeous home!

Beautiful home on a beautiful property. We spent the weekend with our kids and grandkids and the space was perfect for us. There were toys for the little ones, plenty of comfy sofas for the adults to gather and visit, and the table expanded such that we could all fit around for mealtimes. We had fun playing yard games and the only thing we didn't do was make s'mores in the fire pit. We would definitely love to come again and make more memories!

We came here with our adult kids and their young children. It was such a beautiful, perfect place to just enjoy a weekend with family. The beds were comfortable, the living room had plenty y of seating for our family. The kids had a great space outside to run and play. We very much enjoyed our stay! The setting is remote and feels like a secluded getaway!

We returned for another wonderful stay at Blubonnet Ridge. Perfect for families. The home is spotless and equipped with everything. Kitchen is well stocked. Close to the cute town of Salado. Helena is great. Highly recommend.

We went to Salado for a family wedding. It was the first time in over 40 years that my entire family spent the house under one roof so it was very special for us. We have went on vacations and spent time together but not in the same house for a few nights. The house was great and Helena was very responsive.

We came to this property for a high school officer retreat. The property far exceeded our expectations. It was as if the host had already anticipated every need we could have. Great kitchen perfect for cooking for a group, perfect entertaining space and comfortable living quarters. I am already booking for next summer!

A wonderful rural location yet only a mile from I-35 just minutes south of Belton. Plenty of space for our large family. The front and back porch are large and great for relaxing. Wonderful kitchen and living area as well. Definitely a great place! The owner was easy to reach to answer any questions we had and very accommodating to our needs.

There are actually 3 bedrooms downstairs with 2 and 1/2 bathrooms downstairs. The master has a nice full size walkin shower and private toilet. The 2 other bedrooms are just a few feet from the shared bathroom. There is an additional toilet in the laundry area. The upstairs rooms were also nice with a large shared bathroom. Plenty of pillow options. Easy to pull down or up blinds throughout the house. The futon in the arcade room is not a regular futon, but is extra nice and firm and should definitely be considered for sleeping. The main room was nicely decorated with Texas/Country theme. TV worked great. The large couch is very cushiony, but hard to get up from for an elderly or heavy person. CONS: It is not wheelchair accessible due to rocky terrain and unlevel ground. Would suggest that the housekeeping crew give the tubs a same day check as we did have to clean out quite a few dead bugs. Housekeeping should also give extra attention to the coffee pots which were both dirty and a cup of uncovered sugar was setting out. The KUERIG was a single cup style and coffee was not hot enough so may be due for an upgrade. The 12 cup coffee pot worked fine. Minor water leak under the kitchen sink that we tightened and notified the owners. We also had to remove several wasp nests from the back porch upon arrival. We are used to country living so was not an issue for us, but could be for "city folks".

This property is beautiful and very comfortable. They literally thought of everything. The view is amazing. We spent a nice relaxing week here. We will be back!

We were there together for an event at Rustic Acres. We stayed the weekend, but we’re busy at the venue most of the time. It was clean beautiful and welcoming. We loved it so much we definitely want to book it again so we can enjoy everything that it has to offer! We loved the kitchen and would love to make some amazing meals for my kids in it!
