Das Hotel Burgwirt liegt etwas abgelegen, aber sehr gut erreichbar in einem äußerst ruhigen Wohngebiet. Trotz seiner durchaus beachtlichen Größe fügt es sich insgesamt harmonisch in die Landschaft ein. Das stilvolle und aufgeräumte Ambiente passt gut zum Thema 'Burgwirt'. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat eine sehr positive Ausstrahlung. Mein Zimmer wurde mangels Verfügbarkeit kostenlos von Einzel- auf Doppelzimmer geupgraded. Das mittig freistehende Bett hat einen sehr guten Komfort. Das Zimmer war extrem sauber, alles wirkte frisch und nahezu neuwertig. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut, der Wirt fragte, in welcher Form mir Eier serviert werden dürften und man brachte mir nach vielleicht drei Minuten einfrisches Rührei, das eine tolle Struktur und einen guten Geschmack hatte - also nicht den billigen NATO Kleister, sondern, Rührei aus guten, frischen Eiern. Am Buffet war zudem für jeden etwas dabei und es war sehr schön angerichtet.

Der Grund, warum dieses Hotel von mir leider nicht die volle Punktzahl bekommt, ist das fehlende Rollo. Dadurch dass nur Gardinen vorhanden sind, wird man, sofern man die Möglichkeit hat, etwas länger zu schlafen, doch relativ früh von der Sonne wachgekitzelt. Zudem kommt unter der Zimmertür relativ viel Licht vom Flur durch, was ich mit der zweiten Decke allerdings abstellen konnte.

Bei einer Radtour von Donaueschingen nach Passau war dieses Hotel in der obersten Liga was Freundlichkeit und Qualität betrifft, sowohl Hotel als auch Restaurant

comfortable room and good breakfast. parking on site was convenient. location easy to get to and it is good for a stopover on a trip rather than a destination in itself. too far from the town to be able to walk in.

unable to provide extra pillow i asked for due to having a broken wrist. {only one per person provided] said they had no more pillows in the hotel! unfortunately it was difficult to sleep due to noise from the bar directly under our room and outside. also no air conditioning - and it was very hot.
