This was our second stay at this property and everything was just as WONDERFUL as the first stay! The house is so big and roomy and the pool is perfect for every age! (Love the shallow area for the little ones) We never even left the pool for the beach, even though it’s just a short walk away! The kitchen is stocked and ready to accommodate everyone. This house has become our yearly family gathering spot and will continue to be our number one choice! Dave and Patti are awesome and always easy to get a hold of! The place is just PERFECT!

Absolutely loved this home. The pool and spa were amazing. Plenty of room for our whole crew and the walk to the beach didn’t take long at all. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our needs. Lots of space and rooms were great! The pool was awesome! Close to the beach. Crossing A1A was a little challenging at times but nothing that would prevent us from staying here again. All in all a great experience!

This was in a great location within a 10-minute walk to the beach, although we spent most of our time in the backyard. The pool was ideal for the grandkids and space to spread out - play in pool, relax in raised spa to watch kids or lounge on the deck or covered patio. We even had a small bonfire to enjoy on the hot summer night! Great place for families!

The property was good for overall stay for large family wedding. But accuracy of listing on Vrbo was slightly off and disappointing. Location was OK. The size of the property was great, especially with the six bedrooms, all king beds with exception of one bedroom. some things that may need attention is upgrade condition as property seems worn a bit. Also, when you have this large property, you need to supply more towels. The kitchen was stocked very well with supplies to cook with and eat with including utensils and dishes. Make sure you pay attention to the listing as far as what the bathrooms offer. The first floor only has a toilet no shower second floor bathroom is shared by three of the bedrooms. The third floor bedroom has a nice seating area but does not have a bathroom so they have to share the bathroom on the second floor, which is very inconvenient. also, you do not have access to the triple garage. The exterior pool area is nice but needs to have a full size gas barbecue not a little charcoal Camp stove. We were aware from the listing that it was a charcoal grill, but not aware it was that small. We didn’t even use it because it was disgusting. Overall, it met our needs, but if we were to stay in the area again we would be closer we would be right on the beach. The listing says it is 3 blocks from the beach which is an accurate.

This house is a great size for a big group. Hosts are friendly and communicative. Pool and spa kept the kids busy the whole time, and check in/check out were hassle free. We would definitely stay again. Only downside is that sounds travels a LOT in the house, so sleeping in and getting kids to sleep was a tad difficult. Totally worth it, though. Favorite parts were master bedroom balcony, back patio/covered area by the pool, and the loft/bedroom on the third floor, so our teenager had a private area to get away from the littler kids and hang with friends. Super close to the beach with free walk on access and not far at all from downtown St. Augustine. Highly recommend, it gave us a fantastic vacation.

Beautiful spacious home, pleanty of room for multi family getaway. We enjoyed the pool and the spa. We walked all Saint Augustine and enjoyed the scenery, good food and grat company. The beach was great aswell. Can't wait to do it again.

We just spent the week of Christmas at the Lighthouse Beach Retreat....6 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby, 2 dogs and a partridge in a pear tree (just kidding about the last part). The property is very clean, super spacious, comfortable and has all the things that you need to just show up, unpack and get the vacay started! Plenty of bedrooms and we loved the two separate living areas. The fire pit and heated spa were a huge hit and enjoyed immensely. The location is wonderful! The neighborhood is very quiet and the beach (and a great park for the kids) is within a short walking distance. It's a quick drive to Publix, putt putt golf and St. Augustine. David and Patti are superb hosts! Excellent communication, quick to respond to questions, detailed and easy to follow instructions. This property was just perfect for our family! A+++ Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is very nice and spacious. It is a beautiful, clean home in quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of bedroom and sitting areas for everyone. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils that we needed for the simple meals we cooked during our stay.
We didn’t have to go very far to get to the beach. It was nice to just have a quick trip there and back. The pool and spa were great. The video about how to use them were very helpful. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the pool. I think they would have been happy to spend the whole time there.
The host was helpful and easy to communicate with. They let us know everything we needed, including when the pool tech would be coming.

We had all our grown kids and 2 granddaughters together for a week so we decided to rent a beach house and have some fun! It was the perfect place for all of us (10 adults 2 children) We had PLENTY of room and the pool was perfect. It even had a shallow area for the kids! So nice! It’s where we spent most of our time. The rooms were big and beds were comfortable. It’s super easy to get ahold of the host if you need anything. The neighbors were the NICEST people. We live close by and will most likely use this property again in the future.

This house was exactly what we needed for 10 adults and 5 kids. There are 6 bedrooms and two of them have multiple beds. There is also a pull out couch in the family room. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the kids and adults. The location of the house makes for a 7 minute walk straight to a beautiful beach access that allows 4 wheel vehicles to park on. Basically, the house and location couldn’t be any better. The only thing I would advise for future renters would be to make sure you bring any essentials that you need. Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish detergent, ziplock bags, ice, and any and all toiletries. The renters are upfront about these being in short supply, but the house is basically missing all of these items. Still, other than needing those items, the place is perfect for a big family beach vacation.

The house was great for us with the number of bedrooms. The house is spacious with a game room that worked out well for our 12 year old grandson. The grandkids really loved the pool. It was clean and very shaded which worked great for our two redheads. The Florida sun can be brutal in July! We loved driving on the beach which was a new experience. Nice quiet neighborhood near St. Augustine. The only complaint we had was there was not enough silverware to make it through the day if we cooked three meals. Beds are comfortable and we would highly recommend for a family with children.

Very clean big house within walking distance to the beach. We stayed for a week and spent time walking to the beach, hanging out at the pool and riding the bikes we rented locally. The house was the perfect size - big enough for 6 adults, 1 i year old and a baby. We all had plenty of room to spread out or to have a game night in the dining room. The backyard was a huge plus with green space, a pool and a jacuzzi. Very clean and the owners were very responsive and helpful.

The home was very accommodating for a family of 10 celebrating a college graduation for my niece. Pool, spa and fire pit were great. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was wonderful for cooking. Would suggest a better grill for outside as that was not very good to cook hamburgers and such. All in all it was a wonderful stay and the owners access for communication was awesome.

Easy check in/check out. The house presented as displayed on VRBO. Spacious, clean and perfect location to get some rest and relaxation. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. The pool and spa were beautiful. Located near the beach, the walk was short. We had an opportunity to view a SpaceX launch from the beach. The view was excellent under the moonlit sky. This was the perfect house for our family. Many bedrooms and a fantastic backyard with pool, hot tub and fire pit. Weather was sunny and 80 all week so we spent lots of time at the pool and at the beach/ocean which was a short walk away. Everything was well maintained and owner was easily accessible for questions. All appliances seemed new and worked well for all of our cooking and laundry. Quiet neighborhood was nice for riding bikes that we rented. Overall a fantastic week and experience at this VRBO rental!

We have stayed at several homes that we found on VRBO, sometimes the homes do not quite live up to our expectations based on the photos and description. This wonderful home exceeded our expectations, the kitchen is large and well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glass wear. The house was very clean, and all of the beds seemed to be very comfortable.
The neighborhood was quiet, but if you take a short walk, just a few blocks, you reach A1A where there is a nice crosswalk that allows you to cross the road safely . Once you cross , there is a beautiful sandy beach . While we were there the beach was pretty quiet which was great!! Back at the house is the swimming pool…. Awesome! The pool was very clean, pretty big and there is lots of privacy. We opted to have the pool heated instead of the hot tub, and in my opinion, it was well worth the small up charge. The only problem we had is that we only stayed for one week, next year we will try and book it for two weeks!

Fantastic location: short walk to the beach or Redfrog and McToads or the awesome Paladar Cuban Eatery & Bakery. And a short drive to St. Augustine for supplies, history, and shopping. I did not want to leave.

This home is very clean, spacious and location is perfect. The backyard is a paradise. Pool, spa, grill, firepit. The area is very quiet and peaceful. I can't say anything negative about this location. The management team was amazing.

Unfortunately we had the worst experience. The place is dirty and not well maintained. Roaches everywhere and they were huge. Hot tub is broken and full of mildew. Dishwasher was also broken and when we notified the owner his response was to send to a sponge and dish soap. Ironing board is provided but not the iron machine. The outside fire pit was full of garbage and water, we had to clean it to be able to use it. The pool is freezing cold and dirty, mildew smell is pretty strong. On checkout day the cleaning crew came at 9:15 and started rushing us to leave the house (checkout is at 10) . Overall was a bad experience and we will never come back.
