Hotel is easy to reach at just a few 100 meters from the highway / entrance to the Gotthard tunnel. Bed was comfy, not too hard, not too soft. Heating was alright, maybe a bit too much to my liking for sleeping comfortable.

Called the hotel to advise them I was running late due to high volume traffic in Italy, so they gave me an entrance code for the main door and informed me leaving the key to my room with my name attached. So far so good. At arrival, could easily open the door, however to my surprise didn't find the key to the communicated room (3rd fl.) but another one with also another name. As there was really no one available, I had no other option than using the remaining key and went to the room. Entering the room, it was quite spacious (a double instead of a single room as booked through Booking.com), so a plus although very 60's style (maybe 70's), nothing about possible WiFi, a small TV as big as my phone, but was there for 1 night to sleep and continue my trip the next morning, so decided to use the bathroom. This was build in the 60's, no real (normal) shower, a very tiny and narrow bathtub, a six year old could barely fit in, let alone myself, plus the loud noise that came out of the faucet, I had to switch it off as it was quite late already, and same with the bidet. So bathroom experience - Not Great at all! As mentioned, the bed was comfy, but the walls are quite thin and the room was next to the elevator, meaning I was kept awake till about 2am as guests kept coming up, not being quiet. To top it all of, at time of check-out the next morning I explained the situation I found myself in the night before and than one of 2 guys wanted to charge me for a double room which I didn't booked, explaining in Italian, I had no intentions to pay for the mistake they made themselves, to which the other guy checked the booking again and corrected the amount to be paid as booked.

The room was big and clean, heated and cosy. We came with a little baby and the staff arranged a crib for him which was great. Great location! We def recommend the place!

Charming hotel, nostalgic feel. Although everything in the rooms and the common areas of the hotel was old, everything worked and nothing was broken. Friendly staff at the reception.

Quite steep prices, although that can be said for everything in Switzerland.

Well located in the centre of Airolo, with a decent terrace for dining/drinking. Good pizza and some OK wines by the glass. Onsite parking was good to have.

The rooms are a little basic, as might be expected for this price in Switzerland, but adequate.

The Hotel is close to the highway and easy to reach. People are friendly and the beds are fine. Ideal for short visits when you drive to Italy. The restaurant is also good.

The shower is like a cannon from a firetruck & it doesn't stay in place, so maybe it would be a good idea to change the shower head for a wider one. I suggest ordering a room with the included bathroom. Personally i Didn't really like the shared bathroom situation, but that's a lesson for the next time. The parking is OK, but could be better. The parking in front of the restaurant is paved with asphalt, but pretty busy. The parking on the left side would be way better if there would be Asphalt instead of Rocks. I think it's OK for normal cars, but for sportscars it's not so good.

The hotel is conveniently located directly across the road from the train station, but we weren't disturbed by any noise in the night. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had good coffee and a wide selection, including very tasty yoghurt with local ingredients from the producers across the road.

Nice large room. Good breakfast and nice and early which was good for hikers.

Great value for the area, clean and comfortable, good breakfast - parking the bikes next to the hotel entrance 👍 This was off our route but we got to ride the Gotthard pass twice, once on the old roads and once on the amazing new road.

Place with the soul, very nice people. View from the window was beautiful and compensated the neighbourhood of busy road and railwaystation and shared bathroom.

Great location next to the train station. Amazing pizza at the restaurant. Rooms are basic but sifficient.

It was Saturday night and lot of parties were going on in town and around the hotel till 2AM.
