This was the second year we stayed at Atlantic Paradise. The location is great. It is close to everything you need (beach, stores, etc). The front balcony is the perfect location to watch the sunrise. The only negative things I could say is, It could use a few more chairs on the balcony and on the back balcony and they need a better vacuum cleaner. The one they have now did not work so we were not able to vacuum. But other than those two MINOR things it is great!

This was our first time going to the Outer Banks so maybe our expectations were high. The house, upon arrival, showed a lot of signs of wear. There were rust marks all over the outside, the wood work and decking is in need of a lot of repair, and the furniture all around the outside of the house is cheap plastic furniture that is brittle to sit on. The inside of the house smelled musty,the furniture was piece mealed and very very worn. The bathrooms had black mold growing in them, in and around the shower. There were multiple lights burned out, and the main deck off the back of the house looks to be poorly constructed with random anchors placed throughout. The floors and banisters look to be uncleaned and there is split molding and caulking everywhere. The ceiling on the upper floor is cracked and the chair in one of the king masters on the second floor is broken. We also noticed that the HVAC was not properly zoned as one side of the house was freezing and the opposite side stayed uncomfortably warm. There is only a park grill which is called out in the amenities but when the house is going for over $12K a week, how hard would it be to buy a $400 grill? The landscaping is way overgrown around the pool and infringes on the sitting area and the gate out to the pool is completely rotted. The only positive about this house, in our opinion, was the location to the beach. Otherwise, this house needs to be completely remodeled and updated.

This was our third year at Atlantic Paradise. As always it did not disappoint. Clean, roomy and comfortable. Just a few steps to the beach. Nice pool and yard. Wish the pool furniture was bit more comfy. I brought my own chair this year

We loved the efficiency of the home and the proximity to the beach. The private beach for the Southern Shores Community was wonderful. The road out front is busy but cars immediately stop at the crosswalk for pedestrians to cross. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool as well after a day at the beach. The maintenance of the pool was impeccable, it was crystal clear, as was the hot tub. House was clean upon arrival and the amount of bedroom /bathrooms were sufficient for our large family. There was an ice cream, donut and many shops within walking distance and grocery stores etc. were a few minute drive. All made for a great week with family. We hope to rent it again some day!

This is a great house but the issues we did experience were sent in by email and through the hospitality app like we were told too. The fix it forms we filled out and emails sent were not responded to until the Friday before we left. Guess the house will be in better shape for the next guests!

Wonderful family vacation home. Had everything we wanted to enjoy being together and enjoying each others company even if it rained. Run out to the beautiful pool or hot tub in between the raindrops, or sit on the many decks to just enjoy the views.

House was absolutely beautiful. Kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked all of our meals for 14 adults and had all the gadgets we needed. The dining room table however needs to be replaced or refinished. The surface is awful. My elderly parents stayed in the bedroom on the middle floor on the front of the house. They complained daily about how uncomfortable their mattress was. Perhaps that one needs replacing. The living room furniture has also seen a lot of wear. The pool, hot tub, and elevator all worked great. We had some light bulbs out in bathrooms when we checked in and someone came out on Sunday to fix them. Very quick service. We truly loved the location and the house. We would definitely stay again.

This house was everything we hoped it would be. Clean, spacious, and a great location for an old group of friends to reunite. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and and grill tools. The two dishwashers came in handy, as did the two refrigerators. The hot tub was the star of the show on chillier days! Keyless entry made check-in seamless. Make sure to pack or plan a grocery run for extra toilet paper, hand soaps, dish detergent, trash bags, etc. House comes with the bare minimum in that regard. Would love to rent this house again.

Our stay was very uncomfortable. We felt violated because The owner stalked us. The owner watched thru door bell cameras of our comings and goings, due to a service dog. We felt like we were being harrassed. The only good was a very nice and professional employee of Beach Reality.

Location, Location, Location!!! The property was all that we expected and more! If we could have ordered the weather, it definitely exceeded our expectations. We had 5 couples in our group who all enjoyed the beach, pool, local restaurants, seafood and making memories. The island's relaxing vibe made the trip all that we hoped it would be. Any concerns were promptly addressed by staff at Beach Realty. We would love to return to OBX and everyone agreed that the property was perfect!

Heaven in Atlantic Paradise
Twelve people representing three generations. Plenty of room on the main floor for all to be together. But also, (with 7 BRs, game room, sundecks, and pool) plenty of room for all to retreat for some alone time. We had lousy weather, but what a great time we all had!

Beautiful house with lots of bathrooms and bedrooms for our extended familiy of 12.
The very private pool was perfect for our everybody and especially for our grandchildren who had a great time.
The beach is very close and easily accessible across a fairly busy road.
Lovely views and well designed and fitted out kitchen with a large table that seated us all.

The layout of the house was nice but NONE of the TVs were operable without having a tech come in. He kind of figured out how to use them but we ended up having to pull in our computers with and use an HDMI cable to get streaming channels.
The house blinds and the vents to the HVAC system were dirty in particular rooms. The dishwasher wasn't level and my brother have to put a shim under it so it would work properly.
Bathrooms were missing trashcans, there were no instructions on how to turn off the hot tub, the toaster over leg was broken, there were no hand towels in the kitchen.
All this was reported when we were there.
I would not rent this house again because of the highway noise. The front porches are unusable because of this reason. We were there in October and it was even noisy in the back by the pool.
Positives: the pool was nice and having a bathroom with each bedroom was very nice.
The elevator worked well.

The house is in a great location with quick and easy access/walk to the beach. Although the Ocean Ave. is very busy with cars, it is central to most of what OBX offers up and down the coast. Layout is great for a large family group. Pool and hot tub in good condition and great for days when beach weather is not ideal. Great kitchen layout with 2 dishwashers and sinks not to mention refrigerator and sink on bottom floor for easy access when at pool. Bedroom furniture in good shape but other common room furniture showing signs of age/use and could use updating. TV system/service was very difficult to operate and did not include major networks...tech support was responsive but ineffective so although the equipment was modern enough the TV was not good for watching major sporting events. Grill was adequate but could be upgraded with minor investment. Decent outside deck space and room to air-out.

We had a wonderful week staying at Atlantic Paradise. The house was exactly as the pictures showed and even better. It was clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool, elevator very great bonuses. It was an easy short walk to the beach and the 2 outside showers very great for showering the grandkids. The rental company was very quick in responding to one minor issue we had. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We had a great gathering of old friends (six couples) for three days here. The house was beautiful and well maintained and conveniently located to the beach and local amenities and facilities. On average we get together about every two years and this was the first time we stayed together in just one home. I think we all agreed that this spacious house, with the benefit of an elevator for an individual recovering from surgery, was perhaps our best gathering ever. We had plenty of space and being under one roof simplified everything and allowed us to focus on the important things!
