Le Thor is a small town on the banks of the Sorgue, in the heart of the Monts de Vaucluse.There are some really beautiful walks in the vicinity of Le Thor, (many hiking trails start out from here). In particular, you will be able to take a walk to Thouzon hill which is capped by the remains of a chateau and a chapel.Le Thor is very well positioned for exploring Provence. Within 30 minutes to the east are all the famous hill-top villages of the Luberon like Gordes, Bonnieux (where 'A Good Year' was filmed), Roussillon, Lacoste and Menerbes (where 'A Year in Provence' was written). The striking Fontaine de Vaucluse is 15 minutes away.

Your home will consist of a line of beautiful vaulted triple reception rooms on the Ground Floor, newly restored and renovated – dining room, living room, and library plus a spacious and brand new kitchen. The beautiful stone vaulted rooms, overlooking a large terrace, just made for summer living, which in turn overlooks fields and vineyards.
