Old facilities but well cared

Exceptional staff. We were travelling with a child and a baby and they were very friendly and helpful.

Shower was a bit old. It worked well but I was expecting a better one for the price of the room.

The hotel has good facilities including a small outdoor swimming pool (but the water was too cold to tolerate for more than a minute or so, even in mid-June) and 4xEV chargers that are free to use. The food at dinner and breakfast was very good.

The major downside was the response to the waiter knocking a glass of red wine over my wife. We were offered a free pudding, but we didn't want any more food. Staff arranged to wash her skirt and top overnight - and did a good job. But they still charged in full for dinner and seemed to think that not imposing laundry charges was a great response. When we go to a hotel, we expect to have dinner, eat what we order and leave the hotel with our clothes intact - that seems to be a minimum basic service. We don't expect dinner to be disrupted by being soaked in red wine. And if it happens we expect the hotel to be apologetic and to offer some sort of compensation (such as a discount on the charge for the meal), not to be fobbed off with free laundry. The test of a good hotel is how they respond when things go wrong. They failed this time.

Great service. Very comfortable and the food was delicious.

The bed was good and I slept well, but there's room for improvements with the bed.

Despite arriving very late, 2am, (we had previously called the hotel to advise them) everything went very smoothly. We arrived directly by the private parking located under the hotel (14 euros for the night but worth it to know that the car stays in an enclosed locked space) and we were doing the check-in at the reception just a few minutes later. It's perfect for using the Bilbao line ferries, as it's a 15 minutes / 15 kms journey by car from the hotel to the ferries. The bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of the usual dried cereal type or freshly cooked food (sausages, eggs, bacons, etc)

Staff were nice

It wasn't clean enough and rooms need to have some refreshment, found a bug in bath tube. Saying all this its good enough if you have to stay just over night and looking for something on cheaper side

Location and parking were great

1st room the sink was filthy looked like someone had vomited in it. Changed rooms second room was ok. Water very slow running away in the shower. A bottle of wine or similar for our inconvenience would have helped. Food ok but very expensive.
