I don’t think there’s much more you could want. It’s a charming, relaxing environment; beautiful Moroccan decor, a real escape from the hustle of the medina. Very welcoming, friendly staff. We stayed in the Tosca suite; a huge, really comfy room. It’s on the edge of the medina, so generally quieter, but only about 20 minutes walk to the centre.
Well you could say the shower is not good for standing under, but it’s a hand shower for hair washing in the bath; and the bath is great. And they don’t do dinner, but there’s a helpful list of restaurants within 5-20 minutes walk. We tried 2 of the more expensive ones and they were great.

The property is beautiful and atmospheric - the garden and pool are an oasis of calm from a the busy souks of Fes.
Nothing - the property is palatial.

Everything. A beautiful Riad in the Medina next to the Zyiat Gate with helpful staff and a genuinely lovely proprietor in Monique. 12 minute walk to the Blue Gate and commercial area of the Medina. Great pool and garden.
No cafes or restaurants near by.

Riad Norma surpassed our expectations. We felt like we landed in a beautiful Moroccan castle. Our room was very large & the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom & shower were lovely. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. The owner lives next door to the Riad, and she always checked on you to see if all was well. They serve a lovely breakfast in the garden along side the pool. You are a short work to taxis & about a 10 minute walk to the Medina.

The property was an impeccably restored Riad in a quiet location just inside the Medina. The pool was very refreshing in a beautiful garden. The staff and owner, Monique, were wonderful and very helpful.

this room rates as one of my best ever anywhere. the riad is just gorgeous, ( so painstakingly and lovingly renovated; the owner Monique and manager Younes so committed to their guests; the garden and pool so tranquil, so much so that on our second day we did not leave the riad except to go out to dinner)
it’s location is within the walls of the city. the breakfast is delicious ( and in the beautiful garden)
thank you Monique and Younes

this was one of the most exquisitely beautiful places we have stayed in our many years of travel....

Beautiful home and professional staff. Room was magnificent with all that I needed and more: Everything was excellent. A true bed and breakfast with the feeling of a home away from home. The Madame of the house, Monique, was welcoming and attentive, as were the staff. I truly enjoyed my stay in Fez and wish it was longer.
I think it’s standard for the beds in Morocco to be on the firmer side. Wasn’t terrible just something to be aware of.

It’svery relaxing place, in the evening there is a fireplace open and the classic music, during the day you could enjoy the mint tea in the garden area closed to the pool. The atmosphere in this riad is really magic. Location is good, in very quite area with the walking distance from the main attractions. The breakfast was nice and the bed was very comfortable.
It was quite humid in the room, but I guess it’s normal for riads, because they don’t have enough windows. Breakfast was good, but due to the fact that it’s the breakfast set (and not a buffet one) may be they should ask at the beginning if guests have some allergies, intolerance etc

The Riad is beautiful. The decoration, light and ambiance are superb, specially in the evening when there is music in the background.
The garden is cozy and fragrant with its orange and lemon trees. It made all the difference for our visit to Fès, and we barely wanted to leave the Riad to explore the town!
Monique and her team are welcoming and caring.

Great Breakfast, beautiful Riad and amazing rooms and facilities. The staff was awesome and Younes was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction and suggesting places we should go see. Will stay here again when in Fes!

Beautiful accomodation and very helpful staff

The hospitality was tremendous. Younes and Monique graciously helped us with anything we needed. The breakfasts were multiple, delicious courses (though mostly carbs, fyi) and a relaxing start to the day.
As perhaps to be expected in a traditional riad, the shower was a large tub with a nozzle that could be affixed to the wall to transform into a shower. The tub walls were high and could be a challenge to get in for some. Tall people may struggle with the shower setup.

Monique and Younes are an absolute delight to interact with. It felt as if we were visiting home away from home, while being taken care of. Their entire staff is super friendly and always willing to help. We also got a chance to talk to a few other visitors. Oh and the breakfast is scrumptious.
Nothing at all! Really really appreciate the personal touch. Means a lot to us. Can't decide if it was Norma or the Medina that was the highlight of our stay in Fes!

The Riad Norma and its proprietor Monique set the standard! The riad is astoundingly beautiful and comfortable and the minute we walked in we felt we were at home. The Aida Suite was amazing, relaxing and reading by the pool was magical, and the quiet neighborhood was much appreciated after a day of sights, sounds, and scents of the souks of Fes. The Riad serves a very good breakfast either poolside or in the charming main hall. The location is perfect since it is no more than a 15 minute walk to the Bab Boujloud and the entry to the souks or other entry points to the heart of the medina. Monique has assembled an all-star staff, too, who look after the guests so well. The whole stay at Riad Norma was A+++.
Nothing. It was perfect.

This is a very special place. The setting, the staff, and the general feeling of comfort and care is exceptional. Monique, the owner is delightful and so welcoming in this riad that she painstakingly renovated. Be sure to see the photos of the before and after to better understand the transformation. Younges and Ajonni were also beyond accommodating helping us with directions and recommendations. The location is very convenient to the Ziat gate in a quiet section of the medina. We loved every minute and felt like we always have a “home” to return to in Fez.

Beautiful place, excellent very neat and clean bedroom and bathroom. Very friendly staff, especially the owner, Moneek and the manager, Younes. They remained in touch with us before our arrival, guided us how to get to the point near the Riad and were present there to receive us. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Highly recommended
We felt that price per night is high

Very beautiful riad! The garden and swimming pool are amazing. The staff is very friendly and breakfast is good! It’s a good place to relax after the very busy city.
The beds were a little bit to short for us quiet tall people.

The riad is decorated beautifully and well cared for. Our stay was very comfortable. Monique (the owner) and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Everything is impeccably clean. The garden is a little paradise - it's lovely to return and sit by the pool after exploring the medina. Good air conditioning (important in August!)

The pool was perfect for the hot weather this time of the year. The room and the bathroom were very beautiful, comfortable, and clean.
Perhaps having restaurants closer to the place. It was not easy to find them during the night and Fez Cafe, the closest one required a reservation. But I think a taxi should be a good option for arriving at the most popular places at night. Next time we will try them.

charming and cute riad, helpful and nice staff, the location is not that attractive though.
