The place was dog friendly, a crate was set up for us and the fenced in back yard was great. Good set up for a group

The house was beautiful. They had everything we needed. Not as close to the beach as I had hoped but still wasn’t a far drive. I would highly recommend this property.

We have been spending our vacation on Oak Island for over 15 years and experienced a lot of different properties/locations on the island. The best feature of this location was the large versatile living space. It was fabulous!! The comfortable futons easily converted to beds, the extra tables were great for games and meals, and the couches were huge and comfortable. The kitchen opened into the living space and was generally well equipped. We used it extensively and were pleased with all of the appliances. It could use a ladle, more silverware than just a set of 8 (we actually purchased a few pieces & left them), and a larger casserole/cake pan. One bigger pot would be a bonus as well. The laundry area included plenty of extra towels and a huge washing machine. The backyard is so cute and we enjoyed the fire pit. We stood our camera on the deck railing and took a family picture with the lights in the backdrop. It turned out so beautiful with 3 generations of family. We were very tentative about booking this property since we do not have indoor animals but it proved to be free of pet odor and very clean. The walk to the beach was approximately 10 minutes but the scenic walkway was unexpectantly beautiful. It was like discovering a hidden gem on the island! We would enjoy staying here again. This is the first beach house I have rented where I didn't feel the need to clean it upon arrival. This house was so clean I didn't have to!! It was wonderful! The house is very comfortable and there was plenty of room for 7 of us to have a good time. I had a couple of questions during our stay and Jared, the owner, responded promptly and was very helpful. This was a very roomy house. There was six adults that stayed and there was room for more. Something I didn’t realize about the beach was there were no bathrooms and you had to pay to park. But the house was great. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean. It is simply, yet cutely decorated. A few nice perks... the beach bikes, the labels in the kitchen and other places - making it easier to find things, the screen porch on the front of the house (which wasn't in the pictures), the large crate in the master BR, and more. We may stay again in the future:)

My family and I could not have asked for a better house to stay in during our visit to Oak Island. The location was ideal as we were a short walk to the beach and the street was quiet and peaceful for relaxing evenings. The host was very helpful and available for all of our questions. My family all agrees that this is a house we would like to stay in again in the future!

We just spent a week her for Thanksgiving, 4 adults and 2 dogs, and found everything clean, comfortable and quiet. It's our 3rd or 4th time here and we'll be back.

Since children have grown up and became adults we have not been on a vacation together. This is just the start of our annual vacations. The house was very clean with everything we needed. The short walk to the beach was relaxing but if you want to drive, there is plenty of parking with beach access. Had a wonderful stay and plan to return next time!

The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our family. We were notified about an air flow issue before our arrival but they put air conditioners in several of the rooms. The air conditioners worked great and it stayed cool in the whole house. Meghan and Jared made sure that we could contact them if there was any problems during our stay.

We had a great week at the beach. The house was great and fit all our needs. We ended up renting a golf cart for the week to get to the beach. This was a lot of fun. Would stay here again.

Nice updated home that our family and small dog loved. We loved the fenced back yard at night for sitting and playing games by the fire. The large bonus living room is a wonderful asset. Any of the beach accesses are easily accessible with a very short drive and always had plenty of parking. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need.

It was just as described and our communication with the property manager was excellent!

The tenting process was easy. I liked that we got text messages and emails on how to check in and out. Wonderful communication.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here . The house is alot bigger in person and pictures don't do this property justice . The back porch and yard are very relaxing and makes you feel right at home . The house was very nice . The owners are incredibly helpful for any questions you may have . Communication was above and beyond !! Check in was easy and stress free. This has to be one of the best houses we have stayed at and was truly a home away from home !!!

Very well laid out home with nice amenities

This property was exactly what we wanted for our “seniors” adult family plus two small dogs. We loved the location and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs. Would definitely want to stay here again.

Another nice stay at this property. The property managers are extremely helpful, professional and prompt in their communication and the house, while a 15 minute or so walk to the beach, is on a very quiet street, dog-friendly, clean and comfortable! This is our second stay at this house and enjoyed some of the updates. We'll keep this house in our list of "favorites" for future stays. Joey Mathis

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Immaculately clean and well laid out floor plan. It was wonderful to have a second living room , which we used to celebrate my grandson‘s first birthday. Dog friendly and wonderful backyard. Cute front porch and very comfortable home. We’ll definitely consider returning to stay here!

Our family had the perfect weekend at this house. We had our dogs with us so the backyard with a fence and an extra living room were perfect for them!

We could not have been happier with this house and our experience there! The hosts were super accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions we had. The house was spotless and very comfortable. Location worked well…less than a 15 minute walk to the beach, but we mostly drove to carry our kids’ endless supplies. Parking was always easy and the island was perfect! Highly recommend!!

My family and I were very pleased with the property - it was clean, spacious, quiet and pet friendly. It was a bit further away from the beach than what we like, but the advantage was that it was more private, away from the traffic on Beach Drive and rental houses stacked on top of each other. Communication with the property manager was awesome and check-in/check-out was flawless. We'll definitely consider this property again.
