This was our 3rd time to Dauphin Island with our 2 daughters their husbands and children. Our first time to this property and we were not disappointed in anyway. The location, beach space, abundance of beach toys made it great for the 5 grandsons. The kitchen is well staffed and the house with plenty of bedrooms for all to spread out. The deck and furniture were a great place to spend time when not on the beach. The hot tub was a big plus as well. The property was everything we needed so we booked it again before we left!

Great home! Second time we have been here with our whole family (15) We had a great time and the house is a prefect fit for us. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes but bring your own spices. You will need extra paper products and laundry and dishwasher-soap. Coffee filters. Weather was hot but AC was nice and spent most of our time in the water😊

Our stay was remarkable. The house had everything we needed. The only thing that we feel needs some work is the bathroom off the bunk room. It could use some updating.

The house was very clean other than a moldy shower curtain upon arrival. The layout was perfect for our 4-family group and the deck is the best we have seen with the nicest deck furniture ever. The beach was private and there is plenty of room to spread out without neighbors encroaching. We enjoyed the waves, dolphins from the deck, watching the neighboring fishermen reel in catches, and crab hunting at night. The only negative was communication with Vacasa. It is not the same as communicating with an owner and many times if felt like my questions or concerns were being fielded by a call center or by AI. It did not seem like they had any personal knowledge about the house or area. Even with this, we would definitely book this house again!

Perfect location! Plenty of space! Outdoor deck furniture was the best we’ve ever had at a beach rental - very nice quality, comfortable and plenty of seating for everyone. House was clean and had everything we needed for cooking. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time there with our teenage children, young adult children, and our parents(the grand parents) we had plenty of room! It was clean and well stocked with anything you need in the kitchen. I would 100% go back!

The house was great for a large family gathering! Plenty of rooms and beds! House was clean and organized. Very close to the beach. We were able to see dolphins everyday! Easy to watch kids play on the beach from deck. They also have a ton of kids toys- we appreciated that very much! The hot tub was a lifesaver on colder windy days.
-When we got there the hot tub was filthy. Not the sand, but head rests broken, a smell, and not clear water. We messaged team and a guy came that same day to empty it and clean! Very responsive. It didn’t have a cover only a tarp which we couldn’t get to stay on with 30-40mph winds.
-The deck was in terrible condition. If you don’t wear shoes every single step, you will get a sliver. I stepped on a rusty nail that was up on the stairs.
It needs to be replaced or resurfaced at least.
-there is absolutely no cleaning supplies. Nothing to sweep, wipe down counters or clean up spills.
- bring extra paper supplies and soap for washer/ dish washer.
- when we got there, there was food left by previous tenants all over, under the house.
Pickle jars. Potatoes. onions. Beer cans.
-finally there was a flood warning with an upcoming storm. We heard from a neighbor that we were to move our cars to a different location. I had to message the company multiple times to get a response to see where to move and if we had to move or if it was further west. I got a response 12 hours after the mayor had posted on Facebook to move your cars.

This was our second trip to Dauphin Island. The beach house was amazing and suited our needs perfectly. Each bedroom pretty much had a bathroom of its own. The fifth bedroom had many toys and tv which was perfect for our little ones to play in when not on the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including two refrigerators (one with water and ice machine), a panini maker, waffle makers, and many dishes for little ones. In the laundry room, there were extra beach towels, an extra freezer, high chair, and like new washer and dryer. The living room and dining room had plenty of seating for our whole group. The outside furniture was very high quality and included many different options: rocking chairs, lounge chairs, tables, and foot rests. The hot tub was an added bonus as our weather wasn’t fabulous every day. It was great to have an outside shower to wash off the sand before going inside. The property also had an abundance of outside/sand toys as well. There was ample parking for 3-4 vehicles. There was a cargo elevator, put it was locked and no key could be found. This would have been nice to use to carry our belongings in and out. We would definitely rent this home again.

We rent homes on Dauphin Island a couple times a year and this property could have been one of the best in terms of location, size, and amenities. However, the house has a severe roach infestation. Not just a few random bugs; they were crawling across the floors and up the walls, they were in the cabinets and drawers. We had to rewash everything in the kitchen for each use. We rented via VRBO, but all communication afterwards was through Vacasa and it is not a great combination. My husband and I contacted Vacasa multiple times regarding the roach problem and all we got were auto AI responses. We were told that a property manager would reach out to us, but this never happened. All we wanted was someone to come spray and clean out cabinets, drawers, and closets. What could have been the best vacation was overshadowed by the bugs and complete lack of customer service.

The inside of the house is great very well stocked. But we booked this house in April for the hot tub and on arrival we were told they had ordered a part for it and it was unusable. The communication between Vacasa and the property manger was not helpful and was really just a waiting game. I really wish we would have rented with a more reliable site.

It was a fantastic location, the house was beautiful and just as pictured. Fully stocked kitchen, with every dish and gadget you might need. Plenty of everything for a large group. Even dishes for the little ones! They provided a small amount of dish soap and dishwasher detergent. Some reviews said there were spices stocked. Ours were NOT, so be prepared to bring your own or buy some. There was also a mop and a broom, but no cleaning solutions, so I recommend buying some. You'll get a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels, but you'll need to buy some if you stay longer than a couple of days. It was wonderful to be able to just walk right down to the beach from the house. Soft, clean sand, and the water was great! They are installing an outdoor shower, so future renters can look forward to that! They provided beach toys for the kids, and the hot tub was great. The grill worked well, and the outdoor furniture was perfect. The beds are on the firm side, but not at all uncomfortable. There are extra linens and tons of towels provided. The extra fridge and freezer space was a surprise bonus! Overall it was a fantastic stay, and I would most definitely visit again. Dauphin Island is a gem!

We stayed at the Dr’s orders with a small group of women from our Mardi Gras float in January. The living area was very spacious, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots big enough to cook a large group meal. The Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked nicely. They also had two ice boxes so we did not have any problems with having to use ice chest. We only got to enjoy the jacuzzi for one night due to it not working our first night and then weather the rest. Outside patio was filled with furniture for you to enjoy the beach views. Also loved how spacious the rooms were!

The layout of the home is perfect for a large party. The deck furniture is top notch and there is plenty of it! The furniture inside the home, however is quite dated and in need of replacement. We were a bit unnerved that there is only one staircase up to the house. It is at the side of the house. There is no staircase directly down to the beach off of the gulf front deck like most gulf front homes. We were actually shocked that this would be up to code for fire safety reasons. There is a door from the laundry room, which was so rusted that it doesn’t lock or latch to open/close. You just push/pull it open. I notified the property manager, so hopefully they will fix that. The deck railing is faulty/broken in many spots and the entire deck needs to be pressure washed and have a good maintenance once over. While we wouldn’t stay in this particular home again, we would absolutely rent through Vacasa with this property manager. We had issues with missing garbage cans and the hot tub and the manager was super attentive. All in all a good stay. There are just better maintained/updated homes on the island.

It was a great house for us to rent, the house had so much room and lots of kitchenware and fridge space. The hot tub was nice to have on a chilly night. When we got there it was dark and we drove a little too far under the house, we got stuck in the sand but Vacasa was kind enough to pull us out. The porch had lots of really nice chairs to sit in or lounge in. Overall great place!!

The kitchen was stocked with tons of dishes and cooking supplies for any size of group. Even the seasoning cabinet was full. The dish washer is on its last leg or just needs to be cleaned.

My family and friends have been spending a week at the beach for the last six years! This house is set up perfectly for our family.. Plenty of room, kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance. We were blown away by the deck and very nice deck furniture! This house is what our family has everything my family has been looking for! Quiet and we had the beachfront view. Toys were there for my grandkids. Making reservations for next trip! Definitely be back’

This beach home is so close to the water, it feels like you can touch it from the balcony. The kitchen is very well stocked with lots of appliances. And there is plenty of seating on the covered balcony. My family, 6 adults and 7 children, enjoyed staying here

Great place for surf fishing and/or easy beach access. Includes some nice amenities that you don't always think of including an extremely well stocked Kitchen (e.g., cast iron skillets, frying equipment, cookie sheets galore, etc...), Weber five burner propane grill on deck, back-up propane tanks, three large refrigerator/freezers and one small freezer chest. Hot tub worked perfectly while we were there and was used much more than I expected.

We absolutely loved Dauphin Island and this beach house was perfect for our family!! We loved all the space, the 2 refrigerators plus a beer fridge and a huge stand up freezer! This was by far one of the best decks on this side of the beach with a covered portion that even is set up with a mister hose that is nice for steamy hot days! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because we had a bed break (one of the platforms busted) by just laying in the bed and it took a couple days to get someone to come out and repair it. We also went to grill around 8:00pm and there was no propane in the tank so we ended up having to bake our burgers. So if you have an issue with the house they’re not the most timely in getting back to you.

This beach house is perfect
We had the best time playing at the beach right down from the deck. Older family members got to watch the kids play from the comfort of the deck. The house was very nice and clean. This was our 1st time going to dauphin island and it was awesome. Not overcrowded and very family oriented. There are a few suggestions I have for this home: better softer sheets, comfier beds and the rug in the living room slid very easily and almost caused some falls for grandparents. Would recommend and will stay again.

House location and access to the beach was great. The house was very clean with pleasant decor. Home was well stocked with necessities and fun activities for inside and out. For example, there were fun games for the kids and nice beach chairs outside. The kitchen was spacious and user friendly and well stocked with dishes and utensils.

Relaxing getaway
We had such an amazing time! The house and accommodations are fantastic and everything you would need. We traveled from Wisconsin and this rental didn't leave us without anything we could have needed. We packed several things not knowing what would be there and available and never used many of our own things like tumblers, kids utensils, beach towels, etc. There are no beach chairs and although there are many chairs on the deck they are high quality, heavy resin and would be difficult to move down the stairs. We were thankful to have brought our own. The beach views and sunsets are breath taking and so enjoyable. It makes leaving very hard! I definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a beach getaway! You are right on the beach!

Amazing beach house
We absolutely loved our stay. The location was absolutely perfect. We were able to hang out in the beach everyday with no other people around us. The house was perfect for a big group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We all loved it! The kitchen was also very well equipped for any type of meal! Would 10 out of 10 recommend!

INCREDIBLE!
Doctors Orders beach house was incredible. The pictures did not do it justice. The bedrooms were very spacious with their own bathrooms and closet space. The kitchen was immaculate and more dishes and cooking utensils than you could need. The ocean front back porch was huge. We spent every morning sitting on the back with our morning coffee watching the sunrise and many dolphin shows. Sunset was hot jacuzzi and again the dolphins showed themselves. We had 11 ladies and it was the best girls trip ever! We will do it again and Doctors Orders will be our #1 place to stay. Also, any day, any time you could reach someone, be it to help us with the tv’s, hot tub, or WiFi, they always responded quickly. TY Vacasa!
